Elementary Back to School Breakfast Event.

The folks there are very much in the business for the purpose of serving others. As a staple in the Denton community, each staff member shows up with gratitude and kindness so that the customers have solid service with a workable environment. There is clear intention to bless others within the fabric or the company! Recently they helped support a Teacher's Back to School Breakfast by donating coffee for a local Elementary School. Please continue to support this business as they prove to give back to the community and its citizens in big ways!! Thank you again, Scott! Huge shout out for your heart.

I think it a very decent coffee shop. I love the customer service and the coffee shop mission of helping addicts recover. The ambiance is great but I believe it just missing some background music. Coffee is good but nothing too fancy

I have come here many times for last night study sessions, and the workers are always so nice. Yea and coffee prices are cheap, as well as for the baked goods. They have sandwiches available too if you get hungry. The lemon pound cake was absolutely delicious! Moist but also fluffy and very flavorful while not too sweet. For iced tea, there is a refillable option which I love, and they always have 3 different types to choose from. I've had the hibiscus, peach and coconut. Peach is my favorite thus far. I also appreciate Zera's mission and community focused vision and values. The only con is the noise. Maybe of the time it's moderately quiet, but many nights there is a worship band practicing loud music in the space adjacent to the coffee shop. Sometimes there may even be a service or an event. In general, it seems like the people here are very noisy as well, and not as mindful about others. So if you prefer quiet when working, thus us not the place to go to.

The coffee was simply delicious!!! I enjoyed every drop. Stumbled upon this coffee shop on my way to a meeting in the area. The floor plan is spacious and the noise is minimal. The staff was friendly. It was refreshing to learn that my purchase was support the community. If you're looking for a nice coffee shop with ample space and a positive vibe- this is the place.

Zera is now offering various delicious ice cream treats along with their yummy coffees, teas, sandwiches and wraps!!

I am a frequent visitor at Zera Coffee shop. Every time I go the experience is the same: tasty coffee drinks and teas as well as delicious sandwiches and wraps, plus a warm, friendly, welcoming staff and laid back atmosphere. I always observe a wide variety of people in different activities at Zera. There are people who are studying, people who are working and people who are just hanging out happily with friends enjoying the yummy food and congenial feel of the place. This past weekend Zera added ice cream desserts to their menu! I tried their Reese's Sundae and enjoyed every bite! My favorite sandwich is their chicken salad on a toasted croissant. Truly divine! I highly recommend Zera whether you're looking for a wonderful coffee drink, lunch or dessert, ( they have several kinds!), especially if you want a welcoming, cheerful, attractive place to hang out with your friends. :-)

I wondered if writing a review was even worth it because what is done is done and can't be changed but I absolutely love and miss the old vibe zeras used to have ! The newly renovated zeras feels cold and dare I even say sterile, maybe they felt a certain need to compete with more modern spots like golden boy or Jupiter house but nothing will ever beat the moody atmosphere of the old zeras, especially combined with the big comfy couches and warm toned furniture that they swapped out for generic Scandinavian type furniture :(

On this morning, quite a few two-tops were available. Fortunately, there was no need to sit by the bar as those stools had no backs. I ordered the Classic Breakfast. The buttermilk pancakes, of which I barely finished half, were very delicious. The sausage patties were equally delightful. The same could not be said of the syrup which congealed as it poured. Although the fried eggs had a pleasant taste, I failed to be more precise on how they were to be cooked as the yolk was liquified. When I ordered the Holiday Brew drip coffee, I wished the cashier had suggested the Bottomless Drip. As I usually drink more than a single cup, I could have saved some money. Regardless, the coffee had a very pleasant taste. When gratuity was requested, it would have been very beneficial to know for what I was tipping? When I ordered off the breakfast menu, the price was not for the raw ingredients but the cost of it being made. The same with ordering drip coffee. When I saw the silverware by the cream and coffee sweetener, I expected to grab my own utensils. As it was my initial visit, the sign to bus my own table was totally unexpected. It definitely explained why there were a lot of crumbs on the table. Since the sign was near the back, it would have been easily missed if I had not visited the restroom.

From the moment we walked in until the end of our evening, the experience was absolutely exceptional. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and host, both of whom wished us a happy anniversary and immediately escorted us to our table. To our surprise, the table had been beautifully decorated with rose petals such a thoughtful and special touch that instantly set the tone for the evening. Our server, Adam, greeted us shortly after and walked us through the specials, again wishing us a happy anniversary. We ordered a special appetizer, the octopus, steak, fresh bread, and margaritas. Everything was incredibly delicious. The margaritas especially impressed me I'm not a big drinker and tend to be very picky about cocktails, but it was perfectly balanced and so enjoyable. Throughout our meal, we were checked on regularly, both by our server and by the owner, Phil. Adam went above and beyond to ensure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. It was also wonderful to see Phil personally checking on guests, clearing plates, and staying actively involved in the dining room. It's rare to see an owner so hands-on and genuinely engaged with customers. We finished the evening with crème brûlée for dessert, which was absolutely amazing and such a generous surprise when it was gifted to us in celebration of our anniversary. The entire night felt thoughtful, personal, and memorable. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and an owner who truly cares. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend Hannah's for any special occasion.
