We went during happy hour for apps so of course we had to order their crab Rangoon's. We also go some egg drop soup which I love because it is on the thicker side. I ordered the peanut butter chicken and my fiancé got the orange chicken. This place is mostly quiet. Large booths and tables for if you don't like the booths. The Orange chicken would have been better hot rather than lukewarm and the chicken seemed to be about half fresh and the other half quite a bit older mixed with the fresh chicken. Wow! I had forgotten if I had tried HF before but now I'm sure I won't forget. I don't eat sushi but was in the mood for Chinese and decided to order Delivery from HF. I got my two favorite Chinese dishes, Mongolian beef and Almond Chicken. They were both incredibly tasty and affordable! I usually like almond or cashew chicken with grilled chicken but HF came breaded and I actually really really enjoyed it. It wasn't heavily breaded to the point you can't taste the chicken, the sauce was really flavorful and just enough crunch with the almonds and water chestnuts to not make it so heavy. The Mongolian beef was also delicious. I've had some seriously bad Mongolian Beef in my days and this was one of the best I've had. We were visiting Omaha and tried this restaurant. I have worked in China many years and Hunan is one of me favorite cuisines. We were a little concerned when we saw an entry door that was covered in dirty handprints. I was more so when I visited the Men's restroom with a door falling off the hinges, two dirty urinals and another blocked with DoorDash tape and covered in flies. The food server was very nice when she took our order and the dining room looked very nice and modern. The food arrived in reasonable time and looked well portioned but- The food tasted like frozen dinners. I asked for moderate spicing and ended up with globs of red pepper scattered randomly throughout my dinner. The Kung Pao sauce was oily and bland. It tasted nothing like that I've had in China or this country. My wife's Cashew Chicken was similarly tasteless. The worst part is today when we both have unpleasant reminders of bad food. Normally I love getting DoorDash from here but tonight I found METAL in my food. A staple to be exact.

I have eaten here twice and ordered different things each time. I have not liked anything yet. Honey walnut chicken tasted like chicken with honey mustard, orange chicken was small diced and barely had any breading on it with a very boring sauce. I love the remodel! This place is really nice inside. There's plenty of tables & booths so we didn't have a wait during our lunch visit. Our wait staff was quick to take our order & we started out with soup, which I had Wonton soup; that I thought was the best I've ever had! The noodles are large square dumplings that has tender meat inside. I ordered a few sushi rolls for their lunch special-3 rolls for $14 & includes soup! My favorite is their Spider roll. Their rolls are filled pretty big-definitely a mouth FULL!! My friend ordered a chicken & rice dish that she said was very tasty. I seen big pieces of chicken & lots of veggies. Firstly, it was a Grubhub order and Hunan forgot the ginger/wasabi mix with my sushi. When I contacted Hunan the young girl hung up on me. The same girl who I had just spoken to earlier before I placed the Grubhub order and told her I wanted 2 sweet & sour sauces with my crab rangoons they only sent me one. I also clarified with her that my order would be sent with the ginger/wasabi mix and she said yes however it was not sent with my order. Also I got the Spicy Maki Combo with wonton soup. The wonton tasted like spoiled meat was inside of it. The 3 sushi rolls were terrible tasting too. One of the rolls tasted like spoiled fish. Another had an oily metallic taste. It is the worst sushi I have ever had so much so that I trashed it. Money wasted. Also, Grubhub sent me a message that I was charged an additional dollar for "special instructions". Wth?! I guess requesting sweet & sour sauce and the ginger/wasabi mix is a special instruction. I have never had any other restaurant do this. My shrimp smelled so disgusting that it literally permeated my house. my son walked up the stairs and, not knowing what it was, began to gag. it was truly that bad. the other items were ok but the shrimp was absolutely rotten. I'm wondering why anyone would send that to a customer knowing it was bad. I guess they assumed with enough honey and cream, they could cover up the smell. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at Hunan Fusion and will not be coming back. A few weeks ago I ordered a dish with no green onion. I got it to go, and when I got back to my desk at work I noticed that the dish did in fact have green onion in it. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. She told me that the next time I came into the restaurant, she would comp my entrée. Today, I called in another take-out order, and was hassled about the free item. When I got to Hunan to pick up my order, the guy, presumably a different manager, refused to give me the free entrée. He argued with me, saying I had already redeemed my free entrée.... Which was not the case. Beyond the fact that there was a misunderstanding about the free item, it was more disappointing to me the way he handled it. Instead of coming from a place of "I'm sorry" and explaining it to me, he rudely argued with me about it and I could not sense any value of customer service. We have coming here for over 30 years back when it was House of Hunan. It has always been our favorite Chinese food. Love the new updated restaurant, it is beautiful and so modern! I would have given 5 stars but due to them not having our all time favorite dish made the way it used to be. It was the Crispy Shrimp made with a red sauce. It is now made with a brown sauce. Although I have found an awesome dish just as great, the Spicy Thai Shrimp. It isn't too spicy and has great flavor with large shrimp. Our daughter says the Sushi is one of the best around.
