The other month my 3yo's toy plane ran out of juice, and he asked me to fix it. "Sure buddy, no problem", I told him, "how hard can it be to find a pair of LR41 button batteries? Shouldn't be that expensive..." Famous last words. Come to find out, not only are LR41 button batteries a non-standard type, but they're hella expensive ($5/ea). Button batteries are the bane of my existence and pose a serious health risk, so yes, I hate them with every fiber of my being. The sales associate helped me find what I needed, and $11 later my son's plastic model 737 was making its usual cacophony of noises. Whoever designed that !@&$% toy to use the most obtuse batteries available should be drawn & quartered like in medieval times (the era, not the dinner theatre). * TL;DR * If ever there was a niche store, it's Batteries + Bulbs.
