Use Caution here: Mason was assigned our Warranty work concerning a broken 5 ton Heat Pump. We are senior citizens with health issues and Summer is here and it's really hot, 90+ in the house. In any case, seems Mason and his family all woke up on the wrong side of the bed. He, (and they, on the phone) were rude, curt and had little to no customer service to make any person feel good about the work needed. Mason may have been very good in the past, but he seemed to be grumpy and frankly, not into the job. He tried a quick fix, lasted 3 days. When called back to complete fix, he never even came to my door (I'm in a wheelchair) and when stopped before leaving, he said it could be "awhile" before a replacement part would be installed. He added "he may have one laying around somewhere." That was enough for us. We will now go elsewhere for service. Again, perhaps this company was good at one time, but as seniors, we can not think of much good to say, sorry. When I commented about the heat, Mason said he had been "here for 29 years, and it's always hot." I could see in his eyes, he did not care at all about us. It is hard to say too much about the value here, since we had no choice in the company, and they may be much nicer when not a warranty call, IDK. read more

Once again Ryan arrives on time and quickly brings his tools and equipment. His diagnosis shows the thermostat is not talking to my heater. He quickly changes my Honeywell device and has my home warm and cozy. At first, My home warranty issued Nichols mechanical LLC. They hadn't called by 1030am, so I called them and they didn't answer. We've used All-Right Air twice through our home warranty and once outside of it. Each time, the All-Right Air crew has done a fantastic job, in addition to being friendly and responsive. The first visit, they diagnosed and fixed an issue that our regular A/C tech had completely missed after three visits. The second visit, more than a year later, they jury-rigged our system so we would have cold air during the hottest days (and nights) of the year so far. If it was possible to leave a - 5 star review I would!! Our air conditioner failed and our home warranty company contracted with All-Right Air Conditioning and Heating to install a new air conditioning unit. A installation date was given to us by All-Right. At about 7:45 am on the date of the installation, Mason (the owner of the company) phoned us and advised us that there was an "additional charge" that our home warranty company "wouldn't cover." He advised us that we would have to pay him almost $1,800.00 or our unit would not be installed that morning. We were already without an air conditioner for 2 weeks so we gave him a credit card number over the phone. We contacted our home warranty company about the upcharge. They advised us that Mason told them that he had to make "modifications" to be able to install the air conditioner. Mason told them that he had to modify the spot where the AC sits (in actuality, all he did was put a piece of unfinished plywood that is about 2 ft by 3 ft and a 4 foot piece of angle iron!) and that he had to move the electrical (not true - the AC sits in the exact spot that the other one did). The information that Mason gave our home warranty company is FALSE!! The owner of All-Right - Mason cannot be trusted!! Don't trust this man! Reliable, efficient and budget-friendly! I'd highly recommend All-Right Air Conditioning. They had a quick response time, and they provided budget options that would still provide adequate cooling! The technicians were very courteous, skilled, and they completed the retrofit in hours. They even ran a new dryer duct for me as a courtesy so I could avoid the spiders under the house! They even let us know that they didn't have to do modifications to the vent ducting like they originally thought and adjusted the quote accordingly. Other companies only tried to convince us that everything needed to be changed, quoting thousands more. All-Right techs came out QUICKLY and thoroughly inspected the existing heater system. They researched and verified that my existing equipment could be retrofitted. Next, they evaluated the electrical system and didn't try to pad the bill with unnecessary modifications (our home has recently had a power pole upgrade so we knew power wouldn't be an issue). They went under the house to verify that the ducting was satisfactory, and involved me in the process of placement of the heat exchange portion of the A/C unit. They did this to be sure that the noisy part of the unit wouldn't be right near areas that would keep the family awake at night. They spent close to an hour doing a thorough inspection of all aspects of the retrofit and suggested a few options to accommodate our budget while ensuring that the unit they added would be sufficient. They had to modify the heater cabinet door & cabinet space but did it so that everything blended in wonderfully, cleaning up every bit of construction mess when they left. I was provided with complete instructions on the new thermostat, the lifetime filter, and the warranties. I received a follow-up call approximately a week later to ensure that I was completely satisfied. They even have me on their list for a 1-year cleaning/system check to ensure that I'll be safe and satisfied for years to come! My house is cool and comfortable in the sweltering heat! read more

Today is August 1st and of course the peak of summer. We have had monsoons nearly everyday and I believe the power outages was the culprit for the demise of the dual run cap unit that was found to have fried wires. We had this replaced years ago by a friend and it cost today only 38.00dollars more. So I have to say bargain round up! Definitely a fair price and fast, knowledgeable and courteous service. on 5/24/15 pilot light went on my heater...Tech from firm came out for diagnosis problem on 5/25/15 for $79.....which is a lot of money for my area. Tech do not inspect heater or attempt to relight pilot. He immediately attacked heater exchange ran one mickey mouse test and photographed several 'cracks' in heater exchange. Cracks can be deadly or superficial. When found they demand thorough testing, including but not exclusive of getting heating going, monitoring CO emission(if any) from heater and using IR photography to determine extent of cracks. Tech did nothing substantive and inferred that cracks caused pilot to go out and told me heater dangerous and was leaking CO into my home...all very unlikely... If cracks