I signed up with Infinite Financial Firm Credit Doc to help remove several late payments from my…read morecredit report because I needed my credit fixed quickly in order to buy a house. From February 23 to April 21, I trusted the process and was very clear from the beginning that money was not the problem. I even told them I was willing to pay extra if they could work faster and actually get results. At first, they told me I did not need to pay off my credit cards or balances for the process to work. Later on, they changed their advice and told me that if I paid off the accounts, the disputes would move faster and have a better chance of success. I followed their recommendation and paid off the accounts hoping to finally see results, but even after doing that, I still did not receive any meaningful improvement. Instead of offering a faster or more effective solution, they placed me into a monthly payment program and kept telling me to wait. Communication was also very slow, especially from the owner, who would take a long time to respond to my messages and concerns. During the entire process, they claimed they filed disputes multiple times, but I never saw any positive results. In fact, my credit situation became worse instead of improving. After almost two months of waiting, I was eventually told that I should just cancel the service because they were not getting results.I feel disappointed because I spent time, money, and trusted their promises during an important time when I needed my credit fixed urgently. Based on my experience, there was a lack of urgency, communication, and effective dispute strategy. I would strongly recommend others ask for clear proof of work, realistic expectations, and actual progress before signing up.

Gus was the MVP -- responsive, patient, and great at explaining things. Julie V. M. was hands-on the entire way, which says a lot about this team. Ask questions. Communicate. This is legal stuff -- they can't read minds, but they do listen. Fast, reliable, professional. Strong like an oak tree -- exactly who you want handling serious business. Highly recommend

My experience with this law firm was short, yet stressful. I'm a young girl with debt that I so…read moredesperately want to get out of. I found OakTree and decided to take the leap and book a consultation. I ended up getting connected with Gus Gomez whom I met with in person. I was told I'd be qualified and to start the filing process I had to pay a certain amount of money up front. I ended up paying the full amount for Chapter 7 bankruptcy ($1,923) to get the process started as quickly as possible. After that, I proceeded to submit my tax returns, bank statements, and pay stubs prior to booking my "1-Hour Intake" (that only lasted 20 minutes by the way) where Gus just ends up telling me that I'm no longer qualified for Chapter 7. He told me my only options were to wait 2-3 years to file Chapter 7, try for Chapter 13 and dish out another $2,000, or back out of the bankruptcy all together. I took a day to think about it, then reached out to Gus to let him know I wanted to back out (he told me if I backed out, I would be refunded my money) because they didn't get far into the process. Never heard from him again. Ignored my calls, texts, and emails. Had my boyfriend call him as a "potential client" and Gus answered his call. This a-hole was completely dodging me. Over a week later I finally ended up getting an email from Ed Pitts agreeing to issue me a partial refund of only $1,423, charging me $500 for a phone call that was performed by a Bankruptcy Department Manager (Gus), not even an attorney. Said his services are considered "administrative duties" and that $500 is their fee for those duties. They failed to be transparent about this "fee" in my consultation and contract. I will be seeking resolution through the State Bar's Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program and filing a State Bar complaint regarding the handling of my case and the supervision of non-attorney staff. Do not recommend this place, this was not a pleasant experience would give 0 stars if Yelp allowed it.

Back in 1998, when I was trying to purchase a house, I needed help repairing and improving my credit. That's when I met an incredible team at Second Chance Financial -- John, Karen, and Wayne. From the very beginning, they treated me with kindness, honesty, professionalism, and genuine care. Thanks to their help and guidance, I was able to buy my home back in 1998. Now, 28 years later, I find myself reaching out to them again for assistance, and to my surprise and gratitude, Karen and Wayne are still there. That alone says so much about the dignity, integrity, and stability of this company. It shows not only how they value their clients, but also how they treat and respect their employees. What always made them different is that they never treated me like "just another client." Over the years, they would occasionally call simply to check on me and see how I was doing. That level of humanity and compassion is very rare today. If anyone needs honest and trustworthy help with their credit, I truly recommend Second Chance Financial. These are good people who genuinely care about helping others rebuild and move forward in life. Thank you, Karen. Thank you, Wayne. And may God bless the memory of John, who is no longer with us. Your kindness and help will never be forgotten.
