Since it took three days, they offered me a free loaner. All said and done, my battery was fixed (for free), they recommended a charger, and loaned me a battery all covered under their interstate warranty. I'll be buying all future batteries from there!

I have been purchasing batteries and supplies from this location for the last 15 years. This time I purchased $700 worth of motorhome Batteries. Interstate Batteries had taken my previous batteries and had them tested to advise me on whether or not they were still a good battery. They had informed me that all for batteries were dead and I needed to purchase new ones. After purchasing 4 new ones I drove to my campsite only to find out that they did not give me back my battery cable post caps Which secure the cable to the post. Needless to say my entire weekend was ruined. When I left a message regarding the missing items from my old batteries nobody returned a phone call. I showed up two days later and was confronted by the owner's son approached me with the I don't give a shit attitude towards me. He did not like the Fact I left a heated message on his business phone. He also didn't like the fact I raised my voice due to the lack of his care. His exact words were and I "you should of removed those items before giving us The battery. The fact that it was my responsibility to make sure all of the cables and Nuts were removed from the old Battery. He didn't care about the fact that he took all 4 batteries from me to test them to see whether or not they were still good. I now will question the fact on whether or not the $700 in new batteries I purchased were truly something I needed. I guess I'll never know for sure. The one thing I know for sure I will never conducts business at that location again. I'm dumbfounded by the lack of customer care or even an apology of what they did and how it ruined my entire travel weekend.

SWITCHING POLARITIES…read more Someone once asked my thoughts on a battery store, and I said "well, there's a lot of positives and negatives". Despite their signage out front saying otherwise, this business is listed as 'Batteries Plus' on Yelp. They can be found on the left end of a strip mall in Bolingbrook near the intersection with Weber Rd, near Charley's Cheesesteaks and KO Sushi on Boughton Rd. The other month my 3yo's toy plane ran out of juice, and he asked me to fix it. "Sure buddy, no problem", I told him, "how hard can it be to find a pair of LR41 button batteries? Shouldn't be that expensive..." Famous last words. Come to find out, not only are LR41 button batteries a non-standard type, but they're hella expensive ($5/ea). Button batteries are the bane of my existence and pose a serious health risk, so yes, I hate them with every fiber of my being. The sales associate helped me find what I needed, and $11 later my son's plastic model 737 was making its usual cacophony of noises. Whoever designed that !@&$% toy to use the most obtuse batteries available should be drawn & quartered like in medieval times (the era, not the dinner theatre). * TL;DR * If ever there was a niche store, it's Batteries + Bulbs. I shouldn't need to come back here, unless I'm dumb enough to buy another toy that's powered by atypical means (anything other than 'AA' or 'AAA' batteries). The store is organized well and serves its purpose, though not in a terribly exciting fashion. At least their name spells out exactly what's offered, no ambiguity here.

I went to Batteries Plus, where I have been a watch battery customer for years, and they quickly and effectively solved my problem. They got the needed battery the next day and installed it a day later. The iPad is again working fine. The cost was more than Apple quoted if they had the battery, but was worth it to me for the quick service and lack of extra travel. I don't know what Best Buy would have charged me.

I was the only car in the parking lot and the only customer in the store. I walked in and asked where to find it and worker wouldn't leave his spot behind counter to help. Once I found it on my own he rang it up for $3.25 I handed him a $20 and he said he didn't have change for that so I had to dig until I could come up with exact amount. Ok when I shop at autozone down the street the guys always offer to help me put windshield fluid in my van but not this guy at oreilley. I said to worker is this gonna be hard to do? No he says. I go out and can't get hood open struggle andnthenfinally google it and 15 min later I've opened hood and filled it myself. As I'm throwing away empty gallon the lazy worker pops his head out the air conditioned door and says did you get it ok? What do think cowboy? here's your empty gallon u can see me struggling from the window and offer no help whatsoever. Won't b back to this business, they can't come close to the service you receive if you drive another block south to their competitior. No service was offered at this new business whatsoever. Very disappointing.
