Howey Industries was one of 3 dealers I found when I was in search of Strasse Wheels. Howey also gave me the best price out of the 3. I noticed the variety of wheel brands Howey Industries carried so I inquired about 4 o them. Paul was quick and prompt when responding to my emails. Often times within at least a 24 hour time frame. I ended up going with Strasse R10 Deep Concave wheels in a brushed titanium center, polished aluminum outer lip, and gloss black inner barrels. Paul gave me the best deal. The price range was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I put down a deposit and was told a 4 week lead time. After 3 weeks, I inquired about status to see if my wheels had passed the design phase. Paul called the manufacturer and responded to me when he got information and stated that they did pass the design phase and would be entering manufacturing. He also stated that the 4 week lead time is still on schedule. After week 4, I called to inquire status because my wheels had not arrived yet.There were a few times where I would go about 2 days before ever getting a response. Therefore, I would call and ask about the status of my wheels again. Paul stated that he was waiting to hear back from the manufacturer. On week 7 or 8, I called again to get status. At this point my wheels were ready to ship. All I had to do was pay the remaining balance. Paul stated that there was a delay in the powder coating process. The powder coat required for my wheel finish was gone and more had to be ordered in. This is why my wheels were delayed by almost 4 weeks. A few days after I paid the balance, my wheels arrived 3 days later. For the price, I was very happy with the wheels. The engineering on the spokes were simple and not complex. Just what I was looking for. I had a specific price range and style I was looking for and Strasse Forged Wheels and Howey Industries helped me achieve that. I had been on the same wheels and had the same look for nearly a decade. I needed something to rejuvenate the look on my car so I looked to Howey Industries to purchase a set of Strasse R10 Deep Concave wheels. Needless to say, I have a new found love for my vehicle. I've worked with this company on several builds & can't say enough about their wonderful customer service. I've purchased Velgen's, Forgestar's & my husband got some HRE's for his Audi R8 from them. We always speak to Paul because his knowledge on cars/fitments is extremely impressive. When buying my first set of after-market wheels for my 350Z years ago, he was kind & very patient with me (which is saying a lot in this industry). Now with every new car we buy, I trust them to handle our custom wheel needs (and we are serious car people!). Also, I see a previous 1 star review on here that is obviously complete BS, because ask anyone who knows Paul in the industry or is a real customer of Howey Industries & they will have nothing but great things to say about their experience. Each wheel manufacture HI sells has different lead times, so just bare that in mind when placing an order.. Most of everything they sell is custom built to your exact car. Sometimes it's hard to wait to get custom wheels but when you do get them you understand why the time it took was totally worth it.. to have such a flush, beautiful set up on your car! First off, Google this company and you'll find the first page of results yields not 1, but 2 ripoff reports. I ordered forgestar f14s almost 2 YEARS ago from Howey Industries. Never got the wheels or refund.. just lame excuses and lies. This company is NOT managed well, will not follow up when there are issues, and will tell you anything just to shut you up when you ask for updates. Here's a timeline of what I've gone through since 2016 April 28 2016 - ordered wheels from Howey Industries July 19 2016 - emailed howey industries about update on order July 21 2016 - HI replies that wheels are still in production October 26, 2016 - Ask again for another update. I'm told they are on backorder and are expected to arrive at howey industries later that week March 19, 2017 - i email yet again asking for an update. Customer service is clearly non existent with this company March 20 2017 - I'm told by HI that forgestar is experiencing major inventory issues with the blanks and that it would again be another 2-3 weeks May 1 2017- howey industries emails to now tell me that THE WHEELS I ORDERED WILL NOT FIT MY CAR. This is after I had THEM advise me on an offset that will fit my car, so THEIR mistake May 7 2017 - i finally ask for my order to be cancelled and a full refund May 17 2017 - still no email back from HI about my refund, so I email again. They respond asking for c.c info since I used a card that was no longer valid June 9 2017 - emailed info to howey industries June 15 2017- HI responds saying they issued refund that day and should be in account in 5-7 days June 28 2017 - still haven't received refund. Contact HI for update July 5 2017 - No response from HI, so I email again for an update July 6 2017 - HI emails saying the refund was issued on June 10 (even though they said earlier they issued it June 15?) I went to my bank, called them etc and the refund was 100% not given. My bank tells me to speak to HI about an issue on their end. July 12 2017 - YET again. I'm asking where my refund is to HI July 13 2017 - HI says they're opening an investigation with their processor to "track down the funds" September 6 2017 - STILL NO REFUND. I email AGAIN for an update. HI emails back saying to contact my card issuer to do a retrieval investigation because the transaction is now over a year old. AGAIN I contact my bank and they are 10000% sure that no money has been refunded. October 7 2017- again I contact HI about not getting the refund. Like seriously? October 27th - HI sends an email saying they will open another ticket with their processor to investigate the transaction path again, and will email me as soon as they find out That was the last they contacted me.  It's insane that this company is still in business with the extreme lack of customer service and communication. I work in the automotive industry and I will deffinitly make sure no one i know has to go through this with Howey Industries. BUYER BEWARE. read more

I ordered Forgestar wheels (CF5s) in early 2018 via Paul and he provided outstanding customer service and support from beginning to end. Forgestar is not exactly the most transparent to work with in obtaining custom-offset wheels--I learned this the first time I ordered wheels from Forgestar from another vendor, and THAT experience was not great--and Paul cheerfully responded to my repeated requests for status updates immediately (within one business day). The price with shipping included via Howey Industries for my 18" x 12" deep concave CF5 wheels with textured black finish was better than from the other Forgestar retailers I checked too. read more

Paul convinced me that he would be the best source for my forgestar wheels. March 8 2015 ordered deposited $$ called Paul on five seperate occasions and did not get the same nice treatment as day one. Simple questions and excited to keep me in the loop on how my wheels were coming along. June 15 2015 Monday " hey Paul hope alls good we're getting close, any possibility wheels for Father's Day car show? NO WAY. Call me Monday. Called Paul " you call too much dude you need to wait like 100 other people do. " sorry it's f*** Monday. I asked Paul about ethics as I am a business owner myself. How will you handle a service call if the need presented itself. Paul " I'm done f*** dealing with you dude! I'm just going to refund your money.".Paul canceled my order via email notification and no credit as of yet. I contacted the Factory Vince the owner first class organization! Do NOT do business with these guys! I am a car collector and buy lots of wheels annually. I ordered a set of brixton forged wheels on 8/30/16. I was told 4 weeks for delivery as it states on my invoice. Well 4 weeks turned into 12 weeks. Then when they finally show up the wheels don't fit! They hit the fenders and the tpms hit the a arm. I called Paul at Howey Industries and was told that I own them and there are no returns. I have since got our company attorney involved. I have tried shipping the wheels back and they have rejected them. I am warning anyone that is reading this shop elsewhere! read more
