Both were broken. After the work was complete there was $600 more charge than agreed (i presume this was electrical work because no itemized bill was provided). The unit is only 14.5 seer. Perhaps these verbal agreements were forgotten and not intentional deception, but this is still unprofessional if so. Work was not up to city of Grand Rapids standards (or even the installation manual for the unit), it took 4.5 months of phone calls to them and the city to get them to fix the mistakes. I had to look up the electricians they subcontracted myself as ACR never even made an effort to update them. Eventually, through much stress on my part, everything worked out. Unit works fine, and did from day 1 of install, probably an ok business to work with outside of the city. So 3 stars despite everything. If you live somewhere without municipal codes, permits, and inspections they do ok work for what is probably a reasonable price. Just follow some advice: 1. Insist on a written contract with all promises and costs up front. 2. If you have any inspections necessary make sure the contract specifies they do not get the full payment for the work until the inspections pass.

What an amazing experience we've had with Grapids! From start to finish the process was wonderful…read more Todd came out within hours of calling to get a quote to upgrade our furnace and add AC to our home. Our furnace was over 20 years old functioning but a bit of a head scratcher. Additionally we needed to upgrade our electrical panel. Grapids was able to subcontract that for us too. Tyler and Eric came out the very next day (bright and early) and spent the day reconstruction our HVAC system. Prior to their arrival we decided to add a humidifier to the unit. The office was seemlessly able to add that to our work order. Todd swang back out to check in on the progress and make sure we were happy. Throughout the day several members of Grapid came through to bring supplies and check in. The stars of the show were definitely Tyler and Eric who worked until after 7pm to complete the HVAC job. They worked well together and I could overhear them as I graded papers upstairs. They treated each other with respect and humor. It was so refreshing to have work done in our home by such wonderful people. They even took the time to FaceTime with my husband who was at work to show the final product and answer all of his questions. Without hesitation I will recommend Grapids (specifically Todd, Tyler and Eric) to anyone! I came back to add we had quotes from three different companies and Grapid was under the others AND included upgrading our electrical panel with one of their subcontractors.

repeat customer here that will never do business with a shady outfit like this ever again. 3 out of…read morethe 5 times I hired this company to do work they reschedule. The first time was not a problem the repair wasn't urgent. The second time was a repair that needed quick attention. I called the day before to schedule for the following day. I received a call late afternoon after taking the day off because they don't give you a time slot just a heads up call usually 30 minutes from my past experiences. The reason for the cancellation was kinda weird they actually said we have received calls after we scheduled you that required urgent care they are more important and must be handled first. who the heck tells a customer that. they basically said you don't matter in my opinion. The third happened today. I don't know why I even bothered giving them another try. I gave them the tenants phone number along with mine stating somebody will be available all day just give a heads up call in advance. They tried calling the tenant first she was having trouble with her cellphone provider and calls kept getting dropped Her husband was home at the time nobody knocked on the door so it was obvious they just tried calling. I finally received a call I was getting dressed my phone announced who was calling so I immediately grabbed my phone and read the message stating I had 5 minutes to return the call or they wI'll cancel and I'd have to reschedule. I immediately called. I have a screenshot showing the time I received the call and another one showing when I returned the call less than their insane 5 minutes heads up. I was told I had to reschedule. I told them I called before the technicians crazy 5 minute warning and I can prove it. I mentioned that this is the 3rd time I've tried to do business with your company and you have canceled on me totally unacceptable. I'd like to talk to your manager. The manager said she would get someone out today. The technician got to the place which has a crawl space. No way could that large man crawl from the back of the unit to the front. I did tell them in advance about the crawl space they have already worked on the place once. The tenant saw him squeeze through the opening 2'x3' he was only under there for a couple minutes definitely not enough time to crawl all the way to the front of the place and take a video and some pictures an definitely not enough time to diagnose the problem. He called me with a price gauging bill of $2200 to replace a P-trap a couple short lengths of schedule 30 it's a modular home they didnt use schedule 40 a couple unions and some other inexpensive fitting. This was the second time they price gauged me. The first was a $55 part from klose electric and labor in and out of the place in an hour $975. I originally told them no way I'll pay you for your service call. The technician said let me make a call and see what I can do. He came back almost $100 less it has a furnace that needed to be repaired so I agreed basically paid $800 for 1 hours work horrible price gauging. I should have told him to pack up his stuff and leave. Don't walk run away from this shady unreliable unprofessional business. I will be telling this story on every platform service professor is on to hopefully get them to get rid of the employees that are ruining their reputation and business

Numerous local plumbers in the area have cleaned my sewer drain approximately 8 times in a nine month period. Whitney plumbing and Trout plumbing recommended that my sewer be replaced. Unfortunately, Whitney plumbing nor Trout plumbing could not find my sewer line after digging up my yard. Then on February 23, 2024, a friend of mine referred me to Tim Roger's Plumbing, who is located in Allegan, Michigan. Which is approximately two hour travel time round trip from my location. Fortunately Tim Roger's Plumbing arrived the following day. The two plumbers were very professional and courteous. They cleaned my sewer line with two different size cutters and I was astounded with the result. Their expertise was superb. Thanks to Tim Roger's Plumbing my sewer drain is draining properly again . I recommend Tim Roger's Plumbing to everyone who needs professional plumbing services. They are definitely number one in plumbing.

At the end of the project, dude charged me another 1k for labor due to switching my furnace and stove from natural gas to propane. I shoulda known and done better but being new to my first home build I didn't realize I was going to get hussled. I understand it takes experience and time but 1.5kfor 45 minutes?
