I can't tell you how many metal smiths and machine shops and forging companies we've contacted over the last three months. Cleveland Hardware was by far our very best experience during manufacturing conversations. Kevin Miller, the Engineering Manager, spent hours with me on the phone (if you add up our 4 or 5 conversations, lasting a minimum of 20 minutes each), discussing the project, understanding our manufacturing needs and requirements, and taking time to learn and understand the product. us, our goals, and our dream. A bar spoon is very different from the typical work they do (lots of hardware and intricate truck parts and other things - check out their website), but it shared some similarities as far as small parts and intricacies, and Kevin was excited about the opportunity to work on something new and creative and different. Most of the other manufacturers I contacted saw the challenge as a lot of undesirable work and a headache, and were happy to end negotiations with a curt email. Kevin really engaged with me on the project, even coming up with suggested design modifications based on his expertise. He even did independent research and emailed me links about bar spoons and the way they used to be made "back in the day" Long story shorter, Cleveland Hardware was my last chance to have this made in the USA, but due to factors beyond my control (e.g. no one wants to buy a $150 bar spoon, and that's what I'd have to charge to make it domestically), we're having to explore overseas options. Kevin will certainly be the first person I contact when I have a product that can be domestically made using their metal processes.

I contacted the name of the company that I found on the latch and spoke with a lady named Carola. From the very beginning she was very nice and so easy to deal with. She was able to help me figure out what I needed be me sending her a picture of the old latch the customer had. She informed me that it was no longer a latch they made, but they did have one and they were going to send it to me at no cost. They even went above and beyond and covered the shipping cost. I am very new to trailer parts, but I wish that every company that I called to order stuff from was this easy to do business with. I will be calling them again if I ever need any parts.

Called in the gentleman said yeah it's out of the warranty. And he would be lying if he never seen it before. He started they are completely junk . And its 2700. For a new one . I paid a window contractor that ordered windows from CL. Rudy with CL allowed the contractor to get…read morethe windows on credit even though Rudy stated to me later "that he felt it may have been a mistake" The contractor never paid the money and this resulted in CL putting a lien on my house. I never knew what supply house the contractor used until I saw the sticker on one of the windows after researching when I received a letter from a law firm. The lien was placed on my house because the contractor used my address. Just be cautious when dealing with Rudy and CL. I will never use or recommend this unprincipled,unethical company.

I explained I was leaving to go home the next day and they said leave your molding and your number it will probably be done tomorrow morning. They called within a couple hours and said it was all finished! When I picked it up, they advised the best product to install. Fit just like the original!
