I am deeply disappointed with the experience I had at this clinic…read more I brought in a dog that had been missing for about a month after locating her owners through her microchip. The dog was in obvious respiratory distress, with pale gums and signs that she needed immediate medical attention. My only goal was to help reunite her with her family and make sure she received appropriate care. Unfortunately, the veterinarian's attitude was extremely unprofessional. She was rude from the beginning, spoke to us with very little compassion, and even raised her voice at me when I respectfully asked that the owners be informed about the option of proceeding with X-rays and blood work before making a decision about euthanasia. I was not demanding treatment--I simply believed the owners deserved the opportunity to understand all of their options. The dog was then taken to the back treatment area. About ten minutes later, we were told she had gone into cardiac arrest and were asked whether we wanted CPR. Whether the outcome could have been changed or not, the communication throughout the entire process was poor, rushed, and lacked empathy. I understand that not every patient can be saved, and I respect the difficult decisions veterinarians have to make every day. However, kindness, clear communication, and respect toward both clients and rescuers should never be optional. I sincerely hope this clinic reflects on how families are treated during some of the most emotional moments of their lives. Compassion is just as important as medical knowledge.

Helen deserves an award for her HUGE heart and a nice raise. I'm horrible when it comes to my animals crossing the rainbow bridge. Helen walked over the bridge with our sweet girl. Something that has no words to describe. INCREDIBLE human being and EXCEPTIONAL part of our staff!! Thank you, Helen. You're an amazing person. You held me up at my worst. A Diagnostic Virtuoso: The "Mozart" of Veterinary Medicine…read more As a retired Clinical Director who has spent a career hiring and evaluating medical professionals, I have an exceptionally high standard for clinical competence and professional integrity. For months, I searched for answers for my 123-pound gentle giant, Axel. I took him to several well-known clinics in Houston, but regrettably, they failed to find even the single mass I had discovered myself. They simply fumbled the opening statement. Then, I found Dr. Anna Parham at PetCare Express on Holcombe Boulevard. Dr. Parham is a true prodigy of her craft. While others relied on expensive overhead and corporate checklists, she used her hands and her clinical intuition--the soul of medicine that is clearly in her DNA. Within minutes, she identified three separate masses that the previous clinics had entirely missed. She performed a single FNA (Fine Needle Aspiration) to confirm the nature of the primary mass, while her expert clinical touch immediately identified the others as typical, benign lipomas. She gave us the unremarkable exam result we had been searching for. From the moment we walked into PetCare Express, the entire staff was exceptionally warm, friendly, and helpful. In a high-pressure field, their genuine caring and support created a seamless, stress-free environment for both me and my dog. Dr. Parham found in minutes what high-priced hospitals missed for months. She recognized a client who values quality and met that standard with an honest, transparent diagnosis. In a city of systemic predatory patterns, Dr. Anna Parham and the team at PetCare Express are a sanctuary of honesty. She is young, brilliant, and possesses a natural mastery of medicine that mirrors a virtuoso. Axel walked out a perfect patient, and I walked out knowing I have finally found the successor to the great legacy vets of Houston.

Having moved further south we have been in need of a new PCV (Primary Care Veterinarian,…read moretrademarked). It's rare that we have to go to the doctor outside of our annual vaccination visits, but as my kids are aging, it's important to get periodic checkups. After looking at reviews from nearby locations, we decided to give above and beyond a try. We brought Phoebe in for a split toenail that started bleeding a little bit. They took of care of her, and got her fixed up quickly. No fuss. Dalé (Dahl-ay) went in for a suspicious scab on her chin and an old dog checkup. And she came back with perfect test results and no lasting issues. At 13 my girl is doing fantastic. Throughout our visits, the staff have been fantastic from the front desk to the technicians to the veterinarians. Everyone has been very welcoming. The dogs have been very comfortable and everything was done with such great care. In addition to bail triage we've had shots, fine needle aspirations, and urine tests. There wasn't so much as a whimper out of them. Treats and cheese make them compliant. As we were going through questions and treatment options and things like that that we discussed cost so nothing was surprising as it came through. Very appreciative of the time taken to teach and understand everything. Highly recommend this practice. Check them out.

