The professor, caught between admiration and resentment, said: "She writes like a cultural critic." Yes -- because I refused to write like a student rehearsing slogans. To write like a critic means to let language think where the institution cannot. In the end, I withdrew not from the course, but from the scene of false enlightenment -- where the "open mind" is just a polite way to close the Real.

I had Professor Clark for two classes one semester. I took those two classes with a few internship colleagues. I called Professor Clark out to the dean for not answering any of my emails about the homework assignments that I needed more time on. He was answering my friends emails but mine. He ended up giving me two -C's while everyone else received +A's (we worked on our assignments together over discord and I still did not receive the same grade as everyone else). After I reached out to the dean, Professor Clark finally answered me back but very rudely, "There was no need to go to the dean about this issue." Clearly I had to because you're finally answering me now. One math class I took had a Professor who spoke Arabic, not full English yet. She was a very nice woman, but if she didn't know a word in English. She would say it in Arabic, expecting everyone to know wtf that means. She also wasn't able to understand what a student was asking her when they needed help with a problem. I ended up helping that student because I was able to understand what he/she was struggling with. I took a computerized accounting class. We utilized QuickBooks. Students get free access to quickbooks I was struggling with my account and I was not spending $300 just to do assignments when Ik I can do it for free. It took the school the whole semester to figure out why I didn't have access. Once I finally got access, there was a week left of the semester. My professor told me, "if you hand in all of the work, I will not mark it late". I finished a whole semester worth of work in one week just for him to grade them as late and for me to receive another -C. Like I mentioned before, I took an internship. It was called YearUp. It helped me grow a lot and I'll forever be grateful and proud that I put myself through a year of hard work. One thing that really got on my nerves was when we were going over racism this one day. One of the coaches who was presenting decided to call white people, pigs. As soon as I heard that, my stomach dropped. I wanted to say something and tell them how I felt about what they just said but I knew if I said anything, I would've gotten thrown out of the program. They just kept going with it too. The school takes your money and on day one of the class you are unable to withdraw without losing it. The workload is extremely intense and most business professors are not interested in helping the students. There are many technical requirements that are not posted in advance and you are left on your own struggling to figure it all out. I have found that many professors are highly unorganized, unable to spend time helping and don't take the time to learn the course they are teaching or learn English/proper grammar. Currently, I am taking a Statistics class. I just spent 8.5 hours completing the first test had a technical error and failed to count all my answers. Instead of reviewing my test and the answers, my lazy professor's response was "Just take it again." Sure, I have another 8.5 hours to redo this! Thanks for nothing. Also, the technical requirements for this homework are incompatible with my computer's software. I am 6 classes away from graduating and fear this is the end of my road here. Very depressed. Lots of time and money are wasted at SPS. I am beyond disgusted with this institution!

I have been interviewed by large companies for entry level positions in customer service/business development nobody judged my worth based on the degree. Most of the professors are good. They also have virtual extra curricular activities which allows you to make connections and network. The bad: I did not receive adequate preparation for an actual job in the media industry. I did do a journalism internship, but the school did not focus enough on teaching students to use specific styles of writing. The career center should be more familiar with what types of jobs alumni end up taking. The financial aid department needs to be on top of their game. Suggestions for the school: The curriculum would have been more useful if we had classes on topics such as a 3 credit course on SEO (instead of one week unit within a course) or a 9 credit concentration on web design with at least one or two coding courses instead of a 3 credit course that barely scratches the surface. Spend more time developing an alumni network and make sure career services and financial aid are on top of their game.

My student advisor confirmed in writing (via Slack DMs) that my final two payments would be canceled and not charged. Weeks later I received an email saying they planned to charge me anyway. They also deleted my student account and removed me from their Slack, which blocked me from accessing the very messages that confirm the cancellation. My request for a copy of those DMs was ignored. I immediately sent a formal revocation of payment authorization and notified my bank because these attempted charges could have overdrawn my account by $1,000+. Fullstack cited a "no refunds after 6 weeks" policy, but in my case they are using it as a loophole to demand money after telling me in writing I wouldn't be charged. This has caused significant stress and wasted hours of my time. I've filed complaints with the CFPB and the NY Attorney General. Policies aside, trustworthy schools honor their written commitments and provide students access to their records. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this program. If you're considering it, get everything in writing and be very cautious about autopay authorizations.

When I was submitting my application to take the exam, he offered to review it before I submitted which I really appreciated. If you are thinking about going for your PMP, take this course with PMA! The amount of information on their web portal, the information they physically mail to you, and the weekly tutoring service that is offered are all great. Believe in yourself and take the leap to get your PMP. It won't be easy, but PMA will surely help you achieve your goal.
