For the past two years I've come to the UK on vacation and I've visited Hua Ren Tang on four occasions where I've seen Smile, Coco or the not so friendly Dong and they all give good massage treatments, especially the first two, so I was a little upset when I attended recently and was informed that they were unavailable and that I could see Chris, a male therapist which I admit, I was a little reluctant to see.
Upon meeting Chris I was surprised, as I was expecting him to be Chinese and for some silly reason asked him if he was a professional. Unlike the other therapists whom I had seen there before he took a couple of minutes out to give me a verbal consultation as Hua Ren Tang does not give you consultation forms to fill out.
A couple of minutes after I laid down on the massage bed, Chris then knocked and entered the room. He informed me he would be using an intergrative approach of Chinese & Western techniques he calls Tui-Swe, but would focus on my back and neck (as these are my problematic areas) using more Chinese techniques.
Well I am not going to bore you anymore with a detailed commentary, but whether it be using Urban Massage, going to spas at The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, The Connaught, or Thai Square Spa, Hua Ren Tang probably has one of the best massage therapists in London, as Chris's massage is the best one I have ever had in my life. Who thought a man would be that good at massage lol!
The only thing I was not happy about, was hearing loud talking a few times and at one point shouting outside the rooms in Chinese. Not ideal when you are trying to relax.
Thanks Hua Ren Tang and Chris, I will definitely be coming back for more Tui-Swe.
