We came here for breakfast at 11 am on. Friday morning on our way to Dallas. It is convenient as it has a gas station next door you can use before continuing on your road trip. The waitress Tarin was very attentive, friendly and had a good memory! She took our orders and was prompt with refills. The food was decent. My son really loved their breakfast burritos. My husband had the southern style Benedict and he liked it. I had a Denver omelet and I exchanged the hash browns with tater tots. The tater tots were sooooo crispy and yummy! Only thing is I would have liked cheddar cheese used in the omelet, not the American sliced cheese. Other than that, this is a great pit stop! read more

Ordered the Philly cheese steak and they had no problem with putting it on a brioche bun rather then Texas toast. Had the sweet potato fries. I was pleasantly surprised because I've only had breakfast at the Huddle House. I would recommend that they sweep the floors more often. read more

First time here. Coffee is good. Biscuits and gravy is good. Biscuits were fluffy and soft but a little salty. Service was good. Quite a few dead flies lying around but that's common for this area from what I've seen. Hubby got the southern smothered biscuits. He really liked it. Bacon was really good. This restaurant has the absolute worst staff, they over charge, & they have to look at the menu to even know what meal you want. I was asked my order 4 times within the span of 10 mins and all I wanted was an omelette w/ bacon instead of hash browns. That's it. Simple. They charged me $13 for my side of bacon (literally only 3 pieces of bacon) which came 20 mins after I had even received my omelette. Given this wasn't just a one time thing, i used to be a waiter and I u defat and how sometimes costumers can come on an unlucky day, well I had come back thinking maybe they were having an off day and this time I ordered the exact same thing the second time and my order was wrong again. Im cold natured and the temp was fine. The food was good, order was correct, waitress checked on me and kept the cup full. The place was clean, including the ladies room. My experience was dandy. We have been tent-camping for about a week and woke up to 40 degree weather and heavy winds making it unsuitable to cook on a fire.... so we thought we would treat ourselves to some real food. I was sort of sketched out by the fact this spot was located next to a truck stop / gas station... but it was actually pretty great. We havent had real coffee in over a week so that was amazing. If new to area, I would say any town in 100 mile radius of Midland, TX most places going be very short handed. Yes long waits, and takes while get food. ***THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD*** I went today at around 12:30 with my fiancé and two other family members and received the worst service I have ever experienced. First we sat down at a booth that was not clean, like the rest of the tables in the building, and she sprayed the table, splashing cleaner on us. She then took our drink order and took 10 minutes to bring them to us. There were two tables that were finished eating and one new table that came in after we did, so the  waitress wasn't super busy. When the coffees were brought, no sugar or creamer was brought with it and she didn't ask us if we needed any. Once she finished bringing some of the drinks, we had to remind her that there was additional drinks that she forgot. Next, we ordered. My Uncle wanted the meal that came with three eggs, bacon, sausage, and biscuits and an additional 2 pancakes. Stephanie suggested the pancake meal with an additional egg instead. It took 45 minutes to receive our order. During the tome we were waiting, we saw Stephanie twice. One of those times we had to wave her down and ask for refills in the coffee. Again, once she brought the coffee she did not ask about sugar and cream. Once we finally received our food, the meal that was suggested for my Uncle was missing the bacon, biscuit, and the additional egg that she insisted on getting. We checked the menu and the one she suggested did not include what the original meal did. We were missing the grits on one meal, the toast on another, and a glass of milk that was asked for when ordering the food. The loaded biscuit meal that I ordered was cold, as if it was sitting for 10 minutes before it was served. Once we brought this to Stephanie's attention, her mood changed for the worst. She still forgot the grits, that we just gave up on, and walked by and told us that the toast was in the toaster in an angry demeanor, never apologizing for any of her mistakes. She was not friendly and acted as if she didn't want to be there. No one there had any sense of urgency to get the food out in a timely manner or even offer drink refills. I never got a refill on the tea I ordered and she never offered drink refills. Again, worst service I have ever had. Rude waitress, cold food, wrong orders, no sense of urgency or friendliness and she only had two tables. Management was nonexistent. I do not recommend anyone going there and have already left reviews on any social media I could. This is unacceptable and needs to be fixed. We wasted $65 on service and food that wasn't worth half of that. Someone needs to each out to me about this. read more

The wait staff was really nice and very professional but the food had so much butter or grease I don't know what they use I saw the cook dump about half a cup of what ever it was into the eggs for my omlet. Quality food ruined by cook that is only concerned with slinging it out. Ordered breakfast and 2 of the 3 eggs that I ordered over- medium were undercooked and slimy. The third was OVERCOOKED! Never seen 3 eggs all cooked together in a small egg pan turn out that way. The biscuit was microwaved and like rubber. The hash browns were like the eggs overcooked on the outside and a mound of undercooked potatoes in the center. If I could give 0 stars I would. The service here is terrible. As one of only a handful of customers in the place, I sat for several minutes while people behind the counter just stared at me with blank looks. Finally a woman who identified herself as a dish washer came to my table. She informed me that she could only bring me a drink though. After a few more minutes the waiter finally showed up after chatting with other employees behind the counter. As he was approaching my table, a pair of men got up and left without placing an order. The waiter laughed about it. I placed my order, and was surprised that my food came out fairly quickly. But only part of my meal was brought out. As I got my food though, a group of 3 people walked out without ordering and the waiter laughed about it again. As I cut into my eggs I noticed that the whites were still raw. I had asked for over medium. I waited for the waiter to return and then showed him the eggs and informed him that I wouldn't be eating or paying for my food. I then got up to leave and as I was getting to the door another employee who identified herself as a manager asked me if I wanted them to cook me some more eggs. I declined and informed her of the terrible service that I had received. I will not be returning to this location and would not recommend anyone else go there either. read more
