Took my first class with Mike and it was awesome! Mike first reviewed my form for all of the major strength exercises and corrected me to make sure I had proper form so I wouldn't injure myself. Mike then gave me exercises to work on and instructed some how to do so during my class. Between exercises and sets, Mike took care of all of the weight changes and j cup adjustments, allowing me to take a break and grab water before my next set. Towards the end of the class, Mike went over certain exercises I should be focusing on during the week. Mike also provided me with a detailed meal plan to make sure I'd hit my goals. I'd highly recommend having Mike are your trainer and he's very knowledgeable and makes the class enjoyable while pushing me to my limits. Mike has been my trainer for 3 months now. My sisters, my mom, and myself do group training with him three times a week at the self-made training facility in orange and it's definitely worth it! He asks us what our goals are and he comes up with workouts that are best fit for us. We work out hard but have fun at the same time! We use the InBody scale for our weekly weigh-ins. I recently had a baby via C-section in February of this year. I was nervous to go back to the gym. I wanted to make sure I was doing my routine correctly so I wouldn't open my incision. This review is long overdue. I have always been on the fence about hiring a personal trainer. I knew the cost could be steep, my own schedule was demanding, there could be frustration in trying to find the right person, and feeling like I could always just go work out on my own... why would I need a trainer?
