What stood out most, however, was the woman at the front desk, who I believe may have been the property manager. She made us feel genuinely welcome during a difficult afternoon and went above and beyond to help us in ways she certainly didn't have to. It's her exceptional customer service that prompted me to write this review. Thank you for making an unexpected stop feel a little more like home.

She wasn't polite or nice and she rolled her eyes when I asked to use the restroom before I checked in. My family and I drove 4 hours straight before agreeing to start fresh in the morning to drive on vacation. We had booked online with Trivago who assists people to book online. The nice lady took my info and said it was booked. Quote the contrary when we arrived and the call center was closed. Bernice Very Snottily said that there was No reservation booked for us and how we would have all these other Fees and charges. When I mentioned our experience with the third party, she said she wouldn't Accept that. I was exhausted. My mother was exhausted and my husband was just in pain from sitting so long. I needed to get us all into bed. We decided to check with Motel 6, we spoke immediately with a polite young man named Dylan and he helped us out with booking a room and we also got a great rate under AARP! Thank God! We won't stay anywhere else. This was a great experience with Dylan and Motel 6. Thank you, Dylan!

You can't tell what's been cleaned case everything is old and worn. Especially the linens and bedding. Most of your roach motels would be an upgrade. Never received a call back from the owner regarding a refund for the night we ran from this place.

The building is clean and crisp throughout. Beautifully decorated. The room is spacious. And that jetted tub soothes away achy traveling muscles. Next, the big comfy bed swallows you up into a cocoon of comfort. I slept like a baby. Breakfast was simple but delicious. An unexpected highlight was the TLC and attention to detail provided to the guest by the incomparable Jody. She's phenomenal. I had the immediate sense of her kindness and compassion. This was a late check-in and I found I needed to unwind from the road. No way I could sleep. Yet. So we chatted just a bit. It was like one of those 'seeing an old friend and catching up' moments. People just actually listening. Two-way. I picked this hotel on the fly. Spontaneously. Something I LOVE to do! Location isn't ideal to Knoebels, however it is to Bloomburg restaurants/the college, and also by Turkey Hill brewery which is great for food (pro tip). Would definitely stay here again.
