This 1 star review is not because of their pizza which I actually enjoy but because I noticed something very strange the last few times I have ordered from them online. They are essentially stealing money from customers because the totals of from what is being purchased does not match up to the total given in the final screen. I am getting ready to place an order and sure enough my total was almost $5 more than what should be. I decided I would go to a different location and add the exact same products online to see what the total would be, and wouldn't you know the pricing came out properly & lower than this location even though their specials are listed as the exact same price. Not sure how nobody has caught onto this or if they are purposely scamming customers, but I believe you have just lost a customer who has been ordering from this place for years. read more

For starters, let's point out that I am LESS than two minutes from the HH I am reviewing, but I have a toddler, and am single, so taking her to get my pizza - would've been unnecessary chaos, which is where delivery comes in! And they failed miserably! I ordered ONE pizza, no special requests, just added extra seasoning to my crust. No weird add-ons. Oh, a side of bread! My bread was FREEZING. The cheese was glue. Glue. They mess up my order nearly every time. The only reason I still go to this location is because it's 2 blocks away from me. Sometimes it's a small mess up, other times it's like they didn't even look at the ticket. Tyler, one of the managers is awesome and always does his best to make it right. The other manager, (I'm not sure her name) is also really nice, but they're employees are horrendous. Super rude, always have headphones in, never in uniform, I've watched one guy play on his phone outside while I was inside waiting and he watched me walk in, stood there for 5 minutes before he came in as I watched my pizza in the hot box. Seems like tight management, but really need new employees or to instill some manners of some sort. Update** That person that watched me walk in, wait, and continue to play on his phone is now a manager and his name is Paris. Avoid him at all cost. He's rude, has NO customer service, and will probably mess up your order. Yet. He got promoted. I've been ordering from this location for 2 years and it has gone downhill consistently. An hour and fifteen minutes later, the app says my food is still in the "Making" stage. Will never order from this location again.

Absolutely terrible!!!! It took over one hour and 15 min. before I had to call and check the status of my online order. I was told it was "on the road 10-15 minutes ago and will be there any second", but almost 30 minutes later....still nothing. I live less than 3 minutes from this location. I call back again and the manger gave me an attitude because I asked for my money back and to cancel the order. He told me to, "just calm down and listen to him", "it wasn't his fault, it was the driver's". So either he lied to me the first time I called and it wasn't even made, or it was the truth and he then expected me to pay for a cold pizza that had been sitting in a car for an hour. Either way it is unacceptable to place blame as a manager. The manager then placed me on hold to "process", my refund (1 pizza was ordered at 7:11 p.m, now it's 8:55 p.m.---STILL NO PIZZA and a hungry kid, up past his bed time waiting...), and then he hung up on me!!!! I called back and he didn't want to speak to me and some mumbling kid told me the refund will be sent to my card. I get that business's get busy and things happen, I really do. I just expect at least a phone call if you are going to take 2 hours to deliver 1 pizza and a 2 liter. Acknowledge the problem, it is the decent thing to do. I wouldn't have written this had I even got a simple apology. ( but glad I did because now I can see it is a repeated pattern by this establishment and not a one time incident). I have worked in restaurants; I get it. But to be treated like I am the issue is ridiculous I have never had worse service in my LIFE!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Never in my life have I received worst customer service, not only did they forget items from my order when delivering but when I asked for them to be replaced I was sworn at and hung up on. I have been dealing with this situation for over a week and all they're offering to do after being that unprofessional is to replace my salad. Even when asked how they were going to compensate my time and frustration I was told they would only replace the item they forgot. Everyone from the shift managers to the general manager is completely unprofessional and doesn't know the first thing about customer service, I will not only be continuing to contact their corporate office until this gets handled, but I will be contacting problem solvers and exploring other options until this horrid place of business fixes themselves and learns how to conduct proper customer service. I used their ap to place a Howie Bread and small salad order. It's about 40 minutes and i'm still waiting. They say they are short handed with 4 people in the kitchen at 6:30 on a Monday, but the 4 people are all moving really slow. Bottom line... Go to Little Ceasar's for 1/2 the price and no line. I prefer Hungry Howie's over all other pizza (kinda hate pizza); mislocated my wallet after picking up grub for my boyfriend and his Dungeons and Dragons crowd... hard to say who I'm saltier towards (lol). Calling the establishment three times, I heard vague distant talking. Either the line is faulty or the late night crew doesn't give a shit about late night inquiries. Hungry Howie's has been my favorite pizza.. but over the last year this location had gotten worse and worse... there has been times it has taken 2 hours to get my food and I live a half mile away.. now this last order, I got a salad with barely any toppings all lettuce, a burnt pizza, and bread sticks with just about no butter.. and it took an hour to arrive.. NEVER ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION. Tonight is my final straw. I ordered over an hour ago and have not gotten my food and they close in an hour. I called and all they said was they were busy and only have 1 delivery driver. How does a pizza place that's always busy have 1 driver. Every time I've ordered from here something's been messed up.
