Alex is a great bartender and server. It was my first time and he suggested the best flavored wings and made the best Long Island I ever had. Alex is a bad MF! I love him

    Chicken wings

Ordered a 20 piece wing..... they served me chicken nails or gizzards or chicken toes... whatever it was they weren't wings. Bartender said they were aware of the quality as they had to "hand cut" them themselves...said it was disgusting but yet still served them. Only positive thing I can say is they took it off the bill...but I wasn't paying either way. & my stomach has been hurting all day. I went yesterday

visting detroit was in the mood for some wings but not just any wings. i wanted them to be legit. I was raised in the south so i know what good wings are. and these wings were on point. They were seasoned great with a little hint of lemon pepper. That surprised me and made me enjoy it more. They were the perfect size wings and not inflated like Wingstop wings. I was serviced fast and my food came out quickly and fresh. The seasoned fries were great as well to go along. Must try and i will be back when visiting detroit again.

Started working close to Bugsy's 2 years ago and decided to stop by one night with my roommate. So glad we did. The wings are so fricken good. They taste like your family's backyard BBQ. We get house wings with ranch and split a BLT w/ cheese. 10/10. Amber, Sam & Jaz are the icon trio of bartenders we fell in love with. But honestly all of the afternoon staff is super chill. Sometimes it's crazy busy and sometimes it's quiet and more intimate. They don't rob you for drinks, it's worth a stop. I've talked 8 of my coworkers into going and they end up ordering carry outs all the time now

Little difficulty with folks who aren't as tech savvy as there are not servers or menus but if you don't want a typical restaurant experience where you have to wait for everyone to arrive (you know you have those friends that are always late for everything!) to order this is your jam. Food has always been good and their drink selection is as diverse as you're going to find in the craft beer scene today. Yes, 1/3-1/2 of their taps are IPA's but that's what you people have done to this world.

A hostess who takes your money and gives you a bracelet, automated beer, and you use your phone to order from the kitchen, they text you and you go get your food. I wondered many times how they could serve alcohol and not monitor how much people were drinking? So I asked. The host is in the front said at the end of 32 oz is your bracelet will not work and you need to come up and see me to reset it. I guess that's how they would monitor whether or not someone could get another 32 oz? I'm surprised not more places have copied their business layout. With the new generation, this would be the place to go, you barely have to speak to anyone except for the people you're with.

I will preface this by saying I didn't order a pizza. That being said I ordered the grilled cheese…read morewhich touted mozzarella, pesto, baby spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes on sourdough. I opted for the garlic fries upcharge, bringing my total to $19.00. Somehow I justified it because I like these toppings and these toppings weirdly weren't available on a pizza. Or at least I didn't see it via the phone based ordering system. Yes, that's right, this is all of the future check with wrist bands and pour your own beer situation. Don't look for a paper menu, they ain't here. My sandwich wasn't a grilled cheese. It was basically pesto toast with large sun-dried tomatoes and scraps of mozzarella. Baby spinach was just missing. I did inquire to the host (perchance the only actual employee?) and he did talk to the kitchen and I guess they were out. With that information I turned to my friend Robert and said, "You know why we have servers? So they can let you know they're 86 spinach." I suppose I would have adjusted my order had I known this too. What's nuts is, they have ingredients to make a better grilled cheese. I mean, step one: add cheese. Why not mix the ricotta and pesto together and then add like havarti or something that may actually melt and have flavor. The sun-dried tomatoes should be sliced smaller. The garlic fries were fine, but also could have had more flavor. Robert's and neighboring table's pizza looked fine. Is it better than any other place offering Detroit style pizza? Hard to say. I guess I'm not in a hurry to go back. The kind host did make an adjustment to my bill for lack of spinach--but having a server would have prevented that being necessary.

I was heading home hungry when I passed Elephant & Co, a restaurant I had on my radar for months…read more It was way past lunch and well before dinner, so I was surprised by the steady stream of customers in this pizza/tap/game room, a difficult genre to define. Upon entering, the staffer explained the set-up to enjoy a variety of beers, poured and priced by the volume. Located at the back of the restaurant, customers can select beer flavors and serve themselves, no bartender needed. A tab is started and charged based on usage, tracked through the wristband provided to you. I ordered over mobile via a QR code, selecting pretzel sticks with beer cheese dip and a large, Detroit-style pizza. The soft pretzels were tender with a lovely crusty exterior. I inhaled the first pretzel since it was past lunchtime, savoring the salty, cheesy bites. I must admit, the pretzels' saltiness temporarily affected my taste buds because the pizza had little flavor, even with the pepperoni, sausage, and olives. I definitely did not taste the hot honey drizzle. I want to praise the light, airy crust. For a deep dish pizza, it did not sit heavy in my tummy. I also appreciated that the pizza was served on a rack, to allow air circulation and to prevent sogginess. The space was dark and had both large communal tables and smaller, intimate tables. This allowed for larger groups to enjoy community beyond a friend group. The other plus is the board games that are available to pass the time while enjoying various beers.

If it's something big come early cause it definitely gets packed pretty quick. I had the boneless wings with the Korean sauce and it was shockingly good. Boneless wings are a low expectation food for me, so when a sauce or the crisp really comes out excellent, I'm always genuinely surprised. The sauce was really the highlight, cause it balances flavor and heat perfectly, while also having some sweetness without being too sticky. What I really like about this spot is that they have around 110 draft beers on tap so it's really a craft beer lovers paradise. They also have some basic beers for those who don't have the love for crafts along with a full bar and curated cocktail list. So if you like the idea of an elevated sports bar, with solid food choices, and amazing beer list this is the spot for you.

We started off with a drink at the bar before a table opened up. My margarita was perfectly balanced, refreshing and strong. For my entree I had the Whiskey glazed salmon and it was delicious. I love the lively atmosphere at Yard House and it's always a great place to watch a game because of the many tvs. Next time, i'd like to come back during happy hour from 3-6pm to try different appetizers that are priced half off.
