In my opinion, TC Naz is not the most education forward or highly-organized facility, but I can say the care for the kids comes first. They have taken good care of my kids and provided them a clean, supervised place to learn, play and grow. The current staff has shown nothing but love and kindness to my entire family.

It turned into the worst experience we have ever had with childcare. Starting with most of the staff. When I dropped off my infant son in the mornings, most of the time the main teacher kept her back to me, did not greet me or my son. Not a nice way for my baby to start his day! She is anything but maternal and friendly, as an infant teacher should be. As a whole, they are very understaffed and I could sense the stress it caused and saw it in the lack of good care my children were getting. I had both of my kids enrolled there and they rarely brought home artwork. The "preschool" is really more of a babysitting gig. Except for a couple of very good teachers there, most of them just sit around, not interacting with the kids, not seeming to like their jobs, disengaged and not trying to get to know the children or entertain them. The WORST part of the whole experience was the fact that my three year old daughter was physically bullied by a five year old girl in her class. Yes, they have a five year old in class with three year olds. There were three instances of physical attacks on my daughter. The school did not take it seriously or do what they said they would do to protect my daughter. We met with the Preschool Committee because the Director was especially useless and truly only defended the bully. And not only that but the teachers and the Director Jim also started to retaliate against my three year old! Writing up notes about if she took a toy from another child, or raised her voice! When I never even received a documented note about the time the five year old bully bent my daughter's finger back so far that it caused her pain, and it was intentional! I was shocked. But I was even more shocked when during the meeting with the Preschool Committee, one of the "christian" gentleman on the committee who was seated directly across the table from me lost his temper and stood up quickly, leaned as close as he could get to me, slammed his hand down on the table SO loud, and shouted at me. I was horrified and scared for my own safety. The Director was seated right there and I immediately asked if that behavior is acceptable and he just shrugged. I pressed him for an answer and he only said "I can't speak for him." These are supposed to be Christians. These are the members of the Preschool Committee! I could go on and on but I will stop there. Avoid this center at all costs. They are cheap, and it's for a reason. Crap care for your kids. Pay more and send your kids to a center when they will actually be nurtured, learn, and be kept safe. My children did not receive that level of care here at Tipp City Church of the Nazarene Preschool. I have careful documentation of all my allegations here to back up each claim. This all happened about a month ago, so I have had time to cool down from being angry and this review is written solely out of my concern to prevent other children and families from ending up in a nightmare like what we experienced.

I had a really hard time in the beginning because they aren't currently letting parents in to drop off and pick up's (due to COVID). But Bethany was so sweet and would call to give me updates on how my little one was adjusting and that made me feel a lot more comfortable in leaving them. I definitely had a much harder time with the transition than either of my kids. But Bethany was very nice and understanding and patient with me, and that was very much appreciated. Skip ahead a few months and I see a huge difference in my 2-year-olds vocabulary! He has come such a long way since we made the transition to Primrose! As for my 5-year-old, I am blown away by their curriculum and the things she has learned! I still haven't had a chance to meet the kid's teachers, but I am hoping in the next few months to get to sit down with them.

I can not say enough about this school! My little one started there when he was 2 years old. He was…read morein Ms. Kristine's class and loved her. He ended up having very severe asthma and needed treatments multiple times a day. Unfortunately it was not possible for me to quit my job and stay with him. The owners, Hollie and Jason (who, in my opinion, always seem to go above and beyond to make the children and families feel comfortable), had every teacher in the ENTIRE school learn about his type of atypical asthma and how to properly administer his medication throughout the day. They never acted like my daily call to check in on him was a problem or an inconvenience. My boys are now 8 and attend camp at primrose for the last year (they're ready for a big kid camp next year). They have a great time. The teachers are fun and treat them well (my children love their main teacher Ms. Tori). I never worry about my boys when they are there. I know they are being very well cared for. How huge is that for a parent?! Ms. Kristine is now the Parent Relations Director and you couldn't ask for a better person to interact with the parents. She is funny, friendly, competent and knows your child and his/her own unique personality. People have told me that they did not take their children to Primrose because they thought it was too expensive. It does cost a little more than other daycares in the area but it is much more than a daycare. It IS worth every dime you spend. As I read through my gushing review just now I want to make it clear that I have no affliation to Primrose or the employees there other than my children attend the school. Another words, Im not getting compensated in any way to leave this 5 star review. ;) I'm just a parent that wanted to leave an honest recommendation because I know how hard it is to find a reputable place to take care of your children when you can't.
