They absolutely so far have been the greatest and they love my puppy!!! If I have a question or concern, I can text them and they respond so quickly. Also, they give your puppy a pain relief shot first before any shots are giving. They explain all of this when you are with your puppy or dog. To distract them from the shots too, they provide them with either peanut butter or cheese. Love this vet and doctors!!!

I gave this vet over $1,000 since December and Dr. Cagle was unable and eventually unwilling to help my two sick dogs. They have a persistent cough and are both recovering from heartworms. After paying for x-rays and 5 different medications my dogs were still coughing. The vet's staff admitted to me that Dr. Cagle "had no clue" what was wrong with my dogs and it showed. He pumped them with drugs to see which one would stick. After asking for further medical advice for my two dogs, Dr. Cagle ignored my request to speak on the phone and would no longer attempt to help us stating he had " terminated this veterinarian-client-patient relationship". Dr. Cagle took personal offense to my frustration over the fact none of the medicines he prescribed helped my sick dogs. If you say anything to the Dr.Cagle that he does not like, he will terminate all communication with no consideration for your dogs health. Dr. Cagle was very unprofessional and I would not recommend taking your dogs here if they need competent care.

In case anyone doubts. If I could, I would give NEGATIVE five stars to these people and Dr. Cagle.

Unfortunately, it is deplorable poor, poor customer service. It's an embarrassment to have a need to be seen your pet and deal with such uncaring people. Just uncomfortable and unacceptable for they shouldn't even work with animals. I used to go there for over a year. But because in the last two appointments, I was late 17 min and no show, on the last one ( I called to reschedule, 24 min after the appointment ), Dr. Cagle terminated our relationship after charging a Non-show fee of $45 and refusing to see my sick pet because his staff assumed I hung up on them when the truth is we lost connection. I called again, and they have already decided to terminate our relationship based on their assumption. The argument was I took 20 min to call them back. The appointment was for another day anyway, so I had another call and needed to take it. It's simply ridiculous how they treat people there. After the unfortunate arguing about their assumption and refusing to let me talk to the Dr., They hung up on me. I texted them as my only option to speak to the Dr directly and resolve the miss assumption, and they said the Dr wouldn't talk to me about it. By the way, the Dr knows how long I have been keeping my pet under medication and having him be a "caring" Dr... I refuse to believe he took his staff's assumption and did not even want to speak to me. It's holidays, and my Dog is sick; why if "he is "caring" Dr. Cagle refuses to see my pet? Inhumane and lack of empathy for other people and animals. I had been mistreated before by his staff, but I understood the ignorance they carried and did not give importance. But today, they have shown how caring NOT they indeed are.

They were always knowledgeable, compassionate, and took the time to explain everything, helping me make the best decisions for his care. Last Friday, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to Charlie, and the kindness and compassion the entire staff showed meant more than I can express. They made such a difficult day as peaceful and comforting as possible. I especially want to recognize Bree, the vet tech, who went above and beyond with her empathy and genuine care. Her kindness helped ease one of the hardest moments I've ever experienced, and I'll never forget it. Thank you to everyone for treating Charlie with such love and dignity throughout his life and during his final moments. I will always be grateful for the exceptional care you provided. I wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary office to anyone looking for a team that truly cares about both their patients and the families who love them. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication are exceptional, and I wouldn't hesitate to trust them with the care of any pet.

Dr. Russell was wonderful, she really knows rabbits. She was caring and patient, and clearly explained all of our options and the drawbacks. When my rabbit's health deteriorated later, toward the end of his life, she was very gentle when helping me through the difficult decision of euthanasia. Also, the cremation package was lovely. The clinic staff is great, they're responsive and helpful. The office is clean, calm, and organized, even though they are very busy. The only remotely negative comment I can make is that their parking is very tight, but it's manageable. I would highly recommend this vet to care for your rabbit.

A Diagnostic Virtuoso: The "Mozart" of Veterinary Medicine…read more As a retired Clinical Director who has spent a career hiring and evaluating medical professionals, I have an exceptionally high standard for clinical competence and professional integrity. For months, I searched for answers for my 123-pound gentle giant, Axel. I took him to several well-known clinics in Houston, but regrettably, they failed to find even the single mass I had discovered myself. They simply fumbled the opening statement. Then, I found Dr. Anna Parham at PetCare Express on Holcombe Boulevard. Dr. Parham is a true prodigy of her craft. While others relied on expensive overhead and corporate checklists, she used her hands and her clinical intuition--the soul of medicine that is clearly in her DNA. Within minutes, she identified three separate masses that the previous clinics had entirely missed. She performed a single FNA (Fine Needle Aspiration) to confirm the nature of the primary mass, while her expert clinical touch immediately identified the others as typical, benign lipomas. She gave us the unremarkable exam result we had been searching for. From the moment we walked into PetCare Express, the entire staff was exceptionally warm, friendly, and helpful. In a high-pressure field, their genuine caring and support created a seamless, stress-free environment for both me and my dog. Dr. Parham found in minutes what high-priced hospitals missed for months. She recognized a client who values quality and met that standard with an honest, transparent diagnosis. In a city of systemic predatory patterns, Dr. Anna Parham and the team at PetCare Express are a sanctuary of honesty. She is young, brilliant, and possesses a natural mastery of medicine that mirrors a virtuoso. Axel walked out a perfect patient, and I walked out knowing I have finally found the successor to the great legacy vets of Houston.

Dog is needing surgical services and like any animal owner I'd like to know a range of pricing to understand where I'm going to land. Not an exact number but a nice range with a high degree of variability. That isn't the policy here. They immediately try to schedule an appt for a "consultation" and tell you you HAVE to pay a $50 deposit for this great honor, apparently. I told her before I commit to an appt I'm trying to see between them, blue pearl, and other facilities that are through our rescue network. She said verbatim "legally I cannot disclose pricing that's a conversation after you pay your deposit and have the consultation with your doctor". What? Are you kidding me? This tells me a few things, their pricing is astronomical and they try to lock you into surgery or lose your deposit. And they can't be trusted. If you have this shroud of secrecy around a range of pricing, then you aren't who I want to consider doing business with. These people have gotten too big for their britches. I'm looking elsewhere.
