I've been training here for about a month and I love this place!!! I found Training with Dave by driving by and I'm so happy I found them. My trainer Braedon is awesome!!! I was dealing with knee pain before starting the program and it's been improving with these work outs. He is really good at adjusting the workout if I'm having any pain or issues. I've have also trained with Stefan and Jacob (Irvine) and they were awesome as well. The results have been coming quick, just after a few weeks I lost 5 lbs of fat and gained 4 lbs of muscle. I've worked with trainers at corporate gyms in the past and I feel like they just wrecked my body. Everyone here is very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I've been going to Train With Dave for 3 months now, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. My trainer Braedon is truly one of the best and has made all the difference. He's incredibly attentive during our sessions, correcting my form and pushing my goals each week. I'm a competitive person, and I thrive off challenges and raising the bar. Best decision I ever made! My trainer is Braedon and he's been guiding me through my workouts with proper form and weight workouts I would've never done on my own. He explains the movements and gives you an understanding of which muscles are being worked. I haven't been able to get under 153 for years! So earlier this year I tore my plantar fascia and was actually going to physical therapy next door. I heard really good reviews from my physical therapist that Train with Dave had some happy clients. I was anxious as I was recovering from an injury but my physical therapist told me any good trainer would know how to adjust. I had just received my tax refund and I was ready to find a trainer. I'm gonna be 30 this year and my older brother is getting married in August. It was time to lock in. I was set up with Stefan and thank goodness I was. He is the sweetest person I have ever met and I really felt like I built community because of him. Bri is a client AND their main point of contact for setting up paperwork and payments and I grew so close to her. Her and Stefan made working out fun again for me. I was so happy to come and work out and it never felt like a chore. The workouts are tough but very do-able. At train with dave they want to make sure it becomes habit, not just a phase. For my final 12 week photos that I've attached, I'm supposed to wear the same outfit but I was in the middle of moving. Adrian 100% puts up with me Workouts- I have the WEIRDEST physical limitations that he works around. In the past with other trainers their only solutions were to help me stretch my shoulder/neck or to work through the pain which has sent me to urgent care more than once. In addition to making it difficult for me to work (I travel a lot and the luggage is no joke). When my shoulder starts flaring up he knows to ask me "is it tiring or in pain" because we both know there's a difference. We work around the issues to modify workouts, or try new ones. But he doesn't let me whimp out of workouts. He knows I hate weighted step ups with a passion and adds it every time, then laughs at me when he asks what's next on the list . Nutrition- I have a very busy lifestyle, and he texts me to remind me to get my protein in and such which is nice because sometimes life gets in the way and I go for whatever is convenient lol. He understands my lifestyle doesn't always have the most options for healthy meals (I'm in 2 hotels a month due to work and survive thanks to DoorDash). But I know (and have) can text Adrian and ask what is the best option from a specific place to try and make a smarter decision. Environment- we have fun! We change up the music once in a while, sometimes it's the big booty playlist, and recently a little disney and some warrior type music idk . Ive also become friends with one of the other girls he trains because we all workout together. Because of my travel schedule (along with one of the girls he trains with me) we sometimes have to adjust the schedule which is never a hassle. Also we roast each other. That is honestly one of the most important factors is that he roasts us, but can handle getting it back Overall as a plus size woman who has trained with multiple trainers within the past 5 years, adrian is my fav. I have had trainers assume I wasn't taking things seriously, told me to work thru the pain (injuring myself more), companies that kept switching trainers every 2 weeks and more. So far with Adrian (who's trained me since October 2023) I have lost around 60 pounds, gained new gym buddies, and am getting ready for my next pageant (which includes a swimsuit competition) and know I'll be just fine with Adrian as my trainer. read more

