So many choices! First time sample flights fit the bill!

Visited this place (cough-cough, after work hours!) a couple of nights during a business trip. Staff were super accommodating to us cider newbies and gave us their favorite picks as a nice starting point. We opted for flights of tasters and almost none were disappointing! Honey was a bit over sweet as my coworkers informed me. So many great sour flavors and nuances to be had. Some memorable include Cherry, Friends with Benefits, Imperial Blueberry, Smoke and Mirrors, and Dank Vader. Atmosphere includes lively locals, chill vibes, a small selection of games available to keep you occupied! Can't wait to bring the missus by, she loves fruity/sour! Until next time!

Love, love, love their ciders! We are in town for a short time and have visited their tap room twice now! We have been to Eureka twice before, the first time was 2017 and tried their cider at the local fair. Sadly I can't get these anywhere close to home, so it's a nice treat when we are in town. They had so many different styles and tastes. If you like cider... even if you don't, stop in and try a few. You just might be surprised. If you go to the tap room, they are open on a Monday. Both times we were here, people came in with their own food, so get a bite to eat and stop here for some great ciders. You won't be disappointed!

I've been drinking this cider for a while at Gilman brewery in Berkeley and was so excited to be up in Eureka to visit. Our bartender was super friendly assisting us as we were overwhelmed with excitement. The tasting option is perfect for the indecisive (me) and allows you to taste the depth of their menu. All are delicious with a variety of sweet, tart and dry. They also have wine and beer for those not into cider. We went a bit crazy getting cans to go! Fav ciders: passion of the fruit, Macintosh, drysdale, con with a dog, the assistant (light seltzer like), friends with benefit

Such a great place to sit back and relax! I stayed in Eureka for a weekend getaway, and a few friends and I tried a total of 10 tastings. Each little cup of cider is ~$2 with the exception of specialty ciders. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming, and there's some board games in the back for customers to use as well. Will come back next time I'm in the area!

Incredible ciders & some guest taps, too.

Embark on a cascade of flavors with depths of complexity! Little something for everyone, from dry to sweet. All very balanced and well executed. The environment is flowy and welcoming.

Favorites of the sampler passion and cherry

Definitely try the Humboldt Cider Company Tap Room. Siders are beyond delicious. Nice cool hang out spot. Try the cherry cider and the fruit of the passion cider.

Great atmosphere with a friendly bartender. I only wish it had been stated on website or yelp that no one under 21 after 7pm. We had to split up our family because we really wanted to try this cider place before we left town the next morning. Sally Jamaica cider was surprisingly delicious and the chocolate cherry lived up to the hype.

Cool craft cidery! I came in on a Saturday afternoon - right at opening time - which as I recall I think was 2:00 pm. I sat at the bar and ordered a tasting flight of ciders: Friends With Benefits (6.9% ABV) Imperial Blueberry (11.0% ABV) Drysdale (6.9% ABV) Humboldt Blend (6.5% ABV) Rants & Raves Whisky Barrel Aged (7.6% ABV) There are a whole lot more cider options to taste than these five, but I limited myself to 5 as I was driving. I want to say that there were as many as 20 or so ciders to choose from. I enjoyed all of them, but I especially enjoyed the Imperial Blueberry, the Humboldt Blend, and the Rants & Raves Whisky Barrel Aged. How can you go wrong aging anything in Whisky Barrels!? The young lady working the counter was nice and personable. She did manage to splash me with some cider while attempting to fill a growler for another customer. Oh well, probably good for my skin! LOL! I'd love to come back and try more cider selections! They also offers some area craft beers. #HumboldtCiderCompany

I found this place while searching for "breweries". I thought I'd treat the wife as she prefers ciders to beer. This place is EXCELLENT!!!! I would return here before going to a craft beer place any time!! The ciders are delicious, the selection is huge, and the service was great and friendly. The whole atmosphere of the place is very inviting. We left with a growler of the Honey Cider. We will definitely be back!!!

Honey $2. Imperial Blueberry $3.25. Dick Taylor and the Cider Factory $2. We Aren't Allowed To Call This Pommeau 4 oz pour $9.

I came here and The Local Cider Bar on back to back days. The other has the added benefit of sharing the space with Slice of Humboldt Pie, but this is a cool place to chill and enjoy cider too. Similar options of pour sizes to customize your experience. I think their ample sample aka amp samp is also 4 oz, but not 100% sure. Honey amp samp $2 Dick Taylor and the Cider Factory amp samp $2 Imperial Blueberry amp samp $3.25 We Aren't Allowed To Call This Pommeau 4 oz pour $9 - This one is a dessert apple wine, rather than cider. I feel I liked the chocolate cider at The Local Cider Bar, but since they are both from Humboldt Cider Co it could be the exact same one for all I know, and that pie really influenced my mood that day. I liked the honey the most of this batch, as I really did taste some honey flavor. Pepperoni Bialy $5: Frankie's had run out of these when we visited earlier in the day, so we were excited to get to try it here. Seeing it reminded me of how I loved bagel bites as a kid. Unfortunately, I was left underwhelmed. The toppings were fine, but I just didn't feel they complimented the bread that well. At least my curiosity was satisfied.

Pretty casual and chill with music playing at a decent level for conversation. Arrived an hour before closing on Sunday to an almost empty bar which quickly filled up. Check out the boards to see what's on tap; a sad face means they're out. Fill out a card and try a flight of up to 5 "ample samples", which are around 4ounces each. BF and I got buzzed surprisingly quick after a few sips. Take a growler home of the one you really like (mine was Cherry). The growler is a cool souvenir style jug that features the artwork they have on their walls. We'll definitely be back on our next trip up north!

The cider is great! The taproom is not dog, friendly, so we weren't able to stay. Unfortunate, we would've liked to taste more!

Unfortunately the bartender was not helpful and made a rude comment upon our departure so we can't buy this company's products any longer.

A must stop for cider enthusiasts. Good selection of locally produced cider and regional beers. Prices were beyond reasonable.

Delicious! Sad they are only open 4 house a day, won't be able to stop and get more before we leave town.

The vibe is exactly what you want from a coastal brewery--casual, beachy, relaxed, and just the right amount of bar energy. I ordered the French dip, which was delicious and piping hot, although it was a little saltier than I prefer. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos, and apparently they were so good that I am now concerned about the stability of my marriage. He literally declared that he was leaving me for the chef. I guess the tacos were that good. The shrimp tacos came with fresh, flavorful salsa that really stood out, and everything arrived hot and quickly. Our server absolutely was friendly, attentive, and FAST--which we very much appreciated. Getting the check however took FOREVER! I think our server went out to lunch. :/ And the beer selection on tap? Lots of choices, and everything was served perfectly. Overall: great food, great beer, quick service, fun atmosphere, and apparently life-changing shrimp tacos. If you're in the area, put Lost Coast Brewery on your list. Just keep an eye on your spouse if they order the shrimp tacos. Apparently that's where things get dangerous.
