Sketchy back entrance, but they do wholesale noodles at fantastic prices. $28 got me 40 lbs of fresh rice noodles.

They are nice and small with selected items such as pasta, sweets, cheese, and of course, meat and meat products. Warmth is felt through services, and also their items most of which are locally sourced. The fillet mignon (AAA Ontario Beef) was tender and flavorful. But I was more impressed with their home-cooked roast beef. When I saw it at the deli meat display case, I could not resist buying it. It looked perfectly medium rare, lean, and juicy. I asked for their recommended thickness - which was paper thin. Oh yes, I was right, it was juicy, packed with beef flavor with perfect seasonings. I think it will be as good when it is thicker - next time! I learned later that their cured meat products such as sausages are also good. I am looking forward to coming here again!

They are especially known for their pork products. Great bacon and sausages. But this week I went in and scored an old British fave. So I am checking out the prep food counter and what do I spy? Pork pie and by that I mean something that is their version of the Melton Mowbray pie. And boy of boy - Royal Beef NAILED IT. Yes indeed - the crust is hot water recipe which is an absolute must. I've tried versions of this elsewhere and candidly no one else in the GTA has come close. The filling also was seasoned and the perfect consistency. It's a drag the HP or Branston Pickle out of the cupboard moment. We enjoyed our pie and I went back today and cleaned them out (ie bought the last 4). Thanks so much for bringing a taste of England to my Christmas this year. So important as I could not get home to see my relatives this year. As for what else ? Lots of great meat products, frozen foods, fresh breads, lots of Italian foods including olive oils, sauces, dried pasta and more. Lastly they sell fantastic Baklava. Don't know who makes for them but a package of that always ends up on the pile too.

Love this new shop that has a huuuuge variety of groceries…read more Compared to some other shops I've been to in Toronto (*ahem* Kensington Mkt shops) this was a spacious, clean, well organized, neat shop with friendly staff. They had the sapote fruit which was a little bit expensive at $10. But I guess it takes a lot too import. They also have some fresh juices like hibiscus, and lime. Unfortunately there is no street parking. The closest parking is by the alcohol store if you can sneak a parking there. My number one reason for coming here was the queso Ruffles. I have never tasted a chip flavour better than this one. If you have never had it, change your life today and go get a bag though its over $5 for a bag, but it's a rare find in Canada so definitely go get it and impress your friends by sharing ONE chip. Just the one, because you will want to keep the rest! And then you can tell them about the gym of a store where you got it. I also recommend the Ibarra hot cocoa tablet. It's really easy to use and they're individually packaged inside for you to use at any time. It's really sweet though. Melt the tablet in a little pot of hot water. After, add milk or cream and some ground cinnamon and Nutmeg. It will be a spectacular treat!!! Ive also put it in the fridge and sipped it later as a cold drink. If you add some instant coffee, it will be Super Fly!! You are welcome! I also recommend getting a little pack of chamoy. They have different flavours. Check this place out!

I will keep supporting this store. Definitely would recommend to the owner to consume what they sell, occasionally.