are dangerous, one can replace heater OR install new heater exchange... which is likely the best course of action if weather permits. I liked tech and requested they find a new heater exchange for me and install it. Tech resisted suggestion and attempted to strong arm me into buying one of their new heaters for $2795(ridiculous markup). I declined, requested repair and essentially got ripped off big time. Have brother who is an expert in HVAC and knows my heater well but lives 300 miles away. Discovered this scam as he is well versed in field, has published 50-10 instruction manuals sold on Amazon on heaters and trained heating techs. After brother's input, contacted them (on Internet) - a synopsis of above and demanded not to be contacted again. Mason, I believe boss, ignored my input and sent me an unsolicited email applauding my desire to junk old heater and buy a new on?????????? Tech nice guy but $79 for 5 min. diagnosis is a rip off. Secondly tech after wrongfully concluding w/o correct testing heater was bad dedicated all effforts to sell me new unit for $2795.00 which as far as I am aware is a brand I would never buy - if I really needed a heater. Queried tech about AC repairs and learned that they do not do them. They come out - trash the AC and sell u new one - which is insane and ecologically crazy. Believe company should abandon pretense of repairing either heaters or ac's - not send out techs but salespeople. I reported them to BBB and am waiting to see if they intervene....This firm scammed me and warn others not to get conned by them. Strongly suggest others in area find another firm...even if you have to drag in one from Flagstaff or Las Vegas. read more

After dealing with a temperamental A/C for a couple years in Bullhead City, I decided it was time to have it replaced. I called All-Right and they dispatched a technician / sales person (William). After discussing a new system and pricing, I agreed to make the change. He checked and confirmed that they could be out the next day to install. First thing in the morning the guys arrived for the install. They both were very nice and respectful. They estimated that it would take about 4-5 hours for the install and that is exactly how long it took. After the unit ran about 15 hours it quit. So Saturday at 9:00 pm I placed a call expecting to get a answering machine. To my surprise, William answered the phone. When I explained the problem he told me that he could be out in an hour (from Kingman) to look at it. I told him that if he could come out Sunday morning, that would be fine. Sunday morning at 7:30 William was there and quickly determined that the compressor was defective. They picked up a new unit and got us going again. The failure of the compressor was clearly not the fault of All-Right. What was impressive was their response and resolution to the problem. We called all right air from a recommendation our neighbor. The a/c stopped cooling the house the problem was as a blower motor at the tune of $435.00 to fix !!! I decided to get another estimate and theirs came back at $142.00 and wasn't even the blower it was the capacitor and the bad thing about this is I used all rite air a month before and they got me for over $700 and change I'm so glad I got that second estimate and I would never ever recommend this company to anyone ! I've had quite a few years history with All-Right. The first time I called them was after having called several other local a/c companies. I live way out of town and it's difficult to find. I was interested in installing two swamp coolers. Mason was one of two that actually made it out to my place. I told him what I wanted. He went up on the roof and checked the areas where I wanted them put. While up there he noticed several roof tiles were loose. He told me about it and said he'd have it fixed in no time. He pulled out a gallon can of tar (what a/c guy carries roofing tar in their truck?), went back on the roof and made the repair. He told me about the considerations for the swampers and then asked to see my a/c unit. He checked the outside unit and then the inside unit. He disassembled the inside unit and told me it was very dirty/dusty. He took all the pieces outside, cleaned them up and reinstalled them. He gave me my swamper quote without charging for everything else he did. He said it was something that needed to be done and he wouldn't feel right leaving me in that situation. He was at my house for over two hours! From then on he's been the only one I've called over the next 10 years. He's replaced condensors, fans, and other electrical stuff that's rendered my a/c unit helpless and usually in the heat of August. He or his workers have always shown up in a timely fashion and have made my system operational without the constant up-charging other companies do. And I've been through that as well with my rental properties. I've had the a/c company my property manager uses come to one of my properties and tell me the entire unit needs to be replaced at a cost of thousands of dollars! I called All-Right and Mason looked at the unit, determined a fuse thing blew out and the unit was a couple pounds short of freon. For about $300 the unit was fixed, my tenants were happy, and he did it within a day of the other company. My property manager is now instructed to only use All-Right for a/c needs on my properties. Most recently, July 3rd, my a/c went out (of course). Mason was at my house within 45 minutes of my call. He explained the upcoming ban on the freon in my system, the rising prices of complete a/c units and the cost to repair my existing unit. Then he explained the cost of replacing my entire unit, the 10 year warranty and the different freon that would be used in it. The cost was substantial. But weighing the fact my current unit would only be serviceable for 18 months and then I would be forced to replace it and imagining the increased costs at that time, I decided to replace my current unit. Mason was immediately on the phone making sure he had all the materials available. He sent his crew out the morning of July 4th! By mid-afternoon the new unit was in place and working. Now I'm as happy as my other tenants. I had All-Right replace that unit last year and those tenants are happy to know they have heating and cooling without worry. I won't use any other company than All-Right for all of my heating/cooling needs. They are dependable, reliable, professional and are the example of customer service the rest of the HVAC companies should strive for. read more

