It was our first time there a week ago . Restaurant was super cute and sat right away. Our server Jolie was the best service we have had in several years. She was super friendly, funny , entertaining and very knowledgeable about the menu made great suggestions. She is a keeper . My side, Caesar salad was fantastic. They make all their homemade dressings and sauces. Side of Alfredo was super delicious. Our calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked tender, but crispy breading and the wasabi and white wine sauce was so good I wanted to ask for like five more cups of it. Best things first: would recommend their fried green tomatoes for an appetizer! the steak, cooked perfect, melted in my mouth and seasoned just enough to enhance the cut without being overpowering. Came with a herb butter on top that was wonderful. The chicken Alfredo was wonderfully done as well, flavorful where you might find a bland sauce at other restaurants. It also came with a delicious bread. Overall portion sizes are worth the price point Improvements: the seafood boils came with a lot of food but could have been more flavorful, cooked with seasonings rather than just having dipping sauces for your seafood. But still made with fresh shrimp crab and sausage that were cooked just right. The fried okra was ok, but would've been better if it wasn't fried whole but cut into smaller pieces, to give it a little more of a crispy aspect. For a Saturday evening they weren't too busy which was nice as we were a party of 6. The service was great, our waitress was very patient with answering our questions about the different types of fish they had. One of the better dining options in Rincon. Plenty of parking and plenty of options. We came here on a Sunday evening around 5:30 with a party of 7, including a baby. They have several seating options for little ones under 5 (booster seats and car seat holders). There are a lot of options for fried foods, but like the grilled and blackened options as well. Decent priced items with the option to customize your order. Small menu of drinks and a few cocktails as well. Really great service! This place is decent for what it is - there isn't anything that stands out. I do wish the mahi mahi sandwich had some sort of sauce or remoulade - that would have made it a bit more distinguished. Decent little place located in a strip mall. I visited for lunch and ordered the shrimp salad sandwich with a side of black beans and rice. They were out of croissants so they served the sandwich on Texas toast. This was fine, but the toast was so overly buttered the grease practically dripped off my hands. The shrimp salad itself was tasty yet there was not a lot of it on the sandwich. Black beans and white rice we're fine. Love supporting local and when the food is delicious it makes it that much easier. I would one thousand percent recommend the creamy crab stew. I could drink this goodness all day. The flavors are what makes the stew so yummy! Well seasoned and creamy with chunks of crab meat. I tried the steak special with 2 sides. The only seafood game in town, eh? Sigh.... We went with a decent-sized group, and were seated pretty quickly, but nobody took our drink orders for 30 mins, or brought half of our food, and we waited over 30 mins again for the bill. We probably could have walked out and they wouldn't have noticed for over 30 mins! Half of us ordered fried seafood, and half of us ordered seafood boils. The Tin Fin never disappoints. I recommended the Calamari, Onion Rings or Seafood sampler for Appetizers! Entrees I recommend the Fried seafood (shrimp, fish, oysters) it is always light breaded and seasoned, Fish or Shrimp Tacos, Chicken Fingers, and Hand Cut steaks. The salads are always fresh! I have never had a bad experience! I also like the house made sauces and dressings. The staff is always pleasant and helpful! The ambiance gives a sort of beach tavern vibe! It's a fun, casual well taken care of and well staffed bar& restaurant. Everyone was so friendly. Our server Liza helped us choose just the right combinations for us to share. Bacon wrapped scallops & fried green tomatoes! Delish! Followed by yellowfin tuna and a Fins Duo of shrimp & oysters - all cooked to perfection. We were a group of nine around 8 pm on 9/12/22. Our server, Addison, was wonderful and gracious, and the food was good, though pricey. Unfortunately, much the rest of the experience was unacceptable. Food delivery took more than an hour after ordering, though there were only a few others in the restaurant and a few picking up take-out orders. One order was missing an item and was presented differently than described on the menu. Some of the food was lukewarm. Three of us commented independently on how cold the second dining room was as we walked in. Several ended up standing outside in the 80 degree humidity until the food came, just to keep warm. One woman at the next table was wrapped in a blanket. By the end of the meal, I had moved from shivering to shaking that made it hard to get my credit card out of my wallet. We were told it couldn't be helped because the kitchen is on the same thermostat. Thankfully, a military discount was available to the three in our party who qualified, but the server had to get manager approval even when they showed their IDs. Servers should have that authority for a standard practice. The server was doing best she could and apparently passing on word of the problems. We all understood the challenges of low staffing, but it would have been nice for the manager to at least explain, apologize, or offer some kind of accommodation like a free appetizer instead of leaving the server to deal with the multiple problems. Go for the food but be prepared for a wait, and avoid the second dining room during air-conditioner weather unless you've brought bring a blanket. read more

The place looks like a chain but it's not. Very good food and a sweet server. The bar could use some improvement, but I'm a booze snob. We shared the crab stew, fried green tomatoes, and crab cake dinner. The crab stew was thick and creamy, with nice chunks of crab. Maybe a little salty. The fried green tomatoes, served with a dollop of pimento cheese, were delicious. I'm glad we were sharing and there were only 5 on the plate. I would have eaten them all. The crab cake was all crab. Once seated, the waitress wasn't the friendliest, when asking for our drinks (with lemon) the waitress brought out lemons in small service cups, covered in white fuzzy mold. I didn't make a big fuss but it was definitively bad for business in my opinion. The salmon I ordered was perfectly prepared which is the reason I gave the two stars. We were pleasantly surprised with our dinner considering it's a small seafood joint in a strip mall style building. We were seated right away but we never really figured out who our waitress was. A total of 5 different people came to our table throughout our meal. The first girl said she felt bad that she kept walking by and seeing us without even placing a drink order. After that, different girls rotated through, which was strange. The pound of crab legs were very tasty and I enjoyed the seasoning on the crinkle fries. Aside from my most recent experience...I truly can't say anything bad about this place. The service is great, establishment is clean, and the food is good. Here recently, I had to make it my last visit. Yesterday, I called it a lazy day, and decided not to cook. I called in a chicken finger platter, which ran me about 38 bucks. I figured it was a steal for what we were getting. On the way home, I ate some of the salad in the car, and tasted something ' off. I pawned it off on being sleepy, and carried the food home. I fell asleep and wasn't able to eat my salad that night...but boy oh boy, to my surprise when I opened it today..it was riddled with mold. I was beyond annoyed because not only did I eat the mold....It ruined my lunch, and I had to drive out of my way to return it. Moral of the story...don't eat in the dark...check your food in the light, and always trust your tastebuds. I was refunded for the salad, and given a gift card...but I don't wanna go back anymore. read more

First time dining here but not the last. For experienced seafood lovers like us this place is a hidden gem. We liked the beachy decor and loved the food! The lightly breaded shrimp were crisp, perfectly cooked and pulled out of the tail w little tug, The flounder aka "Fried Fin Fingers" were also delicious. Grilled scallops (4 on a skewer) were also excellent. The sides were pretty good too. Hush puppies were top-notch, my plate only came with two, and I would have liked more. The crinkle cut fries are plentiful, a little too abundant for me and I only at about half on my platter. Plenty to share with your mates.
