Came here at the beginning of the season to check them out for the first time. There wasn't really a wait since it was opening night and so we were able to breeze through. The overall haunted house I felt was a bit cheesy, and not very scary. It's a good place to take kids though if you're looking for something a little more on the light side in terms of scare factor. I did enjoy that they have a selfie section set up with all kinds of cool props. I did also enjoy the axe throwing, zombie brain toss mini game, and zombie paintball activity. They have a Halloween store right next door as well, so you can also check that out while you're there and pricing is pretty decent there. Overall, I don't think I'd come here again as I prefer something scarier, but good place if you are looking for a family night out. read more

I wish I could leave 0 stars. Paid $150 for 8 people to come under the BOGO advertisement just for it to be an absolute scam. We got to the gate and were told we have to spend $120 more to actually get everyone in because the BOGO doesn't work as advertised. We drove 40 minutes so we went ahead and went in and it was NOT worth it. We spent 15 minutes under a tent listening to a cheap recorded backstory and safety rules on the haunted house, just to finally go in and it took literally less than 10 minutes to get through. With eight people. Not one of us was spooked, it's just people in masks screaming "AHH!". Horrible. Paid way extra for a VIP fast pass that we didn't need because it was completely empty (wonder why). Paid for the combo tickets for mini games to be told we can only play one of the three total that they have. Paid for a pumpkin patch game just to be told "yeah the pumpkins aren't actually here yet so you can't play that, but come back with the ticket next week and we might have them ready". Paid extra for paintball and even the attendant said, and I QUOTE, "yeah, I'm surprised y'all got the combo tickets. This shit ain't worth it" and laughed. They were right. The drinks are expensive and very limited. I literally can't think of one good thing to say about this experience. We didn't even do the axe throwing we all paid for because we just wanted to leave so bad after that horrible and embarrassing time. We left and everyone kept apologizing to me for having paid over $200 for a terrible experience and no refunds whatsoever. Had way more fun in a dive bar 10 minutes up the road than any of us had in the 1.5hrs we were there. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. read more

Houston Terror Dome was amazing! My family and our twins baseball team had so much fun at this haunted house last night. My favorite part was the 3D and the ending. The haunted house was so detailed and the actors looked so scary that it was hard to tell between the actors and the props, they looked so real Their makeup looked so good. There is so much to do... including paintball, axe throwing, an escape room, games and many areas to take pictures including a pumpkin patch. I highly recommend you go check it out. They opened at 7pm but were not ready to begin letting people in so a guy ( maybe the owner) gave us tickets to the zombie brain toss game. I figured a Tuesday night would be a slower night to go. It was. I purchased the package that includes the paintball shooting gallery. $28 and had a coupon that took $5 off per person. The haunted house was a good time. Great maze that was very disorienting tons of sensory distractions that keep you off balance. A 3D section where you wear 3D glasses was fun. And the actors were all having a great time scaring us. The best part was the trio of Leatherfaces at the end with real chainsaws. The paintball arcade was fun, you get 120 balls that last for days. The haunted house is fun and classic, but it left behind a very very bad taste. This place is shady AF and if I had kids would never let them come. I'm writing this review so whoever runs this can be aware (or who knows, likely the owners are in on it) that there is a carnival game at this place that is ILLEGAL in this country because it is outright dirty GAMBLING SCAM and people are been reported to have lost $30,000 in this " carnival game"- the game is basically a version of the Razzle Dazzle game that again is ILLEGAL IN AMERICA. I literally watch an older couple get scammed out of thousands of dollars - it was so so so sad... I wanted to say something but they looked so invested and desperate to win some of their money back. My boyfriend and I were drinking beer and a little buzzed and got scammed out of hundreds of dollars in a matter of minutes. We only snapped out of it because a young lady pulled me aside to tell me she lost over $1000 playing this "game". It was so sad to watch people lose large sums of money in literally a few minutes- the older couple lost at least $2000 playing this game after realizing they were fools and we helplessly watched them lose their life savings. They placed the ATM machine right next to it and I saw people go there several times until their bank account was dry. WORST HAUNTED HOUSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I went to this haunted house on opening night with my boyfriend due to the good ratings online. We purchased our tickets after waiting in line for 30 MINUTES, then were forced to wait in line under a-tent with NO VENTILATION for 1.5 HOURS before we were finally let into the haunted house. There was a terrible method for allowing guest through ,as the "fast pass" holders were continually let through, forcing everyone else to wait even longer. I wish I knew that before I purchased my tickets. It was 96 DEGREES FARENHEIGHT under the small tent and we were