28 miles of boardwalk and paved trails from beaches to marshes/meadowlands to woodlands. Scenic views, swings, bike repair stations, bike and Segway rentals. Sunny and shady trails with restrooms, parkour area and more. Lots of trailheads with parking. Only drawback is weak signage to find trailheads and parking lots. The Rosemary Dunes trailhead is just pass the Visitor Center, next to Indigo Hotel. Restaurant on premises, too.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! One of the best hiking/bike trails I've ever been to. Lots of wildlife including alligator, snakes, turtles, eagles, and armadillos. Although we did not bike the full 28 miles we did do a lot

    Armadillo!!

This was a great, unexpected outing for the family. We were just driving by and decided to stop and check it out. We hiked Catman trail to the butterfly garden and then came back up Cotton Bayou trail. Lots of monarch butterflies along the trail and lots interesting vegetation including cacti!! We even got to see an armadillo, but no cat-man. Boys loved this, and just about everyone we came across greeted us with a "good morning" and were very friendly. Looks great for recreational bike riding as well. My only wish is that there would be better wayfinding along the trail. Could have used maps, and most of the trail directions I saw were handwritten on temporary signs.

This is a wonderful walking trail. We took our kids with us and we found so many interesting things to look at.

Love this trail! It's so beautiful and full of natural attractions. On one ride I saw a Bald Eagle and on another an alligator!
