If you need a good locksmith immediately, call someone else. I call up this company and the person answers the phone mumbles, "locksmith", and doesn't say who they are or their company name. I say I need someone immediately and we're 3 miles away from them. They say, "sure we can send someone immediately, they'll be there in 10 minutes." 20 minutes later, I call them and they say, "don't worry they'll be there in 10 minutes." I say, "they better be there in 15 minutes cuz my wife and newborn are freaking out right now." They say, no problem. The tech guy calls and says, "I'll be there between 25 - 50 minutes." Absolutely ridiculous. I'm going elsewhere. I do not recommend these guys at all. They do not have the customer's best interest at heart. read more

Earlier this week, I lost my car keys, and like most, looked on the Internet and chose the business with the most stars and best reviews without thinking too much of it. That is when I came across HS. Locksmith. It was close to home and when I called, Michael was pleasant and very professional. He let me know that he'd be able to meet my needs with replacing my car key that had a chip in it and was on his way. He arrived when he said he would, was friendly, and knew what he was doing. I can sometimes be an "airhead" so I lose or lock my keys away often. I have experience in this area unfortunately. Michael was above what ice experience with this type of entity. Michael is a very skillful locksmith, which help the customer to minimize the cost, repair instead of replace.

So we called them and a guy name Eddie came over he didn't wanna mention how much it'll cost to get him here on the phone and told us you'll know later, so we trusted him. (He's only down the block 7 mins walk which we walked there according to Google Map and couldn't find his store front that's why we called). He got here and told us we're going to pay $29 for his travel and two twenty six for just the cabinet lock to be replaced. We agreed with that at first unknowingly it's $226 instead of $2.26, who knows this tiny safe lock can cost a whole new safe. Thank god we clarify the price with him again. Then he told us he went to school just for lock for three years and forced us in a way to buy his service since he's already here. I held him back and tell him we may have other option or let's not do it if that's the price cuz we can buy a whole new safe with it. He repeatedly said "it's up to you!" in an unfriendly manner and tone. We did not feel good even letting him into our door for his pushy manner. We're asking for someone who can do the job with a respectful manner and reasonable price. Understand customer's stand point and not force your service, this is not Wild Wild West nor wild China where you force someone must buy your service with an attitude. Completely scam! Now this is a lesson for your business feed, it's not always only about how good you are with your specialty but also how you work with your customers, and not to run your business with only money in mind but to provide a satisfying service so they'll return for your business to run long enough. read more

Stay away. These guys are ill equipped, shady as they come, and even more dishonest. Called them to unlock an antique file cabinet that has been in the family for 50 years. Their 'tech' said he needed to drill the lock, and I give him permission to do so. When I came back he had completely destroyed the cabinet in order to get it open. When confronted about what he had done, the tech got flustered and tried to immediately leave. In such a hurry, he left some of his made in china, harbor freight tools behind. He also wouldn't give me a receipt and when I told him to give me contact info for his boss, I was handed a card, which turns out later to be for another locksmith company. These guys not only won't return my calls, but have blocked my number on the 'super non shady' google voice account they use to run their business. Avoid these bastards like the plague...using them cost me a valuable family heirloom. read more

The service was great, but 600 dollars to drill a hole into the lock and install a new lock is way way way way way overpriced. I wish I had just broke the lock myself and purchased a new one for 25 bucks. I feel like I was taken advantage of in a bad situation. I have never heard of a locksmith charging that much for a simple lock out situation. Now I have to scramble to make up that money because who has an extra 600 dollars just lying around!? Nice guy and quick service but not worth the outrageous cost!!! The owner did tell me that he is out of the country and had to outsource the job. Michael (the owner) did try to call them and resolve the issue, but they refused and tried to justify the cost. I appreciate his role in trying, and I am still going to try and call them tomorrow. Michael is definitely customer service oriented and he said he will no longer work with them again. Michael showed up after 20 minutes, was very professional and unlocked my car in about 5-10 minutes. they accept card payments and the entire experience was quick and easy! my grand total was $124. i would definitely recommend them! read more
