No work has been started and the company is unresponsive. Two employees have called us saying that he has taken all the customers money and ran. He is also withholding wages from his employees. Employees say he plans to bankrupt the company. Complaint has been filed with ROC and we are seeking out legal support. Sharing this so no other families become a victim to what he's doing. read more

We had Tri-City update our dark kitchen - they painted our cabinets, new quartz counters, backsplash, sink, and faucet. It gave our space a whole new look, and is much brighter. We hired Tri City to finish an apartment that we bought. The bank forced us to choose between them and another local contractor. They say "you get what you pay for". With Tri City, I got less than I paid for. They quoted almost double the standard rate ($5 per square foot) to install click-together vinyl plank flooring. For that price, I expected a premium install job. The result didn't exactly "wow" me. They installed a broken piece of flooring and they just left it and installed the other boards around it. There were plenty of spare pieces so it's not like they had to use the broken piece. Some parts of the floor move when stepped on, which should not happen with a level, concrete subfloor. They also picked up and installed a bathroom vanity with a CRACKED countertop. They never informed me of the issue or contacted the retailer for a replacement. They just ignored the flaw and said the job was done. I have called multiple times, was promised a call back, and never heard from them. I followed up with my first and second project managers but neither of them still work for Tri City. If you hire this company, be prepared to babysit them every step of the way. Based on my experience, they can't be trusted to complete the job to the standard you'd expect for their high price. read more

Tri-City Home Improvement has exceeded mine and my husband's expectations. We are still waiting for the last finished touches but so far we are so happy we called them. We started with four contractors and the estimate Josh gave though it was not the lowest, it was the fairest and most thorough. Josh was our initial point of contact. He was patient as we worked through what we wanted to do. He gave us line by line estimates with the breakdown in costs. Josh also gave us four references and they all were great. Our project manager is Murph. He has been great with communication and he even suggested a better option (Keeping our windows) which gave us more of a view and less costs. It is always true when people say you get what you pay for. Don't go for the cheap, go for in the middle. This subcontractor basically hires cheap labor and that's what you get, poor quality finish, miscommunication and I can see not experience. We had to be on top of it to make sure it was finished correctly. The gate we had done, our own pre existing gate was used and some slabs added, the welding so poorly done and fixed by manager but not completely professionally done..I will never call them again and I do not recommend them. read more

Did a full home remodel for me 2yrs ago. They use cheaper products for cabinets and flooring. You'll have to sign a waiver on cabinets and you'll find out why when they start to seperate and falling off. I have done several remodels and Tri-City would be considered a mid-level. read more

Tri-City Home Improvement Pros came through for us! We closed on our house March 8th and on March 9th Tyler and Jase showed up to start doing demo for our remodel. They repainted our kitchen and bathroom cabinets beautifully, put in new quartz countertops and backsplashes, redid all the floors in a light luxury vinyl wood and put in new baseboards . They also did our master bathroom shower which turned out fabulous! Brad, our project manager was very helpful and got things done in a timely manner. I had a good experience with this group. They basically reconstructed my home after a flood damaged the floors, walls , etc. They worked for weeks and were good at communicating and doing the work. The job took a week longer than projected which is the only reason I gave them a 4 star. They were courteous, polite, messy and arrived when they said they would be there. I called Tri-City a couple of weeks ago for an estimate and was told it would be a week before they could send somebody out. Not a problem. An appointment was made for Friday, Oct. 30, at 9:00 am. I drove over to the house where I needed the work done and was there at 8:50 out of consideration. I'd rather be 10 minutes early than 1 minute late. Shortly after 9 I got a phone call from Josh telling me he would be late. I had things I needed to do and told him to call me when he arrived. Apparently Josh and/or his employer don't realize that you only have one opportunity to make a good first impression. Josh called about 20 minutes later and I drove back to the house. After cursory introductions, I asked Josh what their limitations were, i.e., what work they couldn't do and was given assurances that they could handle anything. We did a walk-through and I showed him the jobs I needed done. I was surprised he didn't have any questions, but trusted that he must know what he is doing or his employer wouldn't send him out to represent the company. I asked him when I should expect the estimate and he replied that if not tonight, then Monday or Tuesday. When I hadn't received the estimate Tuesday, I called the office and was told by the lady there that she would take care of it. On Thursday I called the office again and left a voice mail. An hour later Josh called and said that they would need to send an electrician out to get a price on part of the work. (As you probably remember, I asked what limitations their company had...). I asked why, if that was the case, I wasn't told at the time or given a phone call explaining the situation to me. He attempted to explain it away by saying he had just gotten the voice mail the day before after 5....apparently not bothering to check the time stamp of just an hour before. This would have been a perfect opportunity for Tri-City Pros to be just that...PROS, as I have a number of rentals homes and have recently lost the use of my arm and will need a company to take care of them. I'd advise looking elsewhere. Flaky at best! read more

