They have 2 different areas you can have your ceremony, I choose the smaller back yard which gave it a very intimate feel. There is a huge back yard area for seating and the reception so it's all at one place. It is all covered with big gorgeous trees so you are shade covered even in the hot valley summers. All of the grounds are wonderfully maintained so the lawn, flowers, trees, shrubs look incredible all the time. They have the perfect white lights lining all of the trees to give it that secret garden feel once the sun goes down, complete with chandeliers hanging from the trees as well. The facility has tons of easy parking, a great bar area, food set up and tear down goes by without even being noticed. Service is great. Rest room area's easy. They've got a bridal sweet where the girls can get ready and store their stuff. And the whole area makes for great photos. They even have a large tent in case of the odd chance of rain. Besides being an awesome location in the middle of no where they are a one stop shop so they make the planning a breeze. I planned my Valley wedding from San Francisco so it had the potential to get a bit frustrating, but dealing with Gail and Adonas was incredibly simple. They did the food, drinks, flowers and event. They have worked with all the DJ's in the area so set up for that is simple. You meet a few times to talk about the colors, and ideas you have for decor and ta-da - it's done! They are the utmost professionals and up until the day of I just thought, well this has been way to easy - something's going to go wrong. But the entire event (other than my DJ not showing up) went smooth. Even with the crisis of the DJ being a no-show they kept their cool and had my back the whole time trying to keep me calm and do so some-what successfully. I highly highly recommend Nuckols Ranch for any nice event, weddings are perfect, but even dances, reunions or any big gathering, they will do an excellent job no matter what. It makes me wish I could have another wedding just to enjoy a party out there again : )

It immediately set the tone for our stay. We arrived early from Los Angeles knowing check-in wasn't until 3 PM, and we had a wedding at 4 PM about 20 minutes away. The front desk let us know they'd try to get us in early but couldn't promise anything before around 2-2:30. Totally understandable! We headed over to Denny's for a quick bite, came back around 1 PM, and to our surprise, our room was ready! And what a room it was, beautiful and very spacious. The beds weren't crammed together, there was plenty of room for clothes and suitcases, plus a closet, bar area, Keurig, microwave, and refrigerator. The bathroom was also impressively large, perfect for two women getting ready at the same time without bumping into each other. Breakfast the next morning was another highlight, honestly, way better than expected! Eggs, sausage, turkey sausage, potatoes, bagels, muffins, yogurt, juice, pancakes, you name it. Even cereal! I wish I had taken pictures. A huge shoutout to Sadie at the front desk, she helped us at both check-in and check-out and was so kind, friendly, and professional. Truly outstanding service. A million gold stars! If she's not already a manager, she absolutely should be. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We travel often and stay in many nice hotels, and this was easily one of the best experiences we've had. I only wish more hotels were like this one!

I felt secure as well as my vehicle. The walls were thick enough to muffle the sounds of the crying toddler next door and stomping children in the room above. Lucky me. The rooms were modern and updated, aesthetically beautiful. Clean. Lots of USB charging ports. Relaxing vibe. My room had two queen beds. The mattress was medium- not firm and not sink in soft. The room included a microwave, safe, fridge, microwave, ironing board, iron, tv, K cup machine with coffee K cups, tea bags, disposable cups/lids. The room setup also included a closet, with hangers, clothes drawers, desk, office chair, and lounge chair. The bathroom water pressure was great. The water heated up quickly. They use unscented Dove products. T The pricing is on the higher end. But that's HIE for you. Comparable pricing to other HIEs. The hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, fitness center, work computer center, free WiFi, clothes washers/dryers ( not complimentary), and filtered water machine next to the fitness center. The elevator is tiny. It seems to barely hold three adults with luggage and that's standing cozily next to each other. The fitness center is small. It has two treadmills, elliptical, and free weights. The lounge area also serves as the breakfast dining area. It has a TV and hot coffee, hot water, tea bags, and hot cocoa packets are complimentary throughout the day in the lounge. Free breakfast included. It was quite a spread. + Pancake - self serve machine + bite size muffins (banana nut, choco chip) + slices of bread (white, wheat, wheat English muffin) + bagels (3 different kind) + fruit: bananas and apples + cinnamon rolls + cereal: Raisin Bran, Frosted Flakes, Kellogg's red berries + instant oatmeal packets + mini egg and cheese Omelettes + bacon + sausage patties + biscuits and gravy + hard boiled eggs ( refrigerated) + juice machine: cranberry and OJ + whole milk and almond milk + coffee I was able to choose plenty of items to eat that avoided dairy and HFCS. Plus shout out to the breakfast attendant, he was busy working. Non stop. Cooking more hot items to refill. Cleaning the dining, food service , and food prep areas. Sanitizing in between. Doing this all very quietly, could barely notice he was there. Efficient and stealthy. All within walking distance is a gas station and mini mart across the side street, Dennys across the parking lot, and Aldi grocery store and eateries across the main 190.

Long line but when we arrived to the front 5 minutes, we kept getting skipped and bartenders were helping their friends in back of us. I asked if we were going to get helped 10 minutes later and they tried to ignore me when finally the one that let everybody cut in front of us, nodded yes that he would help us and still Didnt. They are building a resort and we will not visiting that or this casino again. If you aren't their friends, take your ice chest. Oh ya, by the way the security guard that was literally standing behind us and these drunk girls that skipped the line (that should've been cutoff) and did nothing. I forgot to mention that when we walked in 2 guys were walking out a girl but had to pull her skirt down and pick her up to take her outside.

I was very disappointed when I made the mistake of attending this year with my wife. The "home town" atmosphere is gone. You might as well call it a Carnival! There are no "local" cooking booths, as in the past. Not much to look at in regards to displays for the older folks. It does not even come close to what the old fair used to be! I was born and raised in Porterville and have attended many Porterville fairs since way back in the sixties. This year, sadly, will be my last! I will miss the fun...but the fun is not there anymore!!! It is apparently geared for only the kids now!!! I will now only attend the Tulare fair in the future. It still has that "home town" feel! Sad day for Porterville!!! Oh...the animal auction was at least a weak reminder of the fairs of the past. But very tightly quartered! The food that was offered for sale was extremely over priced for the portions....and we declined to partake. Obviously it was geared to take advantage of customers and was not of good quality! But...that...I guess... is what u get at a Carnival venue! GOOD BYE PORTERVILLE FAIR!!!!
