I called this Business, Johnson's Electric, to have a Flood Light Camera replaced as well have a…read morebracket replaced on one of my Ring Doorbell. Having order a new bracket for the Ring Doorbell because the one I had was so tight I could not get it detached from the wall when it needed to be recharged, they operate off a battery. When Johnsons put in the new bracket, he let me try it but then took it, off the wall saying something about the screws. I wasn't sure what he was. referring to and because I recently had a mini stoke wasn't up to standing there so trusting them to do what they do I didn't say too much and went back in. They had also removed the one on the front door to change it to the backdoor. I felt confident that the job was done properly. however, that wasn't the case. I checked both door bells a couple of days. later as I was getting notices that one needed the battery to be recharged and that's where the problem started. When I tried to get the doorbell away from the bracket it had been done in such away it was impossible for me to get it released after it was worked on a little more when I stepped away. They were told this was the reason a new bracket needed to be put in because the old one would not release from the wall. After I couldn't get it from the wall to recharge, I called and the lady who took the work order for that visit made an appointment for them to come out that next Tuesday and try to fix it for me. Not only did not show up for the appointment they have not answered any of my calls to ask why they had not returned. For the $200.00 it cost for the 1/2 hours' worth of work I paid without question you would think they would not have left it in such a state it made it even harder to detach then it did before the work was done. I can't recommend Johnson's Electric for this kind of effort and lack of answering the calls when they told me before leaving if I had any issues to call and they would take care of the problem but instead no respond. I have a muscle disorder similar to ALS so the strength in my hands is not normal and knowing this and being left in such a state was totally unprofessional as well as costly.

Well since the day I've posted this review I have regretted it. They have now taken close to $60…read moregrand and nothing more has been done. They never got permits approved we recently found out. They have "no-showed" 3 appointments and now refuse to give me my money back. Police report filed, consumer complaint filed and now my family suffers because we not only lost 60 grand but now we have to try to figure this out ourselves. I would never recommend doing any sort of business with these folks.

They essentially abandoned the job, been after them for months to finish the work and they can't even come up with a plan. They left the basement a mess and left a bunch of trash in our driveway. Their subcontractor tracked down my wife looking for money claiming he hadn't been paid and they are unable to account for the money I gave them and won't refund it. The work that was done was horrible and not to code; no tape on drywall joints, corners cut everywhere. I am now paying a new contractor to rip it out and start over. So I am out $50k with nothing to show for it. Again, do not give these people 1 cent.

The heater was leveled when we turned it on. However, the fan was hitting something causing a racket. We had to tilt the unit to a 30 degree angle for it to stop. Not good. I could not reach the company's support. I went inside to email them. When I came back out, Tommy had discovered the issue and fixed it. The issue was a manufacturing fault. I called handyman to fix a leak. Water was getting into my microwave through the vent. They were…read moreunable to fix it but charged me around $200 anyway for the attempt. Before the work was started, they said if it wasn't fixed they'd come back out. After getting paid, they said their work was not guaranteed. They compared themselves to doctors who get paid regardless of wether or not they solve the issue. They said they would come back and look but never showed. Later, I diagnosed the problem myself and had a contractor come out and repair the issue. While it is true they charge similar to doctor's rates, the similarities end there. Understand that if you hire Mr Handyman, you are hiring unskilled labor to work by the hour. If you know exactly what needs to be done and you need someone to shovel a ditch for me instance, they would probably do ok but expect to pay a lot for a ditch digger. #mrhandyman is not so handy.

Which was NOT an issue. What IS an issue to me was I was then met with the comment we don't wear ponytails or have chains on our pockets so we stay pretty busy they are clean shaven. I was confused with the comment so I asked him if my request give him the impression that was what I was looking for, but also why would a ponytail and a pocket chain make a person less professional? Call another company. This one couldn't have been less professional if he tried.
