    The UC staff was very helpful and professional. Office is very clean, lots of parking. Recommend this place 100%.

    Terrible. Called in advance and confirmed walk in. Traveled to the office and was refused because the previous patient is running late.

    Was in and out relatively quickly. Staff was very helpful. Social distancing was in place and kindly enforced.

The front desk staff was perfectly nice and friendly my first visit, my visits with the doctors were also initially fine and good. Ive been dealing with a chronic issue, and appointments are really annoying to make. Results come in on MyChart, but apparently I'm not supposed to make appointments via their own app because I've now had two appointments cancelled on me the day of (for different reasons, and the first one that was cancelled was done so rudely and abruptly). I am used to going to NYU Langone (also uses MyChart) and have had pretty seamless experience in making appointments, getting results, and having follow up on results. In the couple months I've been going to JCMC Womens' Health Center, the experience has been lacking on the customer service end and in the convenience of making appointments and getting test results. I've already felt dismissed by the nurses ? or medical assistants? twice now. Sharing this frustrating experience as a red flag and warning.

It's almost impossible to get someone on the phone. What if a patient has an urgent need or question? I can't imagine being pregnant and dealing with the inability to get ahold of the Dr's office if needed. The lack of response / no answer has been over several months, not just a one time instance. I tried over several days and at different times months a part with the same result - no one answers the phone. That in itself was enough for me to decide to change where I wish to receive medical care and have since found a wonderful practice that actually answers the phone and without the bad attitudes.

Based on that representation, I proceeded with the MRI. Afterward, I received a bill for $500+. When I followed up, I learned that they never actually contacted my insurance company to verify coverage, despite telling me they had. I called four separate times to try to resolve this. Each time, I was told that someone would call me back to review the error. No one ever did. The lack of follow-through and accountability was extremely frustrating. Especially since had they have been upfront about pricing, I would've chosen a different imaging provider. Adding insult to injury, I was also informed that they were sending my claim to collections, even though I was waiting on them to respond to my requests to adjust the bill based on their staff providing incorrect information. Adding to my concern, the MRI itself took about 10 minutes, which felt unusually fast. Given the billing issues and failure to verify insurance, this raises questions about the thoroughness and reliability of the NJ imaging network. Transparent pricing, accurate insurance verification, and basic follow-up are not optional in healthcare. This experience showed a serious lack of professionalism. I strongly recommend avoiding the NJ Imaging Network.

When I finished I was informed that the cd burner was not working and told to come back tomorrow. I ask if they would be ready and was told yes. I ask fir a number to call and make sure they were ready. Two days later I called to make sure they were ready. It took me 20 minutes to get through and get an answer. The answer was that the machine was working! Not my question, I ask if the discs were ready. I was told they would have to contact the center again and they would be ready. I arrived to pick up the discs and only one was ready. I was told they didn't know and I would have to wait 10 minutes foe the other disc, making me late for my doctor's appointment.

My wife is currently in extreme pain from severe migraines. She saw both an internist and a specialist, and both prescribed the same MRI. This center managed to mishandle her file to such an extent that we still do not know if she will get the imaging she needs on time. Here is the timeline of their failure: 1) They mishandled the initial pre-authorization from the internist. 2) When the specialist prescribed the same MRI, New Jersey Imaging Network recommended we call insurance to cancel the previous request. This was terrible advice. 3) They never followed up on the new request while lying to my wife that the pre-authorization was in progress. The negligence is stunning. I got the insurance company and New Jersey Imaging Network on a conference call today. The Center tried to blame my wife for having a complicated file. Then, they admitted nonchalantly that their pre-authorization team only looks at the first page of the file. They misled a patient in pain for over a week simply because they did not read past page one. The staff here needs to be more empathetic and thorough. I hope management reads this and fixes their broken process immediately.

At Hoboken radiology you have a private room with TV to relax while you drink the contrast. The woman who did the procedure was amazing and caring and sent me home with a goodie bag of warm socks and PJs. It was such a kind gesture that I still tear up when I think about it. Sadly, as a chronically ill patient it's rare in a medical setting to be treated so well. I'm so happy to have found this location in Hoboken.

Granted, I had low expectations of this place - it's an imagining center in the heart of the Kennedy Center in Union City, so by no means was I expecting 5-star service. However, I have been pleasantly satisfied with both experiences. So far, I've had an X-ray of my foot and an Ultrasound of my Thyroid. These are obviously two non-invasive procedures, so if you are coming here for a different kind of test, I can't speak to that. Both times I had an appointment - I was able to create an account and easily book it online. The company sends several reminder messages via text and also allows you to upload everything right to the portal, including your insurance and the order. When you get there, they just verify everything. (You can walk in with a prescription, however this place definitely gets very, very busy.) My first appointment was a Wednesday at 4pm for an x-ray of my foot. They had called and asked if I could come in earlier (since there was no one else on the schedule) and I was happy to do so. I walked in at 3:30 and the place was absolutely packed with people - like standing room only. It took a few minutes just to get checked in, and I was like, "There is no way I will be getting out of here in a timely fashion!" However, I was pleasantly surprised - the tech took me right away and the x-ray was done with no issues. The tech was incredibly mindful, polite, and knowledgeable. I was out in under 30 minutes. My second appointment was an ultrasound of my thyroid. I went when I was off of work, and so I was able to get in in the morning. The place was a lot less crowded and quiet. My appointment was at 12:30, and ironically I did wait a little bit longer to get in to see the tech - but I was out by 1, less than 40 minutes all together. The tech was great - she made me feel comfortable. Both images/ reports were uploaded to the port within 48 hours, and were sent to my doctors. Honestly, no complaints about this place. I got done what I needed to get done with minimal issues, and every staff member (from the desk staff to the techs) were great. I even accidentally dropped an item in the office and a staff member called me right away to come claim it - I didn't even realize I had something missing. I can understand why someone would want to go a place that is 'fancier' than this imaging center, but for what it is - it gets the job done!
