Instead I took down the sign, stopped all showings, waited for my contract with him to expire (he wouldn't let me out of it, not neighborly) and relisted with another agency at a higher price. It sold for $30,000 more than than Joe told me it was worth. Joe lists and lets others sell. His interest is in getting a seller to cut the price for a quick sale. If you want someone who has your back, you don't want Joe. If you want to sell your house fast and cheap, you don't need Joe.

Beautiful home, but substandard renovations on what is clearly a hasty, poorly managed flip in which Mr. Lindsay holds a financial interest. Instead of politely declining or providing a counter, we were told "Do not delude yourself into thinking this is a starting point. I have no counter and all but zero interest in your client." We were shocked at this level of unprofessionalism and blatant rudeness. Beware if you work with this man. In further researching Mr. Lindsay, he has a clear history of overpricing homes along with questionable ethics and conduct. After forgetting an open house he had scheduled with me we had one showing. He then started harassing us to lower price over and over again and said it was our fault it wasn't selling . When I refused at one time he hung up!