BUYER BEWARE Our simple project turned into an unfinished nightmare. I chose Tri City Home Improvement to update my kitchen because I have always heard they had a good reputation. After I began having problems with them I looked closer and found most favorable reviews are from years ago and many people are unhappy with their work and business practices as of late. My kitchen remodel that was to take 2-4 weeks took 6+ months and was never finished. So many aspects of the job had to be done 2 and even 3 times because of poor workmanship. Painted cabinetry was very poorly prepped, knot holes in the wood were filled and not well sanded, sandpaper grooves were visible, lines in the paint where the doors had been leaned to dry, chipped wood not touched up where hardware was installed, doors not rehung plumb, caulk used instead of grout in one area of the backsplash that had to be redone that did not match in color or texture, shelving not hung level 3 different times, insufficient tile ordered for the job, front door taken off the hinges and painted outside in the wind leaving a visible orange peal finish. Communication was terrible and most of my concerns went completely ignored until I filed a complaint with the ROC. The ROC found the work lacking and ordered it fixed but even the attempts to correct the work were inadequate. Frustrated after 6 months of poor communication and workmanship we got out of our contract, unwilling to have them do any more work in our home. Now we will have to find another contractor to finish the job. read more

Purchased a home in Ponderosa Park last October. The seller stated they had just painted the home. Within a month the paint was peeling off and exposed some questionable repairs. Called Bobby and he called me right back. Since it is a log cabin style home, there was a great deal of handwork and crack filling that needed to be done. In the end the workmanship was top notch and while not an inexpensive job, it was worth every penny. I have hire TriCity to do three other projects and look forward to their completion. read more

Call Bobby at Tri-City Earthworks if you've got some kind of home or yard issue or need labor. Just do it. If your experience is anything like mine, you'll be happier than you ever imagined. I live in the pines, off a dirt road. I ordered a hot tub from Costco. The delivery company said they could leave it curbside. Period. At my house there are 16 narrow concrete steps leading to the back yard, then rocks and a dirt path and a little deck off the back bedroom where I wanted the hot tub to go. A horrible job. Getting something as lightweight as a patio chair up there is no cakewalk. Bobby's crew arrived a few minutes early. What?? Four of the nicest, most personable guys you'd ever want to meet. We waited around for word from the delivery company. Finally, I called them and was told that the truck couldn't make it up my street because of overhanging trees. The guys said, "No problem. We have a pickup!" The drove it down the the moving van, loaded the hot tub, brought it back to my house, and with no complaining or drama, managed to carry it up the stairs, unpack it, hoist it over the deck railing and position it. Bobby, the owner, is a great person. When I called him to see if he could do the job, I really thought he'd say no. He was all over it, worked the schedule around me, and was as good as his word. The price for the job was more than reasonable. Much more. I'd call him for any challenging job, yard or house. This is Prescott, after all. Finding people who show up when they say, who'll actually do the job in the time frame needed, are rare. We are lucky to have Tri-City Earthworks here. I am finally writing a review about Tri-City my wife signed a contract with them to do about a 50K remodel of the home we bought in 2019 and they finished in 2020. Bobby the supposed owner of the company completely misrepresented his company as an actual home remodeler not a general contractor who uses whomever he can get to do work on your home. He represented that all the workers would be his employees which was a complete lie. He subs out everything and has some of the most incompetent workers I have ever seen. During the remodel they turned the heat on in the house as high as it could go and left the front door back door and windows wide open for more than a few days. They did the flooring replacement on a 3550ft house, and it has never been done correctly. They came in once and fixed it but the tiles keep separating and they refuse to fix their shoddy work. I am posting this just to let who ever reads this know. Not to believe a word these guy say and makes sure not to ever use them. Love this company and owner, Bobby. They are responsive and do quality work. It's so nice to have a company who does what they say they will, especially up here in Prescott. They put in the tile floor in my kitchen, did a beautiful job and cleaned up after themselves. They forgot a very minor thing and came right out to do it. Everyone makes mistakes but the quality of the person or company is proved in how they fix those mistakes. Bobby and his crew are the best. They completed 2 huge jobs for us on time and on budget. I could not be more pleased with his work!

Had them give us an estimate for a tile backsplash in the kitchen and a new shower in the master bath. While the cost was on the high side,it wasn't out of line. They started the project on time but things got out of hand almost immediately. The guy they sent out to do the demo, the framing and the tile had no idea of what was doing. When I brought it to the managers attention, he was removed, but I don't think it should have been up to me to supervise their work. Then the fellow doing the final work installed the shower door backwards, completely messed up the shower seat, and didn't properly seal the glass. To their credit, they took care of those quickly, but again, it was clear there was a lack of supervision. On the plus side, the tile work in both the kitchen and the bathroom was excellent as was the plumbing, drywall,and paint. The overall job turned out very well, but it was something of a bumpy ride. read more

I spoke with bobby on the phone multiple times, he was very polite and always answers his phone or called back promptly (texted promptly as well). They showed up on time and got the work done fast.