I would consider myself somewhat fitness savvy but I took a break while dealing with a health condition and wanted some guidance as I re-started my weightlifting journey. Adrian was my trainer. I highly recommend Adrian. I have hEDS which is a genetic disorder that causes me to be extremely hypermobile and have joint pain. I'm a returning member! I came here back in 2021 but I had to stop due to a health scare. I came back in late October after gaining some weight. Between changing jobs, going back to school and having some family emergencies, I had put my health in the back burner. I had gained around 20 lbs and was starting to feel all my clothes getting tighter. I finally said enough was enough and made an appointment with Dave for a consultation because I was ready to get started again. My journey to be in the best shape has been a rollercoaster after marriage and kids. I've tried Noom, virtual trainers, intermittent fasting - and I've always yo-yoed. I've gone through ACL and Meniscus surgery and COVID like everyone else and now being 41 - I realized I needed in person accountability that communicates with me in real time and not from another country and time zone. I started my journey with Braedon at 201 lbs and 22.1% body fat in January 2025. The heaviest I have ever been. Decided to go all out 4x a week and really stick with the transformation even as a busy executive with 2 kids and constant traveling. 2 months in - I'm down 10 lbs and at 16.5% body fat and with my horrible luck, I tore my Achilles tendon. I conveyed I didn't want to stop and Braedon was great enough to adjust my workout to continue my journey in my cast. He adjusted my calories (even harder on a vegetarian diet) and one month later, I'm down to 180 lbs and abs are finally starting to show up. Braedon has been absolutely critical with my journey so far with the right motivation and push, but most importantly he took the thinking away from me and is always communicating with me in real time. I am writing this review to share my deeply disappointing experience with Train With Dave in the hopes of warning other potential clients about the handling of serious incidents. I joined Train With Dave in September 2023 with high hopes and a goal of losing weight. My trainer, Chandler, was dedicated and supportive, and I was making steady progress. However, during a regular training session on February 15, 2024, I suffered a serious injury that resulted in a dislocated patella and a torn medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL). This injury required an ambulance to take me out of the facility. Following this traumatic event, I expected a certain level of support and follow-up from Train With Dave's management team. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Despite Chandler's efforts to check on my well-being, there was a complete lack of communication from the management team. I later found out that Dave had suggested reaching out to me (ultimately HIS company and HIS name), but Mike, the manager, decided against it, thinking I needed time before they contacted me. As a result, I was left to navigate this difficult situation on my own. To make matters worse, I was billed the very next day despite being unable to attend sessions due to my injury. I had to proactively contact them (Kelly I believe) to pause my billing, which added to my frustration. On top of the emotional and physical distress, I had to undergo surgery to repair my MPFL recently after weeks of physical therapy. I had to have lateral release + MPFL reconstruction with an allograft and now face thousands of dollars in medical bills (ambulance, physical therapy, surgery). Throughout this entire ordeal, Train With Dave failed to provide the necessary support or even a simple check-in to see how I was doing. It's ironic that they are quick to take credit for their clients' successes (it's true all of their claims are "if you want the best look at the reviews!" but are nowhere to be found when a client is injured and in need of help. While I appreciate that Chandler did his best under the circumstances, my issue lies with the management's handling of the situation. This experience has left me feeling unsafe, unsupported, and ultimately pushed further back rather than helped. I am not even back to "square one," rather it feels like I'm at square -1. In conclusion, while accidents can happen, it's the way they are handled that makes a difference. Train With Dave's lack of support and communication during my time of need has significantly eroded my trust in their services. I urge anyone considering this facility to be aware of their handling of serious incidents before making a commitment. Update: no constant calls or emails were ever received proof in Mike's email. And really? You took me off billing? Further update: In original response Dave claimed they canceled my contract, now that I posted proof, he edited his response and removed that Part and wrote this resumed your billing on the 26th sentence instead. No integrity. So here's further proof they also tried to bill me on the 8th of March. Let's remember Dave said they had it resume on the 26th of April. In the past couple of years I have lost around 40 lbs and I wanted to start toning my muscles. My goal wasn't to loose weight but to tone and pretty much keep my weight the same.