crammed next to at least 50 other people while night club dance music was blasted from speakers RIGHT NEXT TO EVERYONE as loud as possible. The "zombie dancers" Were sweating like crazy and trying not to pass out under the hot tent with hot lights hanging above. In addition to being forced into a sauna in the Texas heat, being overcrowded, ear drums blown out, and waiting for hours, the cherry on top was when PESTICIDES were continually sprayed into the crowd underneath the edges of the tent. The pesticides BURNED MY EYES AND MADE IT HARD TO BREATHE. If I knew this would be my experience at this haunted house, I NEVER WOULD HAVE GONE. When we got there it wasn't scary on the outside. The decorations were poor to me. They had 2 girls on the stage dancing the whole time while we were in line. We waited in line for an hour before we were able to go into the haunted house. The haunted house wasn't more than 5-10 minutes. It's hard to scare me so nothing in there way scary. I could see where people were coming out and the Actors would respond back to me when I said something to them. If you're easy to scare then this is for you but if you're a tough blood. I've been going to Haunted houses for 30+ years. This was by far the best one. The actors were very engaging and interactive both inside and out. Loved the dj ! Played awesome music while gogo dancers danced. We took pics with them. The makeup was the best I've seen, not cheesy cheap plastic masks crap. They sell snacks, soda and water $1.50-2 . They had a couple of fun games outside as well, $3 only to play, sitting area. They gave out free tix for the games for people who would get on stage and dance. Loved the girl pushing the ugly baby in stroller! I won't give out details on inside, but will say that it had stuff I've never seen before, exceptionally creative! Rated #6 in Top 10 in Texas. I came here this past October looking to get my pants scared off of me and have a good time. I didn't expect too much, but I was pleasantly surprised. You buy your tickets at the costume shop right next to the haunted house. There was plenty of free parking right next to the shop. We also spent a few minutes looking at the decorations and costumes in the costume shop after going through the house. Tickets are $20, $30 for VIP to avoid the line and go in more than once. However, the line wasn't long when we went on a Saturday night in late October. It took about 10 minutes to get through it. While we were waiting they had zombie gogo dancers and a live DJ. Not sure why they have these dancers when there were plenty of kids around, but I guess some people enjoy it. The place looks pretty tiny from the outside compared to the massive space that Screamworld and Phobia have, but don't be fooled. The actual house took a good length of time. They have all the typical things most haunted house goers have seen before, but maybe not all in one haunted house: a section where you where 3D glasses, chainsaw finale, clowns, a spinning tunnel bridge, etc. I don't get scared too easily, but I will admit that I was screamed many times. I went to screamfest a couple weeks ago and it was so lame... and that's saying a lot because I'm easily scared. There were different things to do there but I'm more about quality over quantity. So I went home and did my research. Houston Terror Dome was rated #1 scariest haunted house in Houston. I tried it out the Wednesday before Halloween thinking it would be packed. The guy at the front told me it won't get packed until the weekends. There was no one in line at all so I was thinking that maybe it wasn't going to be good at all. They proved me wrong! I was freaking terrified the entire time. The props are ridiculously good. I am scared of clowns and they definitely extended my fear of clowns. How scared? I ran from a clown behind me in a complete panic and literally ran into a wall. The walk through was long too. When I figured we had made it to the end, there was more and more to go through. You definitely get more bang for your buck here for only $20. All the actors are so professional too. Go here! I know it's a bit out of the way but just go and you won't regret it. read more

Look at the paintball session before you PAY, it looks like a waste of money. I had the most amazing time leading up to the haunted house with all the music, and chit chatter with random strangers. The reason why I'm giving it a two star is because they send you in by groups and I didn't realize that they didn't give us a suffice amount of time to wait for the group before us to get halfway through the house before sending us in. So while we were in the house, once we walked into the next room the workers were still following and scaring the group before us and we didn't get boo'ed the way we should have (they literally just looked at us.. and walked by to get back into position). Some rooms were completely empty. Just make sure you tell the person that will collect your groups tickets ..before you go in that you would like to wait an extra five more minutes. It really sucked I mean I drove over an hour to get there and halfway through the house the workers weren't prepared to scare my group, or the group behind ours. BTW, we did try to stall and stay in one room so the workers would get back into position, BUT the group that came in after us caught up with us. So in the end... they just need to provide more time for the groups before they send the next one in. It was 11 and we wanted to go to a haunted house. But most haunted houses close at 12 so we just chose which ever was close to us. Horror dome came up and though we never heard of it ... It had good reviews so we thought we would give