They did bloodwork and x-rays and gave her medicine for a slightly enlarged liver. I feel like I should've waited a few days because she was eating and drinking normally. Anyway, I know vets are expensive, but, there has to be a better way. It was tough walking out of there, knowing nothing was wrong with her after handing over that kind of money. Anyway, they are good vets, my sister loves them and they have taken good care of her dogs.

Less stress for everyone and the staff goes beyond. ------------ I really love this vet. My family recommended them when I moved to town and I haven't wanted my cats to see anyone else. Four main reasons: 1) I have three cats so getting to the vet is, well, literally like herding cats. Having a full service vet roll up to your door is incredibly handy for my pets' and my stress levels. I usually bring my cats out to their van, but they will come in from my understanding. 2) they are SO good at communication. If I have a concern, they are fast to respond. That being said, if they can fit me in their packed schedules, they will; if not, I'm not left in a pickle. They make every attempt to figure out how to support whatever my cats may have needed even if they can't get to me immediately (and they do triage and consult. Also appreciated) 3) they are flexible!! I'm ok with getting a window for them to visit, but also, if my cat magically heals itself (as they do), they have no problem when you tell them in advance that your animal no longer needs to be seen. 4) they are AFFORDABLE. Three cat annual visits have been CHEAPER with Rockin Pets Rollin Vets than when I've had one cat brought in at other places. They don't skimp on their customer service and level of care either; it exceed other locations. Give them a call. Your pet (and your anxiety) will thank you.

WARNING WARING do not bring your fur babies…read more I had a disappointing experience at this veterinary clinic. I did not plan to visit this location initially but groomer nicked my dog's paw, and my dog had an allergic reaction very badly to her chest to their products (my dog has never had previous allergies to anything) the groomer asked me to go get her examined and they would fully take care of the bill, Dr. Tran seemed unprofessional, particularly when discussing the bill, which was handled poorly. When the groomer clarified before arriving they would be covering the cost, I found it inappropriate for office staff to communicate anything to me about a bill. They did state my dog was nicked by the Clippers, and because it was "allergy season" they cannot specify if her chest irritation was from the products which it clearly was ,my dog was perfect before the Groomers her chest was flaming red after the Groomers. (New groomers , new products). Dr. Tran wanted me to pay 50% of the bill when I was only there because the groomer asked me to go and get my dog looked at and stated multiple times they would be covering all cost. Dr. Tran really tried to convince me that because they couldn't specify where her chest reaction came from (20 min after leaving groomer her reaction to her chest) I needed to pay 50% of the bill even though my dogs paw was clipped by the groomer. VERY UNNECESSARY CONVERSATION. I asked Tran if she had this conversation with the groomer yet , she said no. I said why are you talking to me about money before telling him your thoughts? He wanted me to come here and he was fully covering the bill, no matter what. During the examination, Dr. Tran was going to send us home with only medication for itching. While waiting for her to return to the room, I noticed my dog's leg was trembling and appeared to be in a lot of pain. I requested the doctor take a look at my dog's leg. Dr. Tran did not return to examine her further. Priscilla, who is not a veterinarian, acknowledged my concern and later provided pain medication for my dog. Unfortunately, my dog was not properly cared for during this visit. I had to bring her pain to their attention a second time, as she was clearly in distress. It appeared that Dr. Tran did not observe or address her discomfort directly. Despite noticing the trembling, she did not come back into the room to examine her leg herself, instead relying on the office manager to administer medication. Additionally, I felt that Dr. Tran was uncomfortable with me mentioning that another person was handling the payment. Which was discussed before the appointment. The clinic was paid, yet my dog's condition was not adequately assessed or addressed after the initial examination. Overall, I found the service to be unprofessional and lacking in compassion. If you truly care about your pets' well-being, I would recommend seeking care elsewhere.
