Myke took the time to answer every one of them and immediately put my mind at ease. From our first conversation, it was clear that he genuinely cared about his couples and their experience. What really set Myke apart was his personality and professionalism. Anyone can point a camera at an event, and any experienced professional should be able to produce a quality video, but Myke brought an extra level of comfort and ease to the day. My husband and I are both uncomfortable in front of cameras and generally dislike having our photos taken. We knew we wanted to document the day, but we were worried about feeling awkward or overly staged. Myke made the entire experience feel natural and effortless. After the wedding, I quickly realized how grateful I was that we had invested in videography. I was very excited to…read morehave her, as the venue highly recommended her, and the work I'd seen of hers seemed to fit mine and my husband's style very well. Photos were the most important part of the wedding for me, outside the ceremony, so we did not choose a cheap or ill recommended photographer. Pros: -She was on time, well dressed, and nice. -She was very open about the daily timelines, likely hood of certain photos, and how photos would turn out due to unexpected (yet very welcomed) rain. Her partner kept the guys going on their timeline, and overall, we were very happy with this. -She recommended a "photo song" so my husband and I could have a photo with every person at the wedding, which we were grateful for as we were not sure we would get them with everyone before this. -She ensured that the few specific poses I had wanted, she snapped. Cons: -just before she left, I asked how long photos would take. She informed me she would send me a few sneak peaks within a week or so, for Christmas cards, and photos would take 8-10 weeks to receive. -Sneak peaks never came, despite my having emailed (with no response) on 12.14.23 and again 12.23.23. -I emailed her on 2.1.24 and 2.27.24 and was informed both times they were finishing up October photos, and mine would be next. -I emailed again on 4.1.24 and 4.11.24, to which she did not reply until 4.15.24 to let me know I would have my gallery by the end of that week. -Photos did not take 8-10 weeks as she had told me, but instead took 27 weeks (just over 6 months) to arrive. -certain photos had been missed. IE: we kissed at the alter, and then again at the end of the aisle, and we have no photos of the kiss at the end of the aisle. -my husband had a rash the day of the wedding. We were told these would be edited to remove the red on his face, but this wasn't actually done. Overall, photos turned out lovely. However, with having paid just shy of $2,500, I do wish she had been truthful about her timeline for photos turn around. In the time we waited, I became pregnant, and made it through more than half my pregnancy, before I even saw the photos of the day I married my husband. To say I was disappointed in the timeline, and her lack of honesty about getting sneak peak photos to me prior to Christmas, and all photos on time in general, would be an understatement.

The bug was reasonably priced and the staff was prompt and efficient during the booking process. Got a bit of a scare the day before due to unexpected rain but we used tents to cover it since my wedding was outdoors and all went as planned. The attendant arrived on time, was fun to work with, and a trooper in the rain. Temple created a beautiful custom photo strip to coordinate with our wedding invitations which was a great touch. At the end of the evening, the attendant provided a guest book with all of our photo strips that was filled with messages from our guests. However, that was much easier said than done since our style preference contrasts quite a bit (I preferred light and bright while he preferred moody and earthy). After scouring through instagram accounts after instagram accounts and disagreeing on every single one, we came across Nicola's profile. Her photography was not only the first and only one we'd ever agreed on but her style and artistry immediately captured both our attentions. It was breathtakingly beautiful how she utilizes light and manipulates in a way that cannot be described and the way she can capture the candid almost-raw moments in a couple. We saw couples come to life in her photos and knew we had to have her capture our special day. Nicola photographed both our engagement and wedding day photos and was a nice calm energy to have around in such a chaotic environment. For a couple with quite a bit of anxiety when it comes to photography, she captured the two of us in the most natural manner and we were astonished with the end product. It didn't even occur to us that we were being photographed most of the time! She has proven that no challenge is too difficult to overcome in order to capture a photo, whether it is two very awkward individuals or bringing an indoor cat into the wild for an engagement shoot.
