This is a fun place. For me personally, I always enjoy coming here. Food is great and they have plenty of live bands. I don't personally go crazy over live bands, but a lot of people enjoy them. If you're one of those people, this is the place for you! Great priced drinks, great food, and fun bands. Fun place to be. They even have volleyball and a couple other games out back. Whenever we drive through Potosi, we really try to stop at this great gem. With lots of indoor and outdoor seating, a big menu, a happy hour, and amazing brunch, you really can't go wrong with any of the food options here. They also have regular drink specials too. The food is hearty with large portions. The tables always seem to be full, so be patient with the hard working staff :) They are friendly and helpful nonetheless. The decor is similar to any sports bar and they have lots of TVs to watch games and such. I've always seen advertisements for events there, but we haven't been to one yet. The service in the restaurant was unwelcoming. The waitress did greet us. When I asked what local breweries were on tap she replied what do you mean? I repeated my request and she said I don't understand. I asked what are the beers on draft? She didn't even know so I got up to go to bar and eat. I have driven past this place many times and decided to stop in and give it a try and am so glad we did! We had skipped lunch so decided to stop in for an early dinner, I was expecting regular bar and grill food but was extremely pleased to find they offer so much more! They apparently have a daily special and that day it was an 8 ounce sirloin and a side for $15.99 so I decided to give it a try, I had the steak and a loaded baked potato, the steak was thick, juicy and cooked to perfection, the potato was very large and loaded with butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon, the flavor was amazing! My friend had the chicken breasts with sweet potato waffle fries and marshmallow cream and french fries, she said the chicken was moist and delicious, she especially loved the sweet potato fries and they gave her so many she had to ask for more marshmallow fluff for them. In fact the steak was so good that I brought a to go order of the steak special home for my husband, he loved it as well. Our server, Samaya was sweet, friendly and very attentive to our needs, best server I have ever had! We will definitely be return customers! I love going to places out of the STL area and getting a great meal. Visiting our friends in Bonne Terre over the weekend, they couldn't wait to take us to Hub Pub and Grill. They are known for their Sangria.. we opted for the Red. It was very refreshing on that Hot Saturday. I opted for the Long Island Ice Tea.. strong and delish. Our appetizers were so good.. Loaded Tots and a thing called Hub Fries.. this plate of goodness has fries topped with Queso cheese, pulled pork and BBQ Sauce.. we devoured it before I remembered to snap a good pic!! Sorry!! I got the Cuban Sandwich with Onion Rings... the sandwich was good..I added the BBQ sauce to it to take it up a notch!! My hubby had the Patty Melt.. the burger was juicy.. ask for xtra Thousand Island Dressing.. We also had the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich and a pizza. I would totally pass on the pizza..greasy and very bland. I am not sure how they make the BBQ but it is so good..they need to bottle it and sell it!!! read more

They were fabulous ~ we should have had wings for lunch. They have a large lunch selection that includes drink & a side for $8.99. My husband chose the burger, homemade fresh bun, dressed al the way with shoestring fries. I had the pulled bbq pork sandwich ~ no bun Both meals were hot, delicious and large portions. Went here today (7/21/24) weeks ago got the appetizer combo with fried pickles, crab Rangoon & t ravs. Pickles were awesome, Rangoon barely had any filling, t ravs were good. Then I had the catfish fillet with waffle fries & coleslaw. That was all very good. Hubby had fish & fries with coleslaw. He said it was all good too. Visited prior to a trip to Bonne Terre Mine. We arrived when they first opened. A little difficult to find the entrance. We just followed the American flag and then we found the entrance. Food was amazing. The chicken tenders were thick and juicy! Everything was cooked just right. Our server was very attentive and make sure we had everything we needed. We got a tea and beer to drink and had to try the Hub Fries which are waffle fries smothered in queso, bbq sauce, sour cream and pulled pork. That sounds pretty amazing but hubby says it was just ok...esp the pulled pork part which was really lacking in flavor. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger on an onion roll which comes with a side. I got the sweet potato waffle fries with a side of marshmallow fluff to dip them in. The burger reminded me of the Steak and Shake type in a good way. Nice size and really good...no complaints! I think giving it 3 stars is a bit generous but I didn't have the heart to give it 2. The fried pickles were good, although the order was kind of small. The other food, I got the patty melt and my other half got the catfish, we're just ok, at best. The burger was overdone and the catfish and onion rings needed a lot of seasoning at the table. This place gives meaning to the term "dive bar." I found myself in Bonne Terre for a fundraiser, and the group wanted to head to Hub's because it's apparently the place to be. The good news is that it lived up to the hype! I knew when we walked in and the ATM didn't work that it was going to be a good night. Service here is awesome, there's live music and as many ribs as you can eat. Be prepared for a smokey, loud atmosphere, with tons of people wanting to have fun. My friend and I ate there last Sunday the 8rh. I ordered grilled chicken Ceaser salad and he ordered a taco salad. He asked for nacho chips and she brought out potato chips and cheese. First off, the food was GREAT! I had the special-Beef Burgundy Pasta. That, plus a salad and toast for $8.99 is a fantastic deal. My husband had a bacon burger that he also enjoyed. Kids ate free, so it was a lower-cost, sit down meal. Service was also excellent. Sooooo....why the 3 stars? The SMOKE! We were on the Grill side, with NO SMOKING signs plastered on the walls. The problem is that the Pub side is (heavily) Smoking. And the only things separating the two sides are a glass door (that opens frequently) and a glass SLIDING window! The waitress and waiter used the window constantly, making the smoke billow in to the dining area. You know it's bad when your kids (9 & 7) are choking and asking to leave. My middle son begged me to never take him back there. My 3 year old's eyes were bloodshot and he kept coughing. Awful! Y'all, fix the smoking/venting issue! We won't be back until you do, and that's a shame. The food and service were superb, which is a rare find. read more

On Thursday nights after 4pm Hubs Pub offers 50 Cent wings, however they are no longer allowing carry out, even during a pandemic. I do not wish to eat in the restaurant but do you want to take advantage of the special but they will not allow takeout orders on the wings I believe this is ridiculous during this unprecedented pandemic. How many people that are not feeling well and wish to do the same will be eating in the dining room? I do not want to be in a dining room with people who potentially have the virus. read more

Hubs pub has some very good food and live shows when they had people singing. My daughter LOVES the lemonade here and my son loves the fries the only downside to this place is it smells like cigarettes in some places but it doesn't bother me too much. Some servers are very unfriendly tho but only a very few. I would recommend if you want some good food!! read more
