I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was too disappointing to ignore. From the moment we arrived, the service was incredibly slow. We waited an unreasonable amount of time just to be acknowledged, and things only got worse from there. The cleanliness of the restaurant was unacceptable. Our table was dirty when we were seated, the floor had trash all over it, and our plates arrived wet with food smudges still on them, making it obvious they hadn't been cleaned properly. When our pizza finally came out, there was a hair baked into it. We immediately tried to get our server's attention, but we were completely ignored. My boyfriend had his hand raised for several minutes trying to get help, and Sara walked by multiple times without acknowledging us. When we were finally able to speak with Sara about the issue, her attitude was rude and dismissive. Instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, she acted as if we were inconveniencing her. Customer service goes a long way, especially when there's a legitimate problem with the food, but we received none. Between the extremely long wait, the dirty table, trash on the floor, wet and dirty plates, finding a hair on our pizza, being ignored when we needed assistance, and the poor attitude from Sara, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Unfortunately, we won't be returning or recommending this place to anyone. read more

The food here is always amazing. I usually get a peperoni pizza with regular crust and some type of salad to take home. Their salads are huge! I order a BBQ tri-tip salad or a tossed green salad and when I take it home it lasts me at least 2 days. I usually just get take out, rarely ever dine in and last night I remembered why. Luckily the food makes up for the mediocre service. You're lucky if your waitress/waiter ever comes back to check on you once you've gotten your food. So if you wanted a refill on your drink or extra dressing, too bad. If you don't go straight up to the cashier stand they will take forever to bring you your check. And even when you do ask for something as simple as a box or to-go container, the servers look completely annoyed that you asked them to do their job. I still love this place, but will stick to strictly take-out to avoid the lack of quality service. read more

I'm so glad I got to try this spot out! After a hike my family and I stopped for a good pizza and salad- and we got just that with great, attentive service. I was pleasantly surprised at how the large salad was served- a bowl for the table to share! I got the antipasto and it was enough for three of us (I had two portions, could serve 4!) The crust was something special, and I want to go back to try more. My kids under 10 were entertained with the menus and crayons and the patio looked like a nice spot as well, but we opted for the air conditioned space. Happy 2026!! I've been waiting to try This pizza place for years now & today's the day! On Hwy 33 Keep your eyes peeled, it's across from the USA gas station. I missed it and had to turn around. Walked into a cute quaint bar with 5 high tops and 8 seats at the bar, I'm sure it fills up quickly! There is also a family style dining area with booth seating and a huge back patio area. The menu has ample options for sandwiches, Calzones, pastas & Pizza Pies! So the hubby & I decided to go for a classic Italian sub & small Pepperoni pizza. Taylor our server suggested we try both. So we indulged Our food came out within 15 minutes. Oh boy!! The pizza piping Hott and the original crust is the way to go!! Taylor also suggested the original crust for the pizza. The servings are very generous, and we had enough leftover for lunch the following day. Great tasting food and a great environment. Our server was very attentive and had a great personality. All I have to say is - POTATO SKIN PIZZA! My boyfriend brought me here specifically for this pizza, and it did not disappoint. Think of what you'd get on a potato skin, then put it all on a pizza. What a great combo! Layered with ranch, mozzarella, thinly sliced potatoes, cheddar cheese, bacon, and green onion with a side of sour cream, this pizza is heaven. They have a nice roomy patio here at the Oak View location that is also dog friendly. It may not be on the main strip like the one right in Ojai, but it's nice to be able to sit outdoors and it is way less busy. The Combination had lots of toppings and the sauce was excellent.. The Cheese pizza looked delicious and not greasy.. We visit this restaurant regularly when in Ojai. The pizzas are consistently good; however, our server, Taylor, provided extremely poor service. Despite the Restaurant not being busy, we requested ranch dressing for our pizza and waited seven minutes without receiving it. As our pizza was getting cold, we had to get up and ask her again. She responded in a rude and dismissive manner before finally bringing the ranch. She set it down abruptly and rolled her eyes. We should not have to ask twice for a simple condiment. This experience reflects poor service overall, and we hope the restaurant will take steps to improve. Honestly the best pizza in Ventura county. Service was great and you order from your table. We dined outside on the patio. Patio does have shade but opted out to enjoy the sun on an early weekend day and music being played was a bonus. The pizza was amazing! We stopped in and checked with the bar area first to make sure it was okay to sit outside, and we were told yes. We sat down expecting normal service, it wasn't busy. We waited around 15 minutes just to get menus, followed by another 30+ minutes without a single person checking on us or taking our order. Meanwhile, multiple tables around us were seated, served drinks, and attended to while we were blatantly ignored. The table next to us was even fully bussed and reset before anyone acknowledged our existence. After nearly 45 minutes of keeping two toddlers patient and entertained with absolutely no service, we finally left without ordering. When you're by yourself at lunch you don't want a giant pie or to spend a fortune. Ojai Pizza has a great lunch special and it's super delicious. I was a little skeptical when I looked at the pan size hanging on the wall but the toppings were stacked high and it had what most places would call extra cheese. I was quite full when I left. Ice tea was fresh brewed and good too, which is also important while at work. I did count over a dozen taps if a beer became necessary. Jennea was super friendly and helpful. The perfect host to help me on my first visit. She was right when she said that the parmesan cheese also tastes better a Ojai Pizza. You can sit at a bar area, in a dining room, or a large outdoor patio. Pretty great to have an outdoor option at a pizza place. Needless to say I like it and will be back. read more

I enjoy that they are crispy and come with a sauce. I chose honey mustard and oh my, its THE BEST HONEY MUSTARD EVER. And don't get me started on those garlic knots. Its approximately $3-$4 for the garlic knots. You get three served up with heavy parmesan cheese and garlic. With the softest best bread you can imagine. I get them EVERY TIME. They made space for our stroller but wouldnt recommend bringing one if you don't have to- the place is small. But the food was SOOOO GOOD! We spend no less that $70.00 when treating ourselves to a family night at our favorite pizza spot, OPC. We went on a busy Saturday and unfortunately they got everything wrong. Ordered two different type of wings, Buffalo bone in & plain boneless. Bone in was sauceless, boneless wings came heavily sauced in the wrong flavor. We also ordered a double chicken Caesar salad that was missing from our bag. We did find a box of garlic bread in the to-go bag with someone else's name & phone number on it. Yikes! I did call once we discovered the mix up. Didn't complain about the wings because we didn't want them to throw away good food if exchanged. They did replace the missing salad, but had to drive 20 mins (live in Ventura) to go back to get it. Their salads are my favorite and every time I've ordered one it's been perfection!