it a try. When we got there it looked really small and there wasn't many people so we almost left. But for some reason decided to stay. I went on a Saturday night so there was a DJ outside which is cool for waiting in line to have some music to make it go faster. We were in line about 6 minutes. To our surprise it turned out great.! BEST HAUNTED HOUSE IN HOUSTON! I've been visiting almost every haunted house that I can, because I've been trying to find the best. The only one that gets close to being as good as this one is Creepy Hallow. And even that one doesn't amount to this. I don't scream and usually do my best to stay calm, but when I say my boyfriend and my cousin (both guys obviously) were screaming and terrified, I mean it! The effects and the details they have are amazing! It's like being in a real horror movie. The actors are so into it, it feels real. I won't say too much because I don't want to spoil it, but trust me, it's so worth it! If you go, be ready to go home with shaky legs and a sore throat. Fun! I loved their 3D maze part, very creative. Another fun part was the super dark tunnel. Overall good experience. It's 10-15 mins long. I recommend trying to go on a weekday when it's not that busy. It's worth an hour of waiting but not any longer. Don't buy the paintball, it's a scam. The GFF and I have a goal , to visit every Haunted House in Greater Houston . Here's our conquered list thus far 1. Kemah Board Walk Dungeon of Doom , 2. Rosharon's Creepy Hollow , 3. Studewood's Nightmare on the Bayou, 4.North Houston's ScreamWolrd 5.Houston Scream fest off of 45 south and Edgebrook. Experienced Opinion : This past Saturday we went to the Houston Terrord Dome Haunted House in Channelview , TX . The Terror Dome is run by the same people that run "Spookers Halloween Superstores" you know one of those seasonal Halloween stores people go to for costumes and Halloween home decorations. The Terror dome is located right behind the Spookers super store in East side Houston off of I-10. It looks to be an old one story aparment building, which I particualry thought this was very promising. I thought about the other places we have went to that our long paths covered by tents and tarps or long conected hauling trailers annexed into "haunted houses" . This place was actually an apartment building ! So the tickets are $20 , dont bother paying extra $10 for vip (to avoid long lines) if you get there around 7pm there is no line . I would highly recomend you bathe in bug spray before getting off the car, apparently Channelview is mosquito infested metropolis . So they make you wait a little bit before letting you inside after 7pm , im guessing some of the acttors were still getting into positions , make up and costumes . One of spooks at the door wasnt very scary but very nice - he looked like Joker from batman and another guy looked like one of the villans from House of a thousand corpses , what killed it for me was when people would ask to take pictures with them they would fall out of character. It totally defrauded the illusion we were there to see (lol paradox!) . Falling out of character to take pictures with people was totally disapointing. Ok so the time came to go in , we followed a family of three - Dad and his young son and daughter ( I think the dad was on something ...) . We immediatley encountered an actor dressed as the DEVIL ! he was terrifying ...even as he explained the rules "no pictures, no recording, no touching the actors, no crying , no running back in reverse" lol he was really good. Im not sure if my GFF Amber got any entertainment out of this for our money because she kept her pretty little head hidden under my arm through the entire walk . I liked it , there was little midget dressed liked a character from the hit American Horror Story series "FREAK SHOW" that almost made me piss my pants ... just when I was really starting to get scared ... EXIT SIGN appears above our heads ... I could hear a couple of texas chain saw massacre guys starting up the fuel powered chainsaws outside ready to "chase us out" . FAIL number one , too short of a walk and FAIL number two - Texas Chainsaw finale is over done by almost ALL haunted houses in Houston... time for a new ending idea people ! We really enjoyed this haunted house, we highly reccomend it. For the claustrophobic people be aware that there is a really tight and semi-blind passage toward the end of the tour that could create a bit of panic. PROS: It is really scary! (actors are so professional), free parking, free pictures and no long wait if you go before 8:30 PM. CONS: The tour lasted less than 15 minutes (make the experience longer!) this was soooo fun bro the people who walked around to like idk help they talked to us and they were so nice. this was soooo scary i would really recommend going with friends or a big group. i did not look the whole time but on the parts i did look it was so interesting i saw a green room with smoke in it then i closed my eyes and i also say a red room with hanging baby heads i think pretty sick and cool then i saw a long narrow spiral walk thingy that was also cool. and at the end if u want a spoiler then read on....... the clown chased us out of there with a chainsaw so ya know that was dope i thought i was gonna ya know..... die but um i didn't so thanks. nice place lol. read more

I was happily surprised. I am a horror junkie and love haunted houses. I saw there was no line which through me off but they had very good scares and very creative sets. I had noodle legs by the end of it and loved the creativity and great actors. Only drawback was it seemed a bit short but they are the new kids on the block. Worth the trip! read more
