Not sure if the business has new staff but it took me 3 visits before I was able to purchase a spare key for my car. 1st time I mentioned it, at check in. Upon check out I was told the person who does the keys was gone for the day. 2nd visit again at check in I mentioned I wanted to purchase a spare key, okay at check out no key. Again I mentioned it to him and he said they were gonna order the key and will call me in a week. No call was ever received 3months later I'm back again for my 3RD visit again I tell the gentleman I want to also purchase a key, okay he said. At time of check out guess what NO KEY. I said to him but I told you I wanted a copy of key when I Checked in and he replied that of I needed a key I had to stop by the parts window and order it there. Okay so he never told me this before and he didn't say it then either. I was talking to my friend and was telling her how disappointed I was with the service at this location and how I really need to find another GMC location because this would be now the 3rd time I'm asking to purchase a key. Don't know if he over heard me, but he came back with a key which I purchased. Not done yet. My car had the check engine light on i thought it was because I was riding around with the need oil change light on for a week. So when I changed the oil and light was still on i thought maybe I need to ride it around ( I don't know anything about cars)....After an hour, light is still on, I went to AutoZone they ran a code check and said it was a "Exhaust position system performance"... Today I call GMC to see of they know what that means and what can I do about it. They person who answered Ryan was not very helpful, didn't make any suggestions just said if I come on weekends they can't do any major work on car just oil changes and inspections, his tone was of someone who seemed annoyed by my call. I called another GMC service location located in Carmel N.Y and person who assisted me at the Carmel location was very informative..z she did explain that they do t do major work on weekends but I could bring in the car and they will run a diagnostic test and let me know what's wrong with the car and how much time they will need.to fix it and then they will work with me to set appointment for repairs. So I made an appointment with the CARMEL location and the Poughkeepsie location has lost a good customer. I prefer to drive a few miles further but get the service I desire and pay for 3strikes and your put Poughkeepsie GMC I won't be going to your location either when I'm ready to replace my car. read more

Being a single female, I had my doubts how well my "car buying experience" was going to be. On my first visit, I went with my 9 yr old son towards the end of the night. Staff quickly and warmly welcomed me and I was introduced to Justin Cook, who listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. Although I loved the Acadia, I was also inquiring about the Terrain. He gave me all of the information for both vehicles, including financing/ leasing options, and took the time to show the vehicles to me. That night I left feeling confident and well informed to make the best decision on which one was right for me. I also didn't feel pressured in any way throughout this whole process. My second visit was 5 days later due to my work schedule; once again, staff was there to greet me. I decided the Terrain was the better choice for me, so Justin took me to test drive it. Prior to test drive, Justin took the time to explain the car in detail and showed me what all the buttons did. I drove in residential areas as well as the interstate, and I was pleased with how well it handled. Justin never rushed me or disregarded what I said or thought and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. The next day, I went with my 3yr old son. After tying up final paperwork, I gladly handed the keys to my former SUV and drove off with my brand new Terrain, which I absolutely love. I want to add Hudson Cadillac Buick GMC is a kid friendly dealership. There was an area for my 3yr old to play at and both my kids were offered snacks and drinks to their content. I also had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Justin's father, Don. He was involved with pricing out my trade-in but he did more than that. Throughout my visits, we had many conversations and laughs. I felt like I was more than a customer. He also engaged in conversation with both of my kids, which I appreciate. Manny was another staff member that had friendly conversations with me. I never felt like I was left alone or forgotten about. If all that wasn't enough, Justin gave each of my kids and myself a gift! I'm honestly blown away with this place and will recommend to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. read more

