I've been coming to this thrift store for years and it is now apparent that I will not be coming back ever again after seeing how much they want for used damaged items. They comp there prices from eBay and screw local people in need. If you want to stop the resellers, atleast look at what's wanted and selling before you price something so outrageous because I ended up just ordering the same exact thing, undamaged might I add, off eBay with shipping included for half the price! There were so many options for me to choose from on eBay but yet this thrift store, that's saposse to be helping the animals, wants to overprice and not work with customers to get a sale to keep a customer! Very nice thrift store supporting the humane society . They had a variety of stuff my friend bought a cup and I bought some funky fabrics to reupholster a foot stool for only a dollar . The store also had cat beds and lots of dog stuff . read more

The Humane Society operates two thrift stores, this one in Sebastian and one in Vero Beach. The Sebastian store hours are Mon.- Sat. 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. Donations are accepted: Mon. - Fri. 10:00 am - 3:00 pm and Sat. 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Proceeds from this thrift store goes towards supporting the Humane Society's adoption centers. Last year they rescued close to 4,000 pets. You can help them in their mission to save pets by fostering, adopting, volunteering, donating, and shopping. You can shop their thrift stores, their All for Paws Boutiques located in the lobby of adoption centers, or if you shop online, for example Amazon, you can can have them make a donation to the Human Society when you purchase items. The Humane Society also has a wish list of items they would like donated. I enjoyed my visit to this thrift store. They have quite a variety of items including, home decor, furniture, clothes, art, crafts, collectibles, accessories, home goods, pet items, toys, books, movies, and holiday decorations. My favorite find was a like new Ronco Showtime Rotisserie for $50. I cook my Thanksgiving turkey in it every year. They stopped making them and they have become a collectors item. The olive martini flip flops gave me a chuckle. I also loved their craft corner, great for teachers to pick up inexpensive supplies. This is a large store with jewelry, clothing, purses, shoes, sports items, luggage, housewares, kitchenware, Christmas decor, and more. Prices are very good but items are often dusty or worn out. I did find a newer small wine rack for $1, though. read more

The last time I went here, they said they do not offer a Senior Citizen discount anymore, they used to on Mondays. They have very high prices for the most part and the place honestly is not very clean. A lot of people with carts block you and many bring dogs here, it seems very unsafe with all the dogs. You may find a deal or something interesting, it is hit or miss. Not one of the best thrift stores in the area. The one on Main Street by the tracks is better as it is cheaper and does not charge tax since it is a church, I donate all my stuff to this church thrift as they are more fair and nicer people. I rarely go to Humane Society as much anymore, as I liked the SC discount and now their prices are so high and they have no discount for us older folks. read more

I regularly shop and donate items to this location. the last two visits, December and today, have been disappointing at best. In December i dropped off several items - both donation i in take personnel were extremely rude - they barked out contradictory orders to those of us donating items... Put items here no they go there... No, thank you just grunts! Today same thing - 1/10/23 at 12:15pm / the dark long haired woman was totally put out that myself and one other donator had the thoughtfulness to donate items! encountering such a hateful rude person is hardly what you expect at a donation center. its all about the animals the donations support. She even went as far as suggesting we take our items elsewhere as she had too many donations today! Seriously, not someone who needs to be working at this center! read more

I finally got a chance to check this place out and l was very impressed. Beautiful selection of clothes, furniture, books, pottery and just an overall cool place to be. I have a fondness for the Humane Society, l have adapted several pets from them in my lifetime and they have been the absolute best pets. I presently have my dog that l adopted from the Humane Society in Savannah. Everyone who volunteers here is very friendly and they make you feel right at home. The fitting room is very clean and roomy. I suggest you browse through one day and see what they have. You may even find me there doing a little volunteer work. Come on by and say hello . read more

I been several times to this thrift store. They are kind , helpful and considerate. They have gone up on some of their prices , but I guess every one has. It does make it difficult on people who really need it. Otherwise, you couldn't ask for better service or selections. read more

We shop at the small HS on CR512 in Sebastian and we have found some good buys. They recommended checking out the larger store in Vero on 20th. Just perusing a few items I couldn't believe they were Thrift store prices. They wanted $18 for a used mens shirt of mediocre quality. $20 for worn sneakers, etc. Both my wife and I combed the aisles from different directions and met in the middle within 5 minutes and had reached the same conclusion. We were priced out of the store and purchased nothing, reminds me of how Goodwill jacked up prices and we will not be returning. read more
