One of the best pizzas I have ever had. Great ingredients, great bread / crust, excellent customer service, and good prices. Each pizza is made to perfection every time. I've had every pizza they make and have never been let down. Follow them on Instagram to see where they are at and go. You won't be disappointed.

That's no longer true, and it's disappointing to say so. Our most recent order was over $100 for a large pizza, a couple of sides from the new expanded menu, and drinks. We ended up throwing away more than half of it. The pizza went from hot to stiff as cardboard within minutes, the toppings and cheese were sparse for the price, and the wings came out undercooked. On top of that, the order took a full hour. It feels like Tony's has shifted its focus to weekend tourist traffic from LA, and the quality has slipped as a result -- out-of-towners aren't going to leave a review or notice the decline over the years the way longtime regulars will. We've since switched to Toppers for pizza night, but honestly, I'd love to find a solid New York-style spot with quality ingredients that's worth the price. I don't think I'm being unreasonable here -- I just expect what I pay for to match what shows up at the table. At this price point, this isn't it anymore.

First off, they have an old school salad. It's sadly not unlimited, but for $8.20, you can get a regular salad bar bowl (1 bowl, 1 trip). The salad bar was slaying - it was well maintained and offered every imaginable topping. Perfect salad bar if I've ever seen one. We also started with the chips and onion dip ($6.15). They use freshly made potato chips and serve it with a house-made caramelized onion dip. The dip is so light in texture and pairs perfectly with the crispy potato chips. It's the type of dip you'd like to meet during football season. For pizza, we ordered a Hawaiian Heat ($25.55 for a medium). Unlike other Hawaiian renditions we've eaten before, the base of this pizza is a creamy garlic sauce. It's then topped with Canadian style bacon, chicken in bbq sauce, bacon pieces, red onions, pineapples & jalapeños. This pizza is topping heavy and I am absolutely here for it. The crust has a nice chew which I really enjoyed. The Toppers Hawaiian Heat is very much a Hawaiian pizza on steroids. I can see why people love Toppers. I had an incredibly fun dinner for my last night in Ventura's. Highly recommend checking Toppers out if you happen to be in the area.

After a quick check on yelp, this place came highly recommended. I was a little bit worried when I arrived. We were the only people in the entire restaurant. My wife and I were seated quickly. I did appreciate that the menu was not overly complicated. It made it easy to make our selections. They also did offer happy hour specials during the week. I opted for the double Smashburger and fries. The Smashburger comes with their signature sauce, which you can order at a few different spice levels. The girl at the counter said that normally people go with the regular spice level so I opted for that. When my burger and fries arrived, I was quite surprised at the portion sizes. My basket was filled with french fries and my burger was pleasantly large. In regards to the flavor I do have to say this was probably one of the best tasting burgers I have ever had. I didn't want to note that they do use sweet pickles on their burgers here. But it just works with the flavor that they're going for. My wife ordered the "my girlfriend is not hungry" sampler platter. This came with fries, onion rings, pretzel bites chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. Everything was great tasting. Their onion rings were cooked to absolute perfection. The restaurant itself on the inside is a little bit small so I could imagine on days that they are busy. It might get a little bit cramped. I did also wanna mention that I did like that. They had a changing table in the restroom. That was a nice touch that you honestly do not see at a lot of restaurants even the mainstream ones.

We ordered the pretzel balls. They were good, but they needed more salt. We also ordered the Philly cheesesteak, OMG! I am a Philly cheesesteak connoisseur and it had this wonderful cheesy hatch sauce. This is my very favorite new Philly cheesecake place out here because there's not a lot of places we can go. We also got the sliders. The sliders had a really nice bun. It came with a smash burger Patty, it has wonderful, caramelized, onions, and sliced pickles. It was a very nice combination and they have the yummy thousand island dressing on there similar to In-N-Out. Derick was are server and was doing awesome, especially considering he was alone on a crazy busy day. The food was great, atmosphere decent. We will be back! I was so glad it was better than my expectations!

I ordered a medium 1/2 cheese with extra red sauce and 1/2 Veggie, kinda a standard order. Tonight the cheese side was great as usual but the veggie had some type of unknown meat mixed in above the veggies. For many reasons, too many to list I have not eaten meat since 1975. I know the taste of good veggies and deplore the taste of any type of meat. Because there are so many veggies in the pizza I'd have inspect the pizza with a magnifying glass to make sure it's meatless, but should I have to? I took a bite of the veggie and tasted the meat hidden among the veggies and spit it out. No more veggie pizza for me. Come on topper's. Can't you give a loyal customer what they order? No meat means no meat. You Owen the Ventura County pizza market, you have a good product but BE CARFUL. I'm mid July Ventura gets a slice house pizza place.