I went into the dealership to find out about the 2015 GMC Canyon. I had been unable to find Chevrolet Colorados in stock anywhere to even look at. I spoke with Manny, who showed us around and let us look at various vehicles. I was very pleased with his low pressure approach while supplying a lot of good information. I went back later with my wife, and Manny allowed us to test drive a Canyon. However, I needed more time to think about it. I worked online sorting through the features available, and went back a few days later. At that point I believe it was Matt, informed me that there would be almost no hope of ordering a 2015 new build. Manny and Matt tried every possible way to find a vehicle that matched my specifications. After some discussion, and realizing that a 2016 would not have the same warranty, I asked about the Canyon I had test driven a few days earlier. Manny and I took it for another test drive. Knowing by this time that these trucks were in demand with low supply, and delaying a purchase may result in a significant delay, I needed to make a decision. Manny actually gave me time alone in the truck to call my wife and make a decision. Everything went very smoothly with the purchase. Everyone I have dealt with was friendly, helpful and seemed great to be around. The only thing I am waiting on is the installation of the steps and splash guards which I expect in the coming week. Simply outstanding. I am a car enthusiast and like to change my cars often. So, I've dealt with quite of few dealerships over my life (Mercedes, Infiniti, Lexus, Nissan, Mazda to name a few) and I have pretty high expectations. This dealership is the new benchmark I'm going to use to evaluate all my future experiences against. Completely exceeded my expectations. I purchased a Trailblazer SS from these guys sight unseen and had it shipped to Texas. Excellent communication throughout the process. Lightning-fast responses from Trevor (either email or text) - and I had A LOT of questions. Asked him if there's any rust on the undercarriage and got two photos (front/rear) sent to my cell within 30min of sending the request for information. Very impressed. The vehicle was damaged by a shipping company during the shipment and was inoperable upon arrival to Texas. Trevor went out of his way to make sure the issue is resolved - based on my photos/videos helped me identify exactly which part was damaged (it was an aftermarket transmission cooler) and sent me the necessary info so I can get it ordered. I'm still trying to get reimbursement from the shipping company, but if it wasn't for Trevor this entire experience could've been much more stressful. Battery died within 10 days after I bought the vehicle - contacted Trevor and they will send me a check to reimburse for the new battery! Outstanding customer service. I wish we had a dealer like this here in DFW. None of the ones that I dealt with come close. read more

You have probably never experienced a dealership like this unless you have bought a Bentley or Rolls Royce, I have had many experiences with this dealership. From leasing my truck, to servicing it to finally purchasing it off lease. There are other vehicles out there I like better then a cadillac or GMC, but because of the quality service I receive everytime I go there, whether it be dealings I have with Justin Cook or Ryan Farrel it is a simple no-brainer. Here is the most recent experience I had, my lease was up, I texted our sales guy Justin Cook, to let him know we wanted to keep the truck after the lease. I told him how long I wanted the loan for, etc. Took me all of 3 minutes to answer his questions. 2 weeks later I walk into the dealership to sign the papers to buy the truck, all the papers are sitting waiting for me to sign, everything was taken care of, I was in and out in 15 minutes. No hassle, no fuss, no stress, no hidden fees, no extra add on selling or anything, it didn't even feel like I was buying a truck. Afterwards I found out that Justin Cook was not a sales guy anymore, he was the manger, but he just went and took care of us personally. What does that tell you about the quality of the people at this dealership. Because of these experiences I am heading back to them to buy more vehicles. My 'low tire pressure' light came on as I was driving my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP and so I drove to Hudson's to have them check out my tires. Dave Brown responded immediately while I waited...and then...the bad news...my tires had dry-rot and leakage was causing the loss of air pressure. I needed 4 new tires! Dave and Ryan both ran a computer printout recommending the best tires for my high-performance car. They special-ordered the tires while I was there and they received them the very next day. Dave called me immediately that morning and arranged to have Ryan come to my home, drive my car to the Dealership for the job to be done, and then bring my car back to me a few hours later, with absolutely no inconvenience to me! I've had the pleasure of dealing with this dealership since 2012. I leased an Acadia when another dealership tried a shell game with me. I purchased a brand-new Cadillac XT4 Premium Luxury at the end of July of this year. My salesman was Mike Graff and he worked hard to locate he exact car I wanted. Unfortunately the car developed a very serious transmission flaw shortly after purchase which resulted in it being out of service for an extended period of time. The dealership reacted excellently. My service advisor Ryan Farrell kept in constant communication with me. Cadillac ultimately replaced the entire transmission and I was supplied a brand-new loaner car for the duration. Michael Mullaney, the dealership's owner, saw to it that I received a large check for my inconvenience when I returned to pick my car up. This was something I had not requested and still amazes me. As unfortunate as this experience was in the end Cadillac stood by its product and Hudson Cadillac, Buick & GMC stood by me as its customer. I purchased a used Cadillac. I wanted to bring it to a dealer when the 'check engine light" and "tire pressure monitor sensor light" came on. I stopped in at Hudson to make an appointment, and was very satisfied with their prompt and courteous attention. When I arrived on the service date, they checked me in right away, and they gave me a courtesy shuttle ride back to work. They kept in touch with me to let me know what was going on with the car. They called me when it was ready, told me the amount of the bill, and their shuttle service picked me up. When I got there, once again, they took care of me right away. The price of the bill was more then fair. They are very friendly and easy to deal with. I will return there again for service when its needed. read more

When I enter a dealership for service, I not only consider my own satisfaction, but I look at other customers to see what their satisfaction or frustration level is with the service. I bought my Cadillac DTS at Hudson's and always have it serviced there. They did a Service II on my Cadillac as scheduled. I had requested them to replace my brake light bar, and service my transmission that wasn't requested at the time of my appointment.
