I try to order fries no matter where I go just to see how they throw down in that fryer. These are hands down the best fries I've had in 2025.. maybe even for the last 5 years. I can not think of a better fry and now I'm sad that I will be going back to San Francisco seeking a fry that comes close. Nell's Place might be a wonderful place for locals and a quaint place to socialize and meet new people, but it struck out for me on that day, and I doubt if I will ever go again when I am in town visiting relatives. Oh, strike three was the sheer lack of customer service and inattentiveness to those not seated at the bar. All the Locals were adequately taken care of at the bar while those seated on the floor seemed invisible to the Nell's Place staff.
