Food was good thanks to good cooks. Service was terrible. Manager was only waitress and she was lost. Our favorite waitress's hours were changed so she wasn't there. Won't be back on the weekend as we usually go each morning. Restaurant was clean. read more

My wife and I went for dinner one night after a Walmart trip. They weren't very busy but we were between lunch and dinner. I ordered a large breakfast. It was very good. It had bacon and eggs and pancakes and biscuits and gravy. They were good. Our waitress was very nice. We enjoyed the meal and then we left. The place truly is like a diner from the past. This place is awful. Unorganized, rude and careless people working here. I wish I could give 0 stars. I never complain, this is my very first - ever review. I understand the customer service life: I've lived it, I've worked it so I get it... I just can't keep my opinion to myself on this one. I've been to this place three times. My first experience (was in 2020); I took my young daughter here to eat together & the table right next to us got in a very loud verbal argument with the waitress causing a cook to come out from the kitchen and grab the waitress to take her outside. Ridiculous, yes! My second experience (2022); not too awful. Super slow, not that busy and waited forever for our food. My third (and my last!) experience was yesterday; I DoorDash as a side gig. When I got a to-go order to pick up from this place, I was very hesitant but why not? I walked in told them my customers name and they stated they had put the order the shelf already and it's gone. Someone must have come in and grabbed it. Shrugged their shoulders. I said so they stole my order? "I guess so." I asked them to remake the order, they refused. Basically said that it's not their problem. There was one other customer in this place at this time. It's not like they were super busy and didn't notice someone go grab a whole bag of food that wasn't theirs. They didn't care. And didn't want to make up for their mistake. We were very pleased by the whole staff, and the management who accommodated our party of seven, as we have been turned away at Frank and Linda's for being too big to be served. They only had one Cook and they did a great job with good food and excellent service. We took good care of our waitress. read more

If I could give no stars i would. SO disappointed at the crap I was given to eat. Ordered online because they won't pick up the phone. Picked up the order, and when I got home, they did not give me the bacon I was charged extra for, my omlette was burnt on the inside and no cheese in it either! I asked for a garden omlette, and they put ham in it! The hashbrowns were dried. The fried pickles were drenched in uncooked batter. The fries also had no salt on them at all. Couldn't even call to complain because they won't pick up the phone. I've been coming here for years, but it's gone downhill so much I won't be coming back. Huddle House food should never be cold nor the food cooked incorrectly. The menu is basic. The sign out front proudly displays an under new management sign. I have came here for years on and off and never could I say it was below par. That was till this evening. Long story short, the cook was arguing with an elderly lady that said all the ingredients weren't in her meal. She had the menu and with the proof in front of her but... she was wrong according to him. It went down hill from there. Only a cook and one waitress but this was more of a motivation issue other than a amount of work issue. My over well eggs had runny white and yellow, the waffle was cold and soggy etc...etc. Door Dash showed up and they were told they weren't making their orders that people had placed and paid for. We left and paid over six dollars for an unrefilled coke and an hours old coffee. Maybe the next manager will be better. This "new" one probably won't last long. read more

Service was terrible. Took an hour to get the wrong food. Then after three attempts to get things straight, it was still wrong and some of the food still hadn't arrive. Even walked to the counter to get pancakesthat somehowtook 1 hr and 20 minutes to make. Food was cold, heat was broken. Would not recommend at all. We ordered a to-go order and the man who took the order was very pleasant. Talked loud enough that I could hear him and didn't have to ask him to repeat himself. He even read it back to me. Our food was great! Ordered grilled chicken sandwiches and regular and potato fries. The food was very good and ready when we arrived to pick it up. Wasn't my favorite experience. The waitress was new and didnt have thorough answers to the questions that were asked, but she still tried her best. A special drink was being advertised; however, they had no more in house. The tots ordered were dry, the fries looked old and were cold, I ordered a melt with very light mayo; however, I got the sandwich almost overflowing with mayo. I wish I could give zero stars. Rincon and Springfield locations are owned by the same family and family members are employed and managing. For complaints contact corporate! I just had the most terrible experience here with my 2 children. They had half of the restaurant closed. In the section that appeared to be open there was one table with chairs on top. I attempted to take chairs off of a table and a waitress named Amber yelled that table is closed. I said ma'am I need to sit at this table so my toddler doesn't run around if thats ok and before I could even finish my sentence she was yelling saying THAT TABLE IS CLOSED!!! I said, ok, we are leaving and she yelled BYE! Like yeah go get out of here. I honestly couldn't believe what was happening. I have never felt so disrespected in a restaurant. Came in behind the breakfast rush. Only one clean table, in a bad location. Many vacant dirty tables. Ordered breakfast specials. Received part of order, waffles missing from both. Finally one waffle came. When asked about the second waffle, the server took off and brought back a waffle. It was burnt, obviously forgotten about in the waffle iron. My husband and I went there today and took our daughter to a late breakfast . Our waitress was new I think , and haven't we all been new at a job so her mistakes were sad but not earth shaking. Then it seemed our cook lost our orders and instead of sending her back to take it again they tried to do it poorly . My husband got his but us girl's were nowhere in sight . Then they brought a meal with sunny side up eggs and not our scattered and covered hash browns , No toast and sent it back for I ordered over light and our daughter ordered scrambled . Brought toast with the butter caked on but was cold so it would not melt on the toast . Sent a meal back with scrambled eggs but all was so cold like it was in a frig. The cook said it was not meant to go out on the floor . Sent it back then my eggs were right but not the hash browns and my daughter never did get anything . Never left a place without paying but we got up and told them to keep everything. No one ate for my husband did not want to eat when us girls did not have anything . Wanted to eat as a family. They should have checked with us about what we ordered and I use to me a waitress so know they should check everything before it goes out of their kitchen . Never seen such a mess and I am in the 70"s so i seen a lot of food service . Sorry for the people who own that Huddle House . Our daughter wanted to go to the Waffle House but we always ate at this Huddle House . Seen some mistakes but nothing like today . So we went home with no breakfast thanks to that Huddle House . Guess we will have to try the one in Springfield again and we went through a time with them for their cook did not make it in and this poor guy that worked there tried . We got that breakfast one item at a time . Eggs , pancakes , toast , hash browns , bacon . As I said one item at a time and not close together so that drove us to Rincon's Huddle House . So Cracker Barrel is not far away thanks goodness . Wonder if Rincons thought we all three did not want to eat for the cook stopped cooking for us so we knew our daughter was not going to get her's . what a mess .
