When I brought it to the clerks attention both times they had to do price checks and did fix it but with no apology and it seemed they did not care. People work hard for their money and don't like things like this!

Going to another store in the area brought us to Cabela's to waste some time. Anything outdoors wise and hunting/fishing it is a solid option. Likely paying more than some other avenues of buying the items, but maybe you can get lucky with a sale. They have staff as soon as you enter trying to sell you on being a member and what not, annoying but can walk past them. It was nice enough to browse for awhile and waste time. Despite not being the largest Cabela's it is still very large. Also for yourself or if you have young ones seeing the animal displays is a great reason to stop by as well. I suspect the quality here has gone down in some part back when Bass Pro Shops acquired Cabela's considering they were the biggest competition of each other. Leading to a worse deal for us the consumers. Potential to be a favorite store for some!

I was shopping for my other 1/2 who loves Hawaiian style shirts. One of the staff was in the area, he assisted in my finding the perfect shirts & I bought him shorts plus a few other ditties. The gentleman in glass wear assisted in tightening my sunglasses & kindly cleaned them. The guy in menswear was more than helpful. The checkout pro heard a big crash when I was pulling gear out of my cart at his register. Those big candles make a thunderous noise. Oops. He was super cool & I was checked out quickly. I will return to add their names. All 3 deserve kudos for their professionalism & kind temperament. They are a +plus+ for Cabela's!! I'm sure they've some doozies which in fact happened to me at a 2nd visit. I saw a very young female in an outfit made more for "street-walking" opposed to Cabela's outfitters. Wearing a barely there outfit leaving too much hanging around with a pair of 4" pumps teetering through the aisles wasn't working. If the fit was more fitting all the more power. The grounds are immaculately kept and pet friendly. Aaron and Russ were very experienced in their knowledge about all of the products for sale. My son had lots of questions and we were there over an hour. Other customers came as well and they were patient and attentive. My son purchased a kayak, paddles and paid a small fee to have a rack installed to drive it home. (See pic) They had a lot of tips to share and were very enthusiastic to share them. A side note I went there a few years ago for snowmobile gear and it was the same experience. Some things are ridiculously overpriced (Internet search!), and I willingly paid... because I wanted to. Many of the quality items, IYKYK, are completely worth it because you'll own them for life. They have a lot of great perennials in 2 inch cups for $2.00 which can't be beat...included lupines, various sedums, lavender, rosemary, etc. Their lettuce looked picture perfect. Friendly staff. Seasonal store and usually opens again around Christmas and sells trees, and these cute greenery gnomes. They sell a variety of soils, compost, etc. Sorry my pics weren't better, they were more plant descriptions of a few I bought

good will goods, by the pound! if you're willing to spend some time here, there's really good…read morestuff to be had on the *super* cheap. basically, everything is in these shallow bins that are raised up off the floor. and you root around in the bins to see what treasures you can find! the goods are roughly categorized (most shoes in one place, etc). the website shows the pricing breakdown... clothes are around $1.50/lb, some stuff is individually priced (cooking pans, 25 cents!). as the bins get emptied out, employees will come along, tell everyone to move back, remove some bins, replace them, and then everyone really goes to it! good fun. and a good deal. just plan to spend some time searching for what's good, rather than looking for a specific item. it's not that kinda good will. sometimes there's certain stuff, like furniture (recently, each piece was a Dollar. that's right, $1), then sometimes there's not. fyi, they actually *weigh* your entire cart, then deduct the weight of the cart. i was impressed, i hope you will be, too.
