Had a door added to my steel building. Took a bit to complete the install, but did a good job. The tech was good, but didn't explain things completely in that he needed to come back to install the rubber to cover the gaps between the door and edges of the opening. Never heard from the company so called 2x and told tech was enroute to the office and would check his schedule and call since he had a job in our vicinity. NOTHING! I'm not sure whom these people are that say they had a bad experience with Hung-Rite doors. Ryan came out on a last minute call in to them on a Friday and he showed up just before the business closing hours. I was given a quote for my garage door and the warehouse had the color of door I wanted and the proper sized garage door opener in stock. The tech Mike was a very cool guy. Very knowledgeable about his job and gave some great advice for future needs ie warranties on garage door opener etc. The install was done on the following Monday and done in a very reasonable amount of time. Overall it was a great pleasure to use Hung-Rite garage doors and I'm very greatful to have had the job done just in time before my mom moved down from anchorage and storing her belongings in my garage. Btw the reason I didn't have the door before was I had turned my garage into a master bedroom while we had all our foster kids and needing room. Also to whomever said in another review, I was not told to pay anything up front and paid them after all was said and done. Thank you guys for the great service on a very timely manner. Hi, I was referred to this Hung-rite Garage via my insurance. I called up in the morning and the guy answered was rude but somehow he confirmed the appointment. Guy showed up by 3 on Friday and wrongly assumed the cable is not covered by insurance. I really had a very bad experience with hung-rite garage doors and one of the cable was broken and when I try to open I accidentally slight bended the rails. The guy just walked away during my discussion with insurance. Insurance wants to talk to him but he is gone before the call was even completed. Totally unprofessional, rude and the technician does not seems what to do. Please do not call them for any need. Who walks away when customer is in discussion........... read more

Ryan resold my door to someone else. A door I had framed my garage to fit. Now I'm out a garage door and no one makes doors the size I framed my garage to fit the door that Ryan's company sold to me because it had been sitting in their Phoenix warehouse for two years because it was a custom order that was never picked up. Do not trust this company or Ryan's word. He would not even work with us on another door for our home knowing he sold our door out from under us. Horrible way to run your business Ryan. Because we wanted a local company to install an automatic opener on our garage door, we chose Hung Rite for the job. Our garage door is 12 by 20', so they had to order an opener which took a few days to deliver. Once the opener was in, they set up a time to install it. Their tech was there on time (actually he was early). The installation went great and we are very happy with it. One note I would like to add; if the door you are having the opener installed on has never had an automatic opener before, be sure to have power in place for the new opener. Or have a long extension cord handy. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! Customer service was terrible. They only care about getting paid. They wanted half down to order the door. One week before it was suppose to be installed we called to make sure all was on track and right. They assured us it was. The day before it was to be installed they said they got the wrong door. Then it was the wrong panels. (2 different excuses and it was all the manufacturers fault not theirs at all, they took no responsibility) Had to wait 2 more weeks for a new door that they could not get initially for weeks. Who is lying now about what is going on. Then they complained about all the stuff in the garage because we had to move in before they finally installed the door. Workers told us this happens all the time with this company. As soon as he was done installing the door they waited, demanding the payment on the spot. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! read more

Hung rite came out same day. They gave me a time window and arrived as promised. Replaced my springs in 20 minutes and the bill was less than quoted. Yesterday a competitor came and when I refused to buy a whole new door they refused the job and left. With Hung Rite I went from one extreme to the other.
