On this day, a slower Tuesday with lots of tables available, everything was on point! The service was top notch, really so nice and the meal was timed just perfectly. It also seemed like there was a bit of a refresh in the dining room. We were seated in the Heritage room and it felt brighter. We ordered the family style chicken dinner with the extra nominal cost to include fried shrimp and the prime rib. Both were tasty! The star of the show is the famous fried chicken, moist, crunchy and delicious! My favorite items are all the starters and the sides. The family just loves the butter noodles with the crumb topping, the gravy, mashed and dressing. The meal was completed with the ice cream and cherry strudel. There were some bees or wasps that were bothering people and they did become quite annoying, especially towards the end of our meal.
