Spent the afternoon here today. It's a growing festival, so there are growing pains, but all in…read moreall a lot of fun. There is a line of tents from different vendors on the main drag. At each end is entertainment, one end had a kid zone with pony rides and bouncy houses, the other end had a guy giving helicopter rides. The helicopter was annoying at times, since it buzzed the festival, but otherwise not too bad. no idea how much it cost, we were there for the cupcakes. In the middle was a stage with pretty cool bands, and some food trucks. Prices were ok, but the LINES WERE WAY TOO LONG because there were only 3 or 4 trucks. We had BBQ from Handsome Devil BBQ. Pretty decent food, pulled pork and ribs were authentic bbq. they also had other stuff including mac and cheese and chicken fingers which hit the spot. Odd thing was that you could only buy drinks from one vendor, so you had to wait on multiple lines. They had portajohns with hand washing stations outside, and they were all kept pretty clean. and there were tons of garbage cans everywhere, so you were never at a loss for one. There were lot's of tasty cupcakes from a ton of vendors. More than we could sample. the ones we tried were all good, but after a while, even for a guy with a sweet tooth, its all a bit too much. The cupcakes were pricey - $3 each. The parking was a little hectic, and the roads were dusty, so when cars went by it raised this huge cloud of dust, but other than that it was a great day.

So much fun! Cupcakes are awesome! Great day with lots of vendors! Highly recommend it!read more

It's like a 3 hour ride for us, but so worth it! So many vendors, so much food, so many cows. Seriously like 200 lol! So many animals! 300 vendors if not more. 250+ food vendors! If you want a new belt buckle, a new cowboy hat, a new car, a tractor, combine, gutters, septic, life insurance, coffee, flagpole, shed, lawn ornaments, bed, and so many other items, this is the place! Huge selection of everything. Huge selection of shows. Huge selection of food. Get the bratwurst!!! Tons of other things to do as well. Seriously so many, way too many to list! Honestly if you have nothing to do when it's here, go, spend the day. Learn about animals, watch a show, eat some good food! Come one come all!

This review is for the ArtRider craft fair, that weekend…read more There is a better selection of better quality crafts on sale here. Many take credit cards. For some reason there were more than the usual glass, blowers, and glass crafting people. Some of the pieces are definitely museum quality. The sitdown restaurant is there, as well as several food trucks from which to choose. It's a "Rain or Shine" weekend event.

Had a fun fall day at Weed Orchards and Winery this past weekend with my friends!…read more First off, I'd recommend buying tickets online beforehand because they are cheaper when you buy them online. Upon coming in, you will be guided by the workers on where to park. The parking lot is on a field of grass right in front of the entrance. Prices on the bags vary depending on whether you're apple picking, grape picking, or flower picking; as well as the size of the bags. This orchard consists of different types of activities such as fruit picking, hay rides, dining, drinking, playground for kids, and a small animal farm. They have plenty of drink options like, beer, wine, cider, and non alcoholic beverages. Their cafe menu is limited, but they have a food truck if you want more options. My friends and I ordered... 1. Black Cherry hard cider on tap: This was good; not too sweet and not too strong in terms of alcohol taste. Rate 7/10. 2. Chicken tenders w/fries: The tenders and were fries were average; it tasted like your classic tenders and fries, nothing special. Rate 6/10. 3. Truffle Fries: These were yummy! They had a strong truffle taste which was delicious. Rate 8.5/10. 4. Beef Empanadas: This included 2 empanadas and they both were very tasty! The flavor was great, and the breading was super crispy! Rate 8.5/10. *all the food portions were a generous amount; however; they were a bit pricey.* Lastly, they have a small bakery w/ their baked goods, homemade jams, and ice cream. From their bakery we ordered... 1. Apple cider donuts: These come in 6; they were warm and soft, and had a great apple cider flavor. Rate 7/10. 2. Peanut Butter Cup Cookie: This was delicious! It had a strong peanut butter flavor which I love; and the cookie was nice and soft! Rate 8.5/10. Overall, this orchard is such a fun place to spend time with friends, family, partner, and your dog since it is pet friendly! There are so many awesome things to do, and lots of perfect photo opportunities! I'd definitely recommend this place for those who are looking for an exciting fall activity to do!
