Sadly, the prescription that I use for my dry eyes is VERY expensive ($250) but the eye drs always write up the prior authorization so the insurance will pay. Well, I called FIVE times last week and left messages bc no one was calling back. They ignored my calls every time. I spoke to Miranda who could have cared LESS! I did MY job, I made the appointment and showed up on time and paid my bill. This office has NO CARE to do THEIR job-to return a phone call and fill out the paperwork! I am so disheartened and frustrated! If there was ONE light at the end of the tunnel, I was able to get a hold of a different office in Deep River. There is a LOVELY lady named Donna who actually answered the phone (shocker) and called CVS and called me back to follow up. The problem still is not solved, but having someone in the office that gets back to me is a huge win. I am hoping to get this problem solved. :(

When I flinched and told him it hurt, he told me to "get back here" and said it didn't hurt (as if he would know). I found this to be rude and completely uncalled for. He also referred to the great staff at the front desk as "girls" which is not appropriate. Yuck, Yuck!

Dr. Nhu-Y T. Dao MD was the ophthalmologist that I saw and I can't recommend her highly enough. I…read morehad a temporary lessening of vision due to a Prednisone sensitivity. She explained it so that I was not so worried. She did an excellent eye exam and, rather than giving me glasses right away had me come back for a followup exam to make sure the medication was out of my system and that my eyes had stopped changing. We discussed the amount of correction (something I have never had anyone willing to do before) and I chose not to be corrected all the way to 20/20 so that I would not need bifocals to see my dashboard when I drive. My eye exam was on 6/18 and my I picked up my glasses on 6/21. To my delight they are perfect. Having been given incorrect lenses before, I was pleased that there will be no need to return for corrections, or complaints. I can't recommend Dr. Dao highly enough. As someone who works in a field related to vision I am extremely impressed with the service I received from her and from the Eye Care Group.

After purchasing an $1100 pair of glasses and told they were ready for puck up, he had no time for me. I waited 15 minutes, asked if he could make a minor adjustment for size and he said no, he was too busy, I should take a seat and wait. It was not so much WHAT he said, but the way in which he quickly dispatched me which O found offensive. I rarely, if ever, write reviews like this, BTW. Very disappointing. Will take my purchases somewhere else, if still seeing Dr Elgart.

I know I do (I pay for it each month) and so made some phone calls to ensure I was still covered. When I came back to the desk the secretary and I were talking just to clarify the issue. During our conversation I could hear Dr. Rubsam answering my questions, but from what I assume was his office? I couldn't see him ... he was in another room... I'm not sure if he knew I could hear him? Ultimately the secretary told me that Dr. Rubsam did not take my insurance - no problem! I understand our health care system doesn't always work the way we expect. I was willing to pay out of pocket the $175 for the appointment. When I asked if I could still be seen today I heard from Dr. Rubsam in his office again who was screaming "NO!! GOODBYE!!" - I wish I was exaggerating... I can't believe that a medical professional would treat someone like this - I was not rude or aggressive. I was just asking questions. Ultimately, I'm glad they do not take my insurance and was not seen by this individual who did not have the decency to even come out of his office to speak with him but instead scream GOODBYE from behind a wall. I have previously worked in doctor's office. I couldn't imagine a professional person acting like this. I would not recommend Dr. Rubsam as his "bed side manner" is deplorable.

Years ago I had an accident which was above my eye it causes me a lot of anxiety when I go for my yearly visit. From the minute I walk through the door Janet, Danielle and Lindsey are not only friendly, but professional and competent. I can't say enough about Kelli and her staff except I would travel from anywhere to go to this office. I've never had an issue with being treated with anything but kindness. I once was fit into an appointment last minute due to an unexpected eye issue. When our son decided to move from glasses to contacts Kelli advised him and guided him until he had the right fit. Eventually as he got older she recommended a top notch surgeon because he no longer wanted to deal with contacts. I would and will continue to recommend Dr Kelli and her staff to anyone needing a great optometrist. Patients for life.
