In 2015 Baxter's catered my wedding, and I'm still getting compliments on the menu, 2 years later. Everything from planning the menu, selecting the dishes and deciding on quantities was easy. They even helped with recommending additional serving staff and bartenders for hire (all were great!) They're knowledgeable about events and how to plan for all types of catering needs. The…read morebeautiful farmhouse accommodated five couples for the bridal party, and the day of the wedding, the Bridesmaids for hair and make up. Food was delicious! Dessert was pies, and they were delicious. The after-wedding bonfire was wonderful where friends and family relaxed with a drink, s'more and snack choices (by bride and groom) provided by the venue. However, there were several issues that we encountered during the day of the wedding, primarily involving the venue's owner. I feel that Leigh Clark, owner and planner, would serve her guests better if she didn't directly deal with them. From the get-go, while trying to corral our guests to the deck area for the ceremony because of rain, she belittled them and was condescending, making facial expressions and rolling her eyes, while using a microphone.... especially for our group photo. Guests mentioned to us that the staff began clearing the hors'doerves well before the guests were called up to the reception. The first issue was with the dozens upon dozens of our homemade cookies. These were outdoors several hours before the 5 pm ceremony.... many of which became soft and crumbling due to the humidity. No food should ever be left outside, uncovered. Tables were set, and water and wine glasses (for the toast) were filled in advance.... making the sparkling wine flat and the water warm. Furthermore, not one server visited tables in my immediate view...the whole barn...to refill water or wine. Red and white wine were to be served. We were also told that the barn would "be cool, trust me," (Leigh Clark). However, one corner fan was not turned on, the other was broken, and all the windows were closed. It was a hot day made worse by no air flow. I went to reach table stains the windows and told them to open them. It did rain right before the ceremony, but there was time during the ceremony to open these windows and create a cross draft. The flow of the evening was rushed and out of order and not what we had requested. The "money" dance was done first when it was expressly stated during the planning stage that the dance must be reserved for the very end of the wedding. At that point, the bouquet and garter toss, as well as the cake cutting, happened in short order. Leigh felt the cake cutting was an insignificant part of the reception despite us saying that it has been a fun tradition in our family. We also paid to have welcome bags set up for guests to take back to their overnight accommodations. They were completely forgotten, which puts me in a predicament of what to do with them. There are no handicap parking spots and no clear parking spaces. The venue needs this desperately, especially to make easy access for the golf cart shuttles. (Gravel can be spraypainted.) Leigh and her limited staff, along with our paid photographer, thought it appropriate to sit at outdoor guest tables to eat. Staff should never take seating away from guests, especially to eat. Ever!!! Sadly, many guests came to us during the reception, informing us that Leigh was rude to them, not knowing who she was. At one point, Leigh became highly agitated with the parking situation and golf cart shuttle accessibility. She was recorded by one guest exclaiming she was "f......g done." I was also told by Leigh as she carted me to the farmhouse to retrieve a pair of shoes that if I was longer than a minute, she would leave me there and I would have to walk back. (In the heat, in my gown.) When we came in Monday to retrieve leftovers, I was told that although the soft pretzels and pepperoni rolls can leave with us, the graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate could not because of food safety issues. With everybody touching both the pretzels and the s'mores, I couldn't see where the food safety issue came into play. We paid for these bonfire snacks and left with half of them.

The quality/talent level is up to par, but the customer service level, organization, and timeliness of this business are lacking. We did not receive the photographer we had requested upon booking. We also did not receive the correct type of photo booth that was discussed upon booking. The photographer that did show up on the wedding day was not utilizing the shot list I had provided/that he had on his phone. It was frustrating to miss out on some of the photos we wanted due to a lack of preparedness. In general, it was difficult to get in touch with questions. I called/emailed several times for a status update after the wedding. I received a long, snappy email with a mathematical breakdown of how busy Daniel is. I was told "I spend X number of hours per week answering emails like yours," If that were true I would have received a response much sooner than I did. A shorter, more polite/professional email would have sufficed. I understand Daniel and the team are busy, but I am a client who is paying for a service, and I don't appreciate the way I was spoken to. It is not my fault that the owner is spread so thin through photographing, editing, and answering calls/emails (as his email to me explained). It is moments like these where truthfully, I don't think Sensational Images was worth the trouble. Upon booking, we discussed that I'd be able to receive family photos back early (for Christmas gifts) and 1-2 photos for Thank You cards. After the wedding, I was told by Daniel in a condescending email that etiquette dictates that cards can be sent up to 6mos after the wedding. While this may be true, I would have preferred to send our Thank You cards out in the same year that our wedding took place. One of the pages in our photo book included the wrong photos with people's faces cropped out. I received no email or notification stating a problem, but I did receive an email saying the book was ready for production. I don't understand how ANY of the photos would not have been high-quality enough. They are professional photos. In the end, I ended up ordering a photo book elsewhere. The book was included with our package/an "added value" item. However, the item was not worth the value, and the hassle was not worth my time. I would not recommend Sensational Images. I feel that given the price, it would be a better experience going with a photographer who might cost a little more, but who treats their clients with professionalism, respect, and with timeliness in mind.

Daniel was perfect for our engagement photos as we had a lot of ideas we wanted to do. He let us try anything and everything with a little direction while still getting the photos he wanted us to take. The photos turned out beautiful. For our wedding photos, Roger was perfect for what we needed. We really didn't have any clue as to wedding photos we wanted. If we did, we couldn't remember them as it was a hectic day! As soon as Roger came into the church he started snapping pictures. His take charge attitude was perfect for the day. Everywhere I looked he was taking photos of something or other. He even crawled around on the floor at the reception to try and get a picture of us dancing in our boots. The ideas and previews he showed us were breathtakingly beautiful. He even stayed extra time that night to make sure he captured everything. He even asked us before he left if there was anything else we wanted pictures of. I can't wait to see our wedding photos!

I did not know exactly what my bouquets would look like for my wedding. We had discussed color, floral likes and dislikes and general shape-- but she had design creative liberty. And WOW. I got a response from Danielle and she immediately wanted to set up a call to figure out what we were thinking about and any possible information we could give so that her and her team could accurately put together some sort of proposal for us. Well, needless to say, Danielle spent so much time on the phone with me, getting to know me, my style, what I wanted for the wedding, my dress, the vision that we had, and truly understanding everything she could. She even understood that our budget was not very much to work with and she did not turn me away, she took all the information I was giving her in and collaborated with me on Pinterest, looking at different options and asking what I liked. She offered alternatives that would be more cost friend for our budget, but still had the same concept as what I was looking for. That experience alone made me appreciate flowers even more. I was thinking after the conversation with her that the proposal would be WAY more than we could ever afford and boy was I wrong! We got the proposal and we were blown away. Great pricing and it was ALL that we wanted and needed. Danielle's patience, determination, and friendliness was unmatched and absolutely impeccable from start to finish!
