the food was a 10/10 first time here and didn't disappoint. LOVED I!!! I got the spring rolls with a strawberry boba and hit different.

Well for starters I was excited to find a pho place closer than midland for me! The atmosphere was comfortable, and felt like being at your moms or grandmas. No pressure vibe, calm and inviting. The pho, while not the most aromatic broth I've had, was good and still curbed my craving. The dumplings were super good and the winner for me was the lemongrass beef sandwich. The flavors, whoa! The lady was all by herself, fast still and efficient and super sweet! Mind you their sign is missing out front and it almost looks like it's not there! Not quite sure why they claim to sell Italian. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Canned spaghetti sauce (fairly certain is more like diced tomatoes) caked in pepper. And the meatballs are something they might serve in mass quantities in a prison. I'm fairly certain the local school's meatballs are better. The best thing was the water, second to that was the "cheese bread." I'm just going to hope I don't end up with food poisoning... Don't waste your time and just get fast food. 1/10/20 Came here for dinner. Found this restaurant on yelps recommendation for the area. Upon coming here, seeing where it's located, made me apprehensive on what to expect, but it all turned out great. Wow! What a perfect combination of menu! Sometimes you want Vietnamese and sometimes you crave Italian. And you can have BOTH at this restaurant!!! The woman working there was also the chef and she was so thrilled to have me taste her food. I was craving alfredo chicken AND shrimp and she suggested I order Chicken Cremora with alfredo sauce over spaghetti with shrimp on top as extra. And it came out just the way I wanted it. The chicken parm sandwich was also delicious. We also ordered garlic bread with cheese and she was happy to give us extra marinara sauce. I even bought Beef with Rice to go from their Vietnamese menu for my midnight snack. I was passing through the town and were staying at a hotel and I knew I was gonna want some late night grubs. Service wasn't great and at one point they were questioning how much another customer was eating after he just ordered a little more rice. Food took forever and by the time I finished my dish, the other items came out for the rest of my family. When the rest of the orders came in the waitress asked if we wanted any chili to which we said no but she left it on the table anyway. Now getting to how the food tastes, the chicken was bland, very dry and sometimes had to cut along with the pasta sauce having an overpowering garlic flavor. The cold vermicelli did not have much flavor according to my mom and my dad said his sandwich is about a 3.5 out of 5. I saw the reviews and high hopes but this isn't a place I'll return to. read more

Food is great. Service is rude. Last time I was there I rang the bell like the sign SAID to and she came out of the back angry at me for ringing the bell. ?? She said I'm by myself, busy, cooking. I guess I was supposed to just know that?? Anyway she said I had to sit and wait. All tables were dirty so she cleared one for me really quick but I figured she was too busy for another customer so I left soon. However, the times that they have had staff and I've been able to eat there, the food is delicious. I recommend it often, so was disappointed to be treated like a nuisance. read more

I was very surprised the pho had such good flavor. The broth was good. Noddle a bit under cooked. The raw meat a bit bit of different taste (like bloody or something) but i still enjoyed it. Considering the fact it's the only pho place in Monahans I was impressed. read more

The Pho was quite good, but I think they had a hard time sourcing bean sprouts and such. I've never had Pho with iceberg lettuce as an ingredient. Pass on the Italian, it was mediocre at best. The service was good, but slow. It is very expensive for such a small town and the decor. read more

This place is great! It does not look like much but the owner and food is fantastic! Stopped in for dinner while passing through, we had pho and a Vietnamese sandwich. They were some of the best we ever had and we are from Houston. Was not adventurous to try the Italian dishes but some of the other guests did order them. read more

I love this place! Both the pho and Italian are fantastic and the lady who runs the place is sweet and always makes me feel welcome. I'm pretty sure she runs the place all by herself which, props to her! The Vietnamese shrimp sandwich with homemade mayo is to die for!! Our food was delicious. My friend ordered beef Pho ...she said it was the best she'd eaten and I had the chicken and rice with carrots and broccoli. Mine was delicious too. Odd combination, but this place NAILS both! Some of the best phõ I've had and the Italian food is top notch. The lady that runs it is super sweet and pleasant. Not a fancy place at all, but don't be turned off by the aesthetic. Great food and great service. 5/5 for sure. read more

Figured we'd give this place a try after seeing a few good reviews. My table of 7 all ordered Vietnamese food and many of us got the chicken vermicelli with the fish sauce. It was authentic, fresh and delicious! The chicken was seasoned well and super tasty. The noodles and veggies were fresh cut and cooked and the service was great! I will definitely come back for the Vietnamese food and would also be happy to eat their Italian dishes. Definitely a little gem in the sandhills of West Texas! read more

I love this place because they have a friendly staff that is very helpful! They tell you about the menu and give you many options when ordering. I love the Pho and I get mine with shrimp which is absolutely amazing! They are very fast getting out the food and awesome at making you feel welcome. Zero street presence. Ugly exterior. And ugly interior. I ordered the shrimp pho. My wife ordered the chicken alfredo. The restaurant appears to be a one-woman show. She's the server, the cook, the dishwasher, and clerk - all rolled into one. So I'll give her some credit for that. However, I found her customer service skills in need of improvement. When I asked if she had any chile paste (standard condiment at all pho restaurants) she curtly stated, "No!" and just pointed to the bottle of sriracha. The pho contained four prawns. One spoiled my appetite and provided a gut ache into the evening. It tasted as if it had sat on the counter too long - or did not get properly de-veined. On the positive side - my wife said the chicken alfredo was good. So it wasn't a total bust. I gave it two stars. However, if I compare it to the big city pho places I've been to, it slips into last place. Sorry. Gotta call it like it is. read more

I have been to this place twice now and both times were a complete let down! I order the chicken Alfredo and the chicken was cold. It tasted like a frozen meal. The service was very slow. It was very pricey for a disgusting meal. I would suggest to not eat here!!!! read more
