Contacted A1 garage door repair and spoke to a representative, they gave me an estimate and told…read moreher I wanted to check back and she was very pushy, she said she would waive the service charge, which have never been charged that with any other company, she also said they would do the tuneup safety check for free as well. So I made an appointment and the technician showed up and immediately wanted to upsell me on other stuff. I told him let's just do the seals only which is what I needed. He said parts are special order and would take 2 weeks, so I said go ahead and order, he said he needed a 50% deposit, I said ok and wrote him a check. 2 weeks later no response, I called them and they said the parts weren't delivered and they screwed up. So they said it would take another week or so to get the parts. I told them forget it and send me a refund. The person said it would take 10-14 days for a refund check to get mailed and a supervisor would need to call me because it was over $100, so no call again! Called them after a week and they said they screwed up again. Now allegedly my refund is on the way? This company is horrible at communicating and not very professional at all. I called another company in town and they ordered the parts and no deposit required and parts came in a week and they came out and replaced the seals and were $100 cheaper than this company. I don't recommend them to anyone!

There was a knowledgeable repair man that evaluated the problem and returned the next day to install the spring. He also noted some problems with the door stability, missing some screws and most of the other screws were loose. He tightened up all the screws and adjusted the chain which was a little loose. The estimate was reasonable, the repair was made and my garage door is working perfectly. I would HIGHLY recommend Graszer for any garage door problems you have.

Had an issue with one of my garage doors installed recently by Superior and sold through Home Depot…read morenot properly opening. Home Depot called the installer who said I had to contact the garage door opener company (Chamberlain) for technical support. Tech support for Chamberlain is farmed to Bangladesh and I could not understand a word the "technician" said. Finally gave up and went out and inspected the installation closely. What I found was that the rails were installed too narrow where the straight vertical track attaches to the track bend. The rollers were pinched completely at this point and the roller outside face was rubbing on the heads of the bolts used to join the two tracks together. Poor installation practices. Fixed it myself because I frankly have little faith in these people. I recommend you look elsewhere for service or installation.
