Having received an excellent recommendation from a friend whose mother had been cared for by Lifeworx caregivers, we decided to contact them. It has been so reassuring working with them. Their employees have been reliable, professional, and above all have the ability to work with someone who is extremely challenging. On the rare occasion there is someone who is not the right fit, Lifeworx has found a replacement person who is willing to meet the challenge! Brian has gone out of his way to make sure we feel comfortable with the caregivers. We spent many years trying to manage staff on our own. When an agency that is genuinely professional takes over, there is no overstating the difference. We are still involved in our mother's care but we are not trained caregivers. When she had to take a few days off ( unexpectedly) for a medical issue, Lifeworx quickly sent another very capable aide to fill in. That is UNTIL I called Angels on Call. They were able to place an amazing caretaker with my father and not only has his quality of life improved so has MINE! The staff gets straight to the point regarding any changes with the schedule and the nurses have been wonderful with the training for my father caretaker. I found them to be unprofessional, untruthful but most importantly the care and knowledge was inferior. Stay away from this if you care about your loved ones, I wish I had.

As a result, they have an obligation to try to keep their customers happy. We needed a companion for our beloved family member and while we were a little shocked by the cost, $600 a night, we hoped that the companions who we hired would be empathetic and hopefully we'll compensated for their time. Overall we were very satisfied with the companions as well as the customer service. One thing you should know. If you arrange for a companion and your patient ends up getting discharged from the hospital, you still have to pay the full price for night. No refunds. So I'd advise waiting until the afternoon before reserving a companion or nurse, since once you order the service you are committed to pay the full price.