My Air Conditioner went out. I called the insurance company and they sent out All-Right. As soon as they arrived they said we do not work on Trane (probably something they should have asked before they came out or told the insurance company ahead of time). They did say we can though and went through a bunch of tests for a couple hours and put some new parts on and said it was fixed. It lasted about 2 hours so I called them back and they came out again. They determined they made a mistake the first time and after a couple hours testing again they said "now it was a compressor issue and I needed a new one". I asked "are you sure this time" and he responded "Yes, I've been in this business for 40 years and my tech is qualified also and it is definitely a compressor gone bad issue". They wrote it up for the insurance company and then told the insurance company they didn't want to work on it cause it was a Trane. So now the insurance company has to find a new company and this wasted a week without AC. The new company came out and within 10 minutes said this is not a compressor issue, its an Expansion Valve gone bad. They ordered a new expansion valve and its been working for a week perfectly. Can you imagine if I didn't have insurance All-Right would have ordered a compressor and installed it at about $3k and it still wouldn't have worked and I would have been stuck for the bill. I have had All Right on several occasions, they always did great work and were very reasonable, the owner Mason thoroughly explained what was done and why, and the other employees were courtious and helpful. They always were available for anything I needed in the future, I prefer to do business with them over any other company I have delt with. I have delt with two other companies in the past who put in air conditioning (in the Bullhead area) and they went out of business and when I needed help or a warrenty they were gone. From day one I was lied to by Mr. Rollo as to the water leak problem I was having. He told me it would cost more to fix the water leak than buy a new unit from him. He took my $5,375.88, installed a new unit. The next day I still had the water leak, sent him a letter of intent for him to return my old unit or eat the price of the new unit, his reply "you'll hear from my attorney! Called a plumber, Rolland Plumbing Service here in Kingman, Az and he said it was coming from under the AC unit and he wasn't an AC man, cost $85.00. Called another AC store, Kennedy Temperature Techniques, also here in Kingman, AZ, was told it was a 90 degree PVC fitting never glued from when the drain pipe was installed and it just happened to work loose. The cost of repair, $15.62 for parts and $180 for labor. Would have been better if Mr. Rollo hadn't lied to me. I recently moved to Kingman and only knew of the company that installed my brand new air conditioner in my new built home. I had been having problems with the air conditioning unit prior; therefore; decided to have a check up. Glad I did. I was fortunate to have the owner of All-Right attend to my problem. His knowledge and gracious extent of time spent explaining the problem that existed assisted tremendously. In addition, he spent extra time educating me on the initial incorrect installation done by the original company, which had to be addressed and rectified. I had called All-Right only to have a check up; however was informed of imminent disaster. After All-Right left ( unfortunately, they couldn't fix the problem as otherwise it would void any warranty), I contacted the original air conditioning company regarding the issue. The problem was severe enough that they came out within two hours to address the problem. I would highly recommend this company as his knowledge and foresight eliminated any unforeseen catastrophes. I have an older Trane (13) that kept freezing up. Was informed by other companies very high prices to fix the leak and was informed I absolutely need a new unit. Mason came out and he explained the leak problem in excellent detail, put in 2 lbs freon. (2 lbs low after 8 months) and it's been working fine for 2 months now. If and when the leak needs repaired, he quoted a reasonable price. My faith in humanity was restored as he was honest, very informative, and gave other options to try. My home warranty company sent All Right A/C out and he showed up and told my kid there were items that had to be replaced and that it could take up to 2 weeks to get parts and work done . When I called there office back to find out he stated that he just got back and those words about 2 weeks never came out of his mouth and that he would send a report tomorrow to the insurance company. I said I wasn't waiting that long and he proceeded to tell me I could do a buy out and I told him I wasn't paying for something that's covered and I hung up on him and call my insurance company. They said he was suppose to call them on the spot with his report and was not to talk about buy outs with customers. After I finished talking to the insurance company and after she talked to them, All Right A/C office sent a report saying it was my fault the A/C broke down and they didn't want to do the work. If there was something wrong, why didn't they say something when they serviced it in April when they did a free service. Never did he tell my kid, myself or the insurance rep about it. I started using All-Right Air Conditioning in Kingman a few years ago when my existing system needed tune-ups/refrigerant. My air conditioning had refrigerant leaks and I was hoping I could nurse it along for a few more years without replacing it. Finally, after receiving excellent service from All-Right Air Conditioning in the past, I decided in May 2016 to either service my unit again or replace it. I called All-Right and requested a quote from Mason. We had a lengthy discussion on what I needed and how I could get the best system possible for my needs. He explained to me how my duct system worked and improvements that could be made to get it functioning better. It was a no pressure conversation and Mason was willing to keep my old system up and running or switch it out for a new unit. He was willing to do whatever I decided to do. Based on my past dealings with All-Right, and specifically Mason, I opted to replace my system. Once I decided, the process was painless. Mason secured a unit, scheduled a time for installation, performed the installation to my satisfaction, and I was up and running in no time.
