Looking for window tinting or PPF (paint protection film for the noobies, it protects your car's paint from little pebbles, bird poop, etc.)? This humble shop has got you literally covered! They have different colors of PPF wraps (so you can change the color of your car too instead of a clear film!) including matte colors. Our friends went to other places and had their taillights broken, decals placed out of alignment, and suffered through some other headaches. Although those are usually relatively easily fixable, I expect a higher quality job after dishing out $$ for PPF services. We've had a couple of cars worked on over the years, and compared to some other more popular places that churn out their numbers, the William, Josue, and their team at Houston PPF do a great job and are more responsible in terms of fixing anything (even tiny bubbles) that you're unhappy with without question. I got my own car covered with PPF + tinted windows more than a year ago and I'm super happy with the job! There were some tiny bubbles on pickup but after the car baked in the sun for a week, they resolved. I also noticed a few tiny spots that could be improved where the PPF wasn't sticking so well, and they redid it with smiles and professionalism. Awesome! You can bring your entire car or just parts (diffusers, spoilers, etc) to get protected. Just to note-- emails aren't their thing-- they are more responsive to instagram messages! And if you have a lower car, watch out when turning into their slightly angled driveway! The team there is awesome! Really respect them for their work ethic and quality work. When my buddy (car enthusiast) told me to come to Houston PPF to get window tint done on my Tesla Model 3, I did not hesitate. Made an appointment with Josue for a Thursday 10am drop off time. I drove 4 hours from Dallas and so glad I did. He looked over my car and carefully explained to me his process. I could tell he knew what he was doing. As he answered my questions regarding the installation procedure and the quality of the tint. And also the legal issue with law enforcement and how it can enhance the look of my car. But most importantly, the health benefit of not being exposed to UV lights on my skin. I went and ate lunch. It took him about 5 hours to complete the job. Very understandable, as the Model 3 got a glass roof. I didn't said anything, but he is such a perfectionist, that he knock off a few bucks for taking too long. Who does this?!? Most guys want to take money away from me and here is Josue giving me a discount. That is the character of this business owner. The car turned out awesome. When driving back to Dallas (3pm), I could feel the car being cooler. I only wished I got my PPF done here too. But driving on the highway from Dallas to Houston would be too much of a risk for rock and shit to hit my car. Which would have happened as there were constructions everywhere. Since I got to Houston I've been looking for a Tint shop that does excellent work. I've been around tints for 25 years and I know how to tell quality and I'm very glad I found Houston PPF. They are very professional and it matches the quality of service. The main goal when looking for a Tint Shop is Quality installation and all their cutting machine is top notch. This is not your ordinary $150 Tint job where it turns purple in a year. The Tint I used is the Xpel XR Plus. The best part of it all is I asked if he can tint my taillights and I brought him my own specific film i use to smoke out all the rear reflectors and side markers and he did a great job. Josue is your guy if you're looking for a place that provides excellent customer service and the best price in Houston. His shop is extremely clean and is conveniently located in town. I've used Houston PPF for all of my cars, and I can't say enough great things about Josue. He's upfront with his pricing and never charges a penny more than he quotes you for. I've had Xpel PPF on my past two Mercedes, and both times it paid off in preventing chips from highway debris. As my family grew, I bought a minivan, a Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid. I'm almost embarrassed to say that I treasure it more than my other sporty cars. For my past vehicles, I went to another authorized Xpel PPF installer in North Houston. They were great, but this time, I chose Houston PPF because they are closer to my home and also open on Saturdays. I consider myself very picky, and I found their PPF installation to be top notch. They handled tough curves and recesses perfectly. I have no hesitation returning to them for PPF. They also installed Suntek tint on my front windows - also without blemishes. Josue and William were patient and sincere, overall a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them. Unfortunately, after owning the minivan for less than one month, I underestimated the length of the car and had a run-in with the garage door. My minivan was sticking out 1", and the garage door scraped against the bumper and also caught the lip of the front spoiler. When I initially inspected the damage, I thought my bumper and spoiler had to be repainted. But after using soap and water, I discovered that the paint was from the garage door. The bumper (and film!) was undamaged. However, the garage door rubbed through the PPF on the spoiler, since it sticks out farther. Again, I thought the car paint was damaged, but nope. The adhesive from the PPF acted like a lubricant and spared the paint. Because the film is installed in sections, only a small strip needs to be replaced. Over time, with plenty of debris on Houston highways, you will appreciate having PPF. This time around, I appreciate having it the first month of owning the car. read more

Josue & William (brothers) run this business. I just had them remove the old film from my 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, and (after paint correction from Active Auto Detailing) install new film on the entire car. Their work was simply OUTSTANDING at all steps. They really care about the finished product and the results show that. They coordinated very well with Brent from Active Detailing, and the finished product is simply amazing - it looks better than the day rolled out of the factory. Their attention to detail is simply amazing, with all seams hidden by wrapping to the inside of the doors, and even removing the head & tail lights to hide the edges of the film. Their communication and explanation of the process was outstanding.
