The prices were different online than when I picked up my order. But the worst thing was the food. I ordered Lo Mein I received a dish made with ramen noodles. Not kidding not like ramen noodles they were the same noodles that I buy at the store for 16 cents a package. I felt so ripped off. I called to tell the establishment my disappointment and they said that they had tried to use a Lo Mein noodles but the local red neck population complained and they made fun of them and laughed that they wasn't ready for real Lo Mein noodles. The food was horrible!!! I ordered pepper steak and receive maybe 3 pieces of very small cut steak and a larger amount of onions , bell peppers etc.... It had no taste at all. Also the guy who checked me in was loud and very unprofessional. My soup was great thats the only reason for the one star. Now I'm still hungry! I will never buy from here again and I am going to report this place. read more

Absolutely divine cuisine. The spicy Coconut Panang Curry was on point! Dumplings were delicious! Egg rolls were excellent. Every entree we tried was very tasty. The best Bonus was the chili oil! We love going to Hunans - he's so great to us and checks on everyone. My partner loves SPICY food, so he gets 2X the spice and it's too hot for me, but the plate usually gets finished no matter how mild or hot. Very clean with super friendly staff. Loved the cook (owner?) coming out to check on us. Dinner partner had Pad Thai w Chicken. I had the Charlie Special. Partner said his was good. I loved mine but wished it had more than three shrimp. :) Good flavor and very spicy. The Hot & Sour soup was not to my liking. My partner and I both thought it was egg drop soup. Waitress explained their version of H&S was very different from others. She was great. Soup had a smoky (think Liquid Smoke) flavor that I didn't care for. Also it wasn't spicy and was super thick. We will be back. Just will skip the soup. :) read more

This is our favorite Asian restaurant anywhere! We drive the 30 miles to Friona again to be treated with excellent food in about 7 minutes. They are very polite and keep the interior spotless! Don't let the outside fool you. This place is wonderful! read more

I'm in Clovis for a week for work and decided to go to Hunan's Star II for dinner. Even though it's 33 miles away, based on the Yelp reviews, I went. Pleasant and attentive service. One of the best Hot & Sour Soups I've ever had (and I always get HSS). The General Tso's Chicken was probably the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're nearby. read more

My favorite is the Seafood soup. Also love the Beef jerky and sticky rice. My kids enjoy the fried rice dishes as well. The wantons are good with the sauce that comes with the dish. Clean environment and the staff is supper attentive and friendly. read more
