We fell in love with her almost immediately and arranged a meet-and-greet with our other dog that same day. Josh was incredibly helpful in coordinating the meet-and-greet, and Nic, a kind and compassionate young man shared some of Diamond's history with us. That information has been so helpful in easing the bonding process with our other pets. Amber assisted us with the final adoption and was absolutely wonderful. She even followed up with me via email to offer behavioral tips for dog and cat bonding, which we really appreciated. The entire adoption experience was fantastic, and we're so grateful to everyone who helped us along the way. I wish I could remember the names of the lovely women who assisted Nic during the meet-and-greet, because they deserve a huge shout-out as well. Although I ended up not being a match for Eli, the initial adoption process through K9 Kismet went smoothly. First, I completed an adoption form and waited for someone to contact me. I received a call from Nici who arranged for a meet and greet in an office in Los Alamitos. We also had a tentative home check arranged. After a meet and greet between Eli with another prospective adoptive family, Nici advised that Eli would probably not be a good fit in my household. I couldn't agree more with her assessment because I have a smaller dog in my home that would probably be prone to getting injured by Eli's sheer playfulness. He is a solid dog with a lot of energy. The other dog in my house is a senior teacup chihuahua. I am so happy that Eli has since found his forever home. His story is one that tugged at my heartstrings and I just had to meet him. Even though it did not work out between us, K9 Kismet is a legit rescue that cares about the wellbeing of the pet and thoroughly vets their applicants.

I met Julie from the HB team based off of recommendations from AALOC. Julie and her team were excellent, delivering quality service and most importantly, showing that they truly care about the community cats. I would love to highlight that Julie went above and beyond by helping me connect with OCAA to make sure I could make my goals with helping the community cats. Without Julie's support, kindness, and quick attention, I would not have been able to navigate this process as easy. I wish I got the name of her other team members because everyone was truly wonderful, and made me feel excited to make a positive impact on the cat community. They let us spend time with a while bunch of kittens before we decided on Langley now named Luci. Luci is the most well adjusted, friendly, fearless, playful little spazz every! You can tell the babies are loved and well cared for. The adoption fee is unbeatable as well! Having her spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and a flea treatment would have definitely cost us more than the adoption fee!! Thank you CatPAWS, we LOVE our new family member!